Sold my daughter an admittedly older Jeep. Had problems from the beginning. Brought the car an after a week or two to their mechanic to have issues with the dash cluster fixed. My daughter then went to get an oil change. Upon inspection they found the transmission pan had clamps helping to hold it together. My mechanic said it looked like during a repair a bolt snapped and this how they held it together along with sealant. Fast forward to about a month ago. My daughter had the car towed in with what turned out to be transmission Issues. In a pinch we agreed to pay 2100 for transmission work. When they initiated the work they called and said we should reconsider because the frame looked like it had rot in many places and the work wouldn't be worth it. They sold my daughter a real POS. Our most recent purchase from Barnstorm was not our first purchase with them but if Scott is the only salesman available, it probably will be our last. Scott is nice enough, but he really is the typical fast talking, sh*t talking, car salesman. Let me start by saying, we love our Jeep but within 2 months we are realizing a lot of what Scott said was just BS! I was going to write a review immediately after purchasing because I was so unhappy with him but decided against it because I do love Barnstorm as a whole. I questioned when the last time it had, had an oil change because the sticker in the Jeep was way past the date or mileage. Scott assured me they did an oil change, but they don't have stickers to put on the car. However, after I just had to do an oil change on my Jeep after not even 2 months, I realize it was just another thing he said. Gosh, Scott sure saw us coming! We answered an ad for a jeep that was being sold for around $4700. After confirming it was available over the phone we drove over an hour to go check it out. This was my first time purchasing a car from a dealer and having just moved we were desperate for a vehicle. I guess it was pretty obvious because once we got there the price had jumped to nearly 10k, including fees and taxes. I know I should never trust a fast talker, but did I mention we were desperate? I also thought that buying from a dealer was safer bet than a private sale from a stranger. Boy was I wrong! That jeep *completely* died less than 6 months later. I had it towed to the shop 3 times and invested an addtional $1100 into it replacing the ignition and the starter and some wiring only to have it die a fourth time in my driveway. Battery was brand new, too. At least that time it was in my driveway and not the supermarket or the post office or the gas station, as the other 3 times. My mechanics couldnt figure out what was going on. It initially would work for a couple days after the various fixes and then just.. nothing. The Carfax report was clean, but the car definitely showed signs of previous damage. I even asked Scott directly if it had been in an accident, but he rarely responds to emails and didnt respond to this one. Funny story though! That Scott told me during the sale about how he initially wanted this jeep for a family member- who has a very bad habit of falling asleep at the wheel and crashing cars, due to cranking the heat way up when they're driving to work early in the morning. Makes ya think, right? Anywho, I ended up donating it to Kars for Kids, because at this point, it wasn't worth the cost of the 5th tow. Barnstorm also sent me a $28 *unsigned* refund check. When I informed them of their error, instead of reissuing this pittance, they took 5 weeks to tell me the check was issued in error and then wrote up two lines in a word document as "proof", with Tanya telling me "they won't show me their tax returns"- which I never asked for and what?! I'm am still so confused over that exchange... why would I want to see their tax returns? And why would I be responsible for paying them with my $28 refund? Additionally, 7 months after I paid the vehicle off, I'm still waiting on my gap insurance refund. Waiting waiting waiting. read more

I had a really good experience here. Scott was so friendly and was really upfront and honest and accommodating. I was surprised on what an awesome jeep selection they have! I have already told my friends to check them out because every middle aged person wants a jeep now. I would definitely do business with them again. I didn't feel like I was in a regular dealership. I've always wanted a Jeep Wrangler since I was a kid. My 2017 Mazda 3 was coming to its end and I was tired of driving so low to the ground (winters aren't ever fun). So I was able to trade in my car for a 2018 Jeep Wrangler (hard top)!! He appraised my vehicle for more than I thought it was worth. I used that as my form of downpayment/ trade. This was my first time doing anything like this, since I've never traded in a car for a whole different make and model. I saw the jeep online on his inventory, and was able to test drive it the same day. After just a couple of days, I was approved and drove it off! The process was so simple and not overwhelming at all. There was no BS, no time wasted and no back and forth. I really can't believe how much of an upgrade I was able to get. I bought my vehicle from them a year and a half ago. I needed a vehicle really soon. I found what I wanted but they are an hour and a half from me. My car wouldn't make it there and I asked about delivery. They agreed to deliver and I was grateful. Fast forward to this past month, I moved from NH to MA and the registry required a lletter of delivery from them in order for me to avoid paying a huge sales tax. I reached out on a friday hoping to resolve this before the weekend. Melissa tells me via text that only their "office manager " can help me. She says she will be in on monday, not to mention her texts were very rude. On Monday I call. I am told that this manager isnt in and that she isnt going to harass her like I'm doing to her! She continues to tell me that they aren't willing to give me proof of delivery just in case they can get in trouble. This woman had me in tears! I call their other location and speak to Scott. He proceeded to repeat what she had said , that they delivered the car as a "kindness" to me. Ok I guess they made no money off me, not to mention raising the price 2 grand. I told him that I only called that morning because I was told the manager would be in to help me. He tells me that I shouldnt have bothered Melissa that early. Well I finally got my letter from him, after so much stress and poor treatment. Don't buy from them. They treated me like garbage. read more

I have always been in the market for a Jeep Wrangler and have passed Barnstorm Jeeps for many years and every time I see a jeep I am interested in it is already sold. This time I got lucky and called when I saw one on their website I was interested in. I spoke to Scott, he did tell me someone else was coming to see it but he would get back to me and let me know if it sold or not. He got back to me as promised and before I knew it I was test driving the jeep of my dreams. Scott was very pleasant and walked through everything with me, answered all my crazy questions and made the experience great! I did have a small issue with the jeep a couple days later and I reached out to him and he was more than helpful with it. I would recommend any friend buy a vehicle from Barnstorm.
