When I called to make them aware Kim first suggested that I turn the shower head so water doesn't get on the door. Are you kidding me?! They sent out the installer and he did some caulking that did not solve the issue. I called again, talked to Kim. She said she would talk to the installer and call me back. She did not call back. I called again and she put the blame on the installer that he should have called me. He came out again, replaced the vinyl sweep at the bottom of the door. Still leaks. The sweep has ripped and about half of it has been cut off because it continued to tear with every opening of the door. I gave 2 stars because the door looks really nice so I'll give a bonus star. The only reason I used this company is because that is who the contractor who did my bathroom uses. I also had issue with payment. I've had the door about 8 months now and the leaking is still an issue.

I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

While initially they were very communicative and proactive, once I submitted my 50% deposit, I feel like the company has almost ghosted me. No one ever called to inform me that my windows were in. I had to call after almost a month and a half to get a status update and lo and behold my windows happened to be in and I was able to schedule only after I called. Then, only a couple of days later I get a call from Paul while I'm in a work meeting that they need to reschedule. We have young, reactive dogs and need to make arrangements for them to be out of the house during installation so rescheduling for us isn't as simple as picking another day. I call back shortly after and left a voicemail of my own for Paul. Almost 4 hours went by without a response and considering there is a holiday weekend and only a couple of days until my scheduled appointment, I had to call back yet again. Over the last month, I have called the main line of Window World over 10 times and I've only spoken to a live person twice. Also, their text communication service wasn't working this week either, making this even more frustrating. Update: The poor communication continued right up to installation day. The day before my 8-10am appointment window I called at 3:30pm to make sure I would receive a phone call when the crew was on their way. This is important so that we could get our dogs over to a friend's house before arrival. I was assured I would get a call 15 minutes before the crew would arrive. I never received the promised call; the crew just showed up and rang the doorbell, leading to a chaotic situation my wife and I had to deal with that should have never happened. I cannot believe how many times I as the customer, have had to call this company to get anything accomplished. I'm beyond disappointed with how I've been treated as a customer since I paid my 50% deposit.
