If there was a zero that's what I would rate my experience with Red River Nissan. I have purchased 10 new cars in my life, 3 from same salesman , always pay cash never had a problem with any dealership. .Without writing a book here's a short version. Dearship refused a loaner or rental while they determined if it was under warranty even though I was supplied one 6 weeks earlier for same basic problem , I had just buried my mom the day prior transportation was needed .To say i was irrate is an understatement. I was told the issue was my fault, and not covered and the cars entire electrical system was shorted out .I contacted corporate explaining the exact issues I was having and was told to take it to another dealership . Long story short this business ran a "scratch off" ad campaign and the one I received read that I had won $5,000. Awesome! So I show up to be told "oh you won a scratch off". Even though they asked for the flyer number, etc. when I called the day prior and was told that I was a winner! After expressing my displeasure with their deceitful ad I was told "oh I'm sorry that you didn't read the entire flyer. Remember it was an invitation not a subpoena." This dealership is the definition of snakes in the grass used car salesman. Letter #1 Yesterday my auto transport carrier came to the Barry Sanders Nissan dealership to pick up the truck I purchased. The truck (2002 Chevy Silverado HD; stock# #######) was not available and had been moved to an Auto Auction Yard in Oklahoma City. I was advised by the transport company of the issue and called Barry Sanders Nissan to inquire as to what the problem was. That"s when I was informed as to the new location. I talked to management and was reassured that the situation would be resolved immediately and that if I wanted the truck returned to Barry Sanders Nissan for pickup they would make sure that happened and any additional expenses or charges would be absorbed by Barry Sanders Nissan. I then asked the sales rep April May to have the truck sent back to Barry Sanders Nissan and advise me as to the timetable for the recovery of the vehicle so I can reassign the auto transport company's pickup and delivery. Will someone coordinate with me on the situation concerning the truck going to auction. I am concerned that the truck may have been tampered with once it left Barry Sanders Nissan's lot. Typically at auction houses, someone will tamper with or disable the vehicle to deter other clients from purchasing. So I am requesting a vehicle inspection to determine if the vehicle is still in driveable condition... Letter #2 Hello the latest situation is I received the truck last night at 10:45 PM mountain time. It was delivered with the factory heavy duty forged aluminum wheels and recently purchased tires (as per carfax) REMOVED and REPLACED with rusted steel wheels and rotted out tires with DOT numbers indicating the year 2002 and 2010. I called Gary the manager but it goes to voicemail. I have photos of the original advertising showing the vehicle with the OEM wheels when I purchased it. I'll send some pics of the current rotted tires and rusted wheels. I WANT THE ORIGINAL WHEELS AND TIRES I PAID FOR AS ADVERTISED. These two emails show what I went through with this lousy company. Went in for the promotion, I was looking for a new vehicle anyway. Same ole scam and bait and switch. Then when I test drove the vehicle, I look at the sticker and it has a $1999 "Market Adjustment." Guess Barry doesn't care if his business is run like a 3 card monte game. Will never give any of my business to them. Got a "free" speaker that only cost $25 to ship. Can you say Ripoff??? read more

We made an APPOINTMENT with them to see a car. They're two hours away from us so we called to confirm when we were leaving and let them know when we'd be there. When we arrived, they had "just sold it"! We had been told this car had been there for two months but it suddenly sold after we drove two hours to buy it? They didn't have any respect for our time and had NO intention on honoring our appointment. I strongly suspect they used that car to lure us there so they could sell us something else. They just shrugged it off and offered to show us something else. If we were just looking to buy any used car, we wouldn't have driven two hours to do it (we have plenty of car lots in OKC!) Since my husband and I both took off early and wasted a four hour round trip, they owe us quite an apology. If they actually had this great deal on a car that hadn't sold in 2 months, and someone just happened to stop by and wanted to look at it, why wouldn't they say "we're happy to show it to you but we do have someone with an appointment to look at it shortly". Typical bird in the hand mentality-I get it-but there is something called honoring your commitments, customer service! I'm absolutely disgusted by the way this whole thing went down. Honestly, don't bother traveling to them based on any internet advertisement they have, they will waste your time! *UPDATE: I actually hadn't read the other review when I wrote this one, but now I have! I hope people don't go by the reviews you read here, I can tell you that they personally have called me four times since I bought my car to see if there's anything I need help with, or if I have any questions. They were attentive, helpful, and professional. They did NOT push me into a car that I didn't need, but let me lead the discussion and make the decision in my own time. I traded in a super nice, clean 2006 Nissan Frontier King Cab for this car advertised for $3920. Found out wks later that the sales price on the contract was $5290, plus they added $2995 for the warranty they failed to tell me I would be paying for. The car broke down completely after the first 2 wks and sat at the VW dealership in my city for a year with them never approving the repair of a new engine even though the engine was under warranty. They registered the car in Oklahoma instead of Arkansas where I lived, so they pushed me to register the car stating they would pay the taxes and would either fix my car or get me another one. They also said they would correct my paperwork, but they needed me to register the car first. I did, but then they stopped pymt on the check for the taxes so they wrote a hot check to the State of Arkansas who is now coming to me for $625. I had made my pymts for 6 months, but after registering the car, they never responded to me again. The car got repossessed a year later, January 2022. They didn't respond to BBB when I filed a complaint. I lost my good truck and got nothing but more debt from this deal with no car at all. They lied about the price,, they lied and said all the problems were fixed,, they lied saying they did a 120 pt inspection,, and they are guilty of breach of contract.. I'm 65 and on disability. Don't even buy into their bs sales talk and check your paperwork. Better yet, go somewhere else. read more

Absolutely not one thing they said was true!! I fell for their bait and switch like an idiot. I scheduled to close on my car on Monday morning because I live an hour and a half away. They knew on Friday I was coming on Monday. They didn't even bother to clean the car out. Food and trash still in it. I had to wait over 2 hours after closing on it. They said I would get $250 sent with the title, and I did not. That was on November 6th, it is now November 29th and still fighting for my $250. I was told all I needed was license and insurance because I didn't have to prove my income. Which didn't matter because I could prove my income. My sales person told me no proof of income not five minutes before I walked into to the finance office only to be asked for my proof of income. No respect for people, or time!! Awful! read more

I found 5 used cars online that I wanted to look at. I asked about the first car and was told it had been sold and they wanted to show me a similar car but more expensive. So, I was honest and told them I am looking at a certain price range, I didn't want to play their car dealer games. Then they are trying to find the cat. Then another guy come over and we are told the transmission is no good in that car. We point out the inconsistencies in the stories and remind them we don't want to play the games. Ask about the other cars. They have 2 of them. The first is filthy. Dash caked with dust, dirty seats and carpet. Are they trying to sell a car or no? The next car seems to be okay and we start thinking maybe we are going to be able to make a deal, but nope it starts chugging when we test drive. So, we decide to move on. Worst possible experience of my life. Test drove the vehicle on a Thursday night. Told the dealership I would be back on Saturday. Spoke with 2 employees of the dealership Saturday morning and told them I was coming to purchase the vehicle and they assured me the vehicle was still available. I sold my personal vehicle and made the 1 hour drive to Ardmore. When I arrived at the dealership I was told the vehicle was not there, then that is was on a test drive. I was made to wait in a corner for 20 minutes, was still being lied to then another salesmen came up and told me they had sold the vehicle. So there I was with no vehicle to purchase and I had sold my personal vehicle. Will never go back to this dealership and will tell everyone I know not to buy a vehicle there. When they thought I was going to spend $30,000 I was treated like royalty, when they screwed up and sold it to someone else I was left to stand in a corner for over 30 minutes and ignored. read more
