So I had a few years ago had an experience with this store that made me decide I probably wouldn't purchase anything from them even if they were the last store open. HOWEVER! I went in a couple of weeks ago to look for a new bed. 4K later I found these guys went over and beyond in making sure I was pleased. From the young lady on the floor to the two young men at delivery, and finally to to the store owner making sure they had done the absolute outmost to make me a happy comeback kid. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this experience was really not good. We looked around the store and found a couch we wanted, a little more expensive than we were originally looking for but we decided to make an exception. We found a worker and told him we wanted the couch. He tells us some features and dissappears in the back. After about 15 minutes of waiting, he comes out and says, "sorry you guys this tag is incorrect. This tag is for a different couch." The lowest they could go on the couch was much more expensive and over budget. It seemed obvious our money was not needed. I love shopping local, and really wanted to purchase this couch. Moved into an unfurnished home and needed furniture ASAP. Walked in and was warmly greeted by the staff. They gave us our space and no one hovered over us. So...here's what we got; A king size bed, 2 nightstands, 4 lamps, a TV stand, 2 recliners, a couch, 2 end tables, a coffee table, an entertainment center, a dinette set, and a bar stool...all for $3000! Because, we bought so many items, they kept knocking down the price. Everything was terrific quality and they even threw in a $100 gift card! Their main place across the street is also nice, albeit much more expensive. Delivery was free and fast! The delivery guys were also awesome. We love our new furniture! read more

We are very satisfied with the service provided by Casey, Eddie and Jeff when our XL twin mattress and box springs were delivered. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were able to get our box spring exchanged for the low profile box spring the very next day. Looks great! Choosing a mattress can be rather overwhelming. What a great place, went in for living room furniture and met with Tiffani. At first we picked out our couch and color of leather that would match the teal leather recliners we had picked out. We also matched up upholstery for a couple bucket swivel chairs. The shopping experience was fun. If there is a piece of furniture you are interested in and you don't see it in the store just ask. They have plenty of catalogs with items they don't display in the store. read more

This place was wonderful! We came in hoping to find a nice bed frame and matching end tables. As soon as we walked to the back, we found a lovely set. The queen bed was $349 and the two end tables totaled $298. After speaking with Steve, he told us all floor models were 10% off. We were pretty impressed and decided we would just go with the bed frame, however, he bundled the two end tables with the bed for 15% off and we were sold. What is nice about this place is that it's in Oregon, so there's no sales tax. I would definitely travel the 30-45 minutes again to get a great deal. We ended up walking out the door with almost a $100 discount. The customer service was great and I didn't feel pressured or hustled. Plus, the furniture felt like decent quality. When we can afford the rest of the set, we will most likely be back! Thanks for an awesome experience. Barron's has two locations and I am a fan of both. If you want to special order or buy some thing that is a high quality then the main store is best. But the warehouse across the street has very competitive pricing on standard furniture. Both are well run and helpful. Parking is great. read more

mr. Michael behnke is one of the nicest, most talented persons in the furniture business I could ever find. although he worked in Lancaster for his dad at frontier furniture on yucca and also for sears as a furniture repairman at 44111 north yucca, his real acumen was in business not in repair, at which he was exceptionally talented. highly personable and in 1957, my stepdad bought his single shot, 12 gauge shotgun from frontier furniture and shot lots of doves with it. cheap to buy and useful for food. I worked for sears delivery for about 24 years and loved the job and mike kept the furniture repaired and touched-up to satisfy our customers. he had an old red ford which I think had a 428 or 429 and he kept in immaculate condition. I've shopped here for years and am always impressed with their customer service. We furnished our house in the area when we bought it in 2005. The furniture is good quality and affordable, and they go out of their way to help in any way they can. Last week, I bought a new recliner for my aging Mom, and Terry was wonderful in assisting me. He was most helpful in discussing my Mom's needs, and we came up with a great result. And, they delivered for free to Gold Beach! It is a great store, with helpful, professional customer service. We found just what we needed at a good price. They delivered it the next day and the staff both in the store and the delivery guys were very nice and helpful. The only complaint I could have was that they delivered it about 30 minutes earlier than they said they would. If we had not been home, that could have been a problem. Bought two recliners and a couch with two built in recliners. All the recliners are to hard to push down with your legs and that is the only way to close them. Guess we should have noticed that when we bought them...bought expensive chairs for our table and it took at least four months to get them, unacceptable...bought a bed and mattress set, they delivered and that night one side of the bed kind of fell and made a huge sound. Called them out...it took a week. They hadn't put the side board in well and that's why it fell. They had to come out three times to make things right. My last and FINAL PURCHASE...ordered two file cabinets, I told them I wanted quality, it took at least two weeks longer to get them than promised and we were so very disappointed in the quality. I half blamed myself for not buying something I could see first. The glides are hard to push, they don't glide. The metal ends of the file sit in wood runners instead of metal pieces that my quality file has and my files would not fit their cabinets. When we first told them they weren't right he said they would pick them up and just call back after the surgical procedure I was about to have. I called back and that person said they would pick them up and said they would call me and tell me when. Then I get a call from them that they were to call us. We re-explained the problems and we were told the cabinets were for legal size and not standard. We were never asked if we wanted standard or legal so you'd think standard would be what we would get. He finally said he would pick them up and charge us 20% restocking fee...for their mistake not ours. We let him know that we would NEVER enter his stores again. We have been so patient every time we had to wait and wait and wait for our stuff when they had our money right away...maybe we should have charged interest! I would look somewhere else. Next time it's Grants Pass and Medford for us. read more
