She is never on time and keeps you waiting most times at least an hour. Guess my time isn't important and hers. Tells you she will do things and doesn't follow through. Her office staff in the last year has changed and is awful, incompetent, lies about documents being faxed or completed. I wish more people would write reviews about doctors and make them accountable.

He didn't hurry me or placate me with trying me on this or that trial medication. Nor did he start giving me suggestions on other doctors that I should go to based on my health care concerns due to their specialties. So many times I've found that doctors are doctoring to make lots of money or too afraid TO doctor based on restrictions placed on them by insurance or government. I cannot thank this doctor and staff enough for seeing me as a human being just wanting to be well so I can be a better person to other people that are counting on me.

The nurse I saw ranked the worst ever in attitude and questioned why I needed to use the bathroom during the exam. I arrived ready to provide a sample but when she said she didn't need one, I had to TCB. She was aptl absolutely awful. The lab tech who was very experienced and obviously good at her job, was sweating out loud "God damnit" because she rushed through the tests and realized she'd forgot one. Doc was also not on his game today either - forgetful and not well prepared for our appointment. The facility feels old and dingy - it's just not a positive and healthy environment for positive and healthy people. it's really sad that the healthcare system is so bad in this city and state. Thinking it's time to change things up.

At first he seemed willing to help, but over…read moretime he reduced my pain medication 3 times with no concern for how it affected me - he claimed he was required to reduce the medication due to "government regulations"- but never asked if he I needed additional assistance. He NEVER spent more than 2 minutes with me during quarterly visits, never asked how I was managing the pain - his favorite closing remarks were "we'll keep you going" - all the while, my pain got worse, and he could care less !! On my last visit on March 31, 2022, he was not there (he was never there at least 30 % of the time) - I was required to see his new "Physician Assistance" who left me waiting alone in an examination cubical for 1 WHOLE HOUR - neither the PA nor his 2 nurses bothered to check on me! When I complained to the nurses, one simply ignored me the other smirked as if to say "so what." When the PA finally came in to see me, she asked me what medication and dosage I was taking as she could not understand the protocol from my records and chart - after I explained what the regime was, she still got it wrong on her prescription. The repeated apathy shown to me by Hodges and his nurses over the years, topped off by the indifference his staff exhibited to me at my last visit has finally convinced me to find a reputable pain management doctor. If you go to Hodges, don't say you weren't warned.
