They hands down are extremely empathetic and caring. My second visit happened bc I had a check engine light come on in my 2013 Prius V. Took it to Minnie's bc I was so impressed w the first visit which was just a basic oil change. This was on a Monday and they were booked til Friday so I set the appointment and came back later. They did a full inspection and determined the issue was a failing coolant pump on the electric side. They said they found no leaks etc.They detailed what the issue was and what the fix was. I'm definitely impressed w how they break down what they do into digestible bite sized bits for non-car folks. They offered I could pick up the car and pay the diagnostic/inspection fee of $50. Said they didn't have the high voltage equipment to work on the car and advised go to a specialist. Lucky for me I do have one ( Woodards in Florence, I just moved here from there. ). They work on hybrids and electric so I took it there. The only grip I'd have is that I did ask if Minnie's handles hybrids. I believe I was told yes and the person ( the owner ) stated they drive a hybrid Camery. Maybe I should have said "work on the electric side of hybrids bc I could have dropped it at Woodards 60 miles away but I'd rather pump money into a reliable, friendly place. Not sure I'll be back. Over the phone, I explained what kind of car I have and asked if they could help. The person on the line basically dismissed me and said they don't work on cars like mine because it's "too cheap." It was incredibly rude and unprofessional to judge a customer's car like that, especially without even seeing it in person. I was just looking for help with a tire problem, not someone's opinion about the value of my vehicle. Customer service over the phone should at least be respectful, but instead I felt talked down to and brushed off. If a shop is going to turn customers away because they think their car isn't worth their time, that says a lot about how they treat people. I ended up calling another shop that had no problem helping me. Definitely wouldn't recommend calling this place unless you want to be judged for what you drive. IF I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS I WOULD.

I found Turnage Auto Care through Yelp and made the appointment right through the Yelp app. Tyler messaged me and set everything up. Aaron greeted me right as I arrived and got the process started. While changing the oil they inspected my car and found a few issues with the tires I mostly knew about. He offered to send a quote to replace one or all tires & TPMS sensors ( which my 13 yr old car was needing ) I liked that they quote through a text link so you can see the cost and everything associated with the repair. You can decline the service or accept it. We talked about tires and sensors and ultimately decided to go with a better tire than quoted. They priced the cost and labor very competitively and I approved the service. There was no pressure at all during this transaction. Just information and options. I definitely was happy to find Turnage Auto Care, Tyler and Aaron. I'll be bringing both of my Hybrids to them from now on!
