Went this morning with my husband to get his stitches removed from his ankle and to get it checked out and the doctor that saw him Dr. Sidney St. Amant was rude and just didn't care to hear anything my husband had to say. He act like he didn't believe a word he was telling him when he tried to explain that they did in fact put him out a whole week for the injury. He made the comment "well I would've sent you back to work the same day". He said this twice! Mind you my husband couldn't even walk around or put weight on his foot the day it happened and the couple days after. My husband tried to ask him a question work related and he cut him off and said " you can do whatever you want". How is this type of attitude professional? He didn't even ask my husband any questions all he did was take a stitch out and tell him that they weren't ready to be taken out and that he would've sent him the work the same day he got the stitches. Not once did he ask my husband if he was in pain still, could move it his foot around, or walk around on it. Unprofessional! Don't care! Rude! We will not be coming back here for anything and will find somewhere else to go that actually cares about the patient!

Very poor communication between the staff & the patient, as well as poor communication between the…read morestaff in the procedure room & the front desk! By the time you wake up from a procedure, you're really drowsy, so you can't remember what was told to you. The staff doesn't communicate with your family member that picks you up, to let them know what has been done to you. Several times, I've been told that I was going to have a certain procedure done before I receive anesthesia, but when I get home & the anesthesia wears off, I read the paper given to me & it says that I had a completely different procedure done. When I call & ask which procedure was actually done to me, I get multiple answers from different staff members! That is not safe, incase something were to happen & the patient would end up having to go to the hospital & they wouldn't know what to tell the doctor as to exactly which procedure was done!! NOT good at all!! On a positive note, whichever procedure the doctor decides to do on me in order to help me feel better, is perfectly fine with me because if it doesn't help me feel completely better the first time, then they simply repeat the procedure a few weeks later until I feel much better & am not in anymore pain for a while.

And I waited over 12 hrs before going get it checked on and what not.. Dr.Drew was AMAZING!!!! He number me stitched me up (missed a few places but went back and numbed those areas before continuing to stitch me) made me as comfortable as he possibly could. They are very gentle there.... this is day 2 after the xpressmed urgent care visit. They called to check on my finger (called the night I left because where a stitch was it was starting to split and was told it was going to) they ask how it feels..(numb because my dog broke the tip of my bone) they ask how the wound looks. They were also asking if I went to the hospital (which I didn't) and were very happy to know I didn't... this may seem odd to some of you but to me these acts of kindness are far beyond their duties. And to me that's very personal. So with all that being said I'm going to recommend to everyone to go there for anything and everything.

Thankfully, this one is on the great service side. I was looking to establish a physician that I can go to when needed, and Dr. Caitlyn McDaniels was recommended to me by a friend. I am more than satisfied with my visit with her! She answered all of my questions, addressed my concerns with genuine concern of her own, and she was absolutely the friendliest doctor I've ever seen.
