The "law" requiring masks is unconstitutional and it is unfair of the store to penalize those with asthma or allergies who can't breathe well with constricted airflow. Again, it's a private enterprise and they can do what they want, but I just wanted to let anyone who values our liberties and preventing government overreach know. Because I needed to buy the same bulb as my other headlight went out last week. Not sure why light bulbs don't last long these days. Before my first visit at this AutoZone, I went to Walmart searching and found found what I needed. But they don't have anyone paying attention to their customers. I got on the internet and found AutoZone in Chinatown. I love the Zone for all of my auto accessories need. I had a choice of another AutoZone near my house. But I choose this store because of huge parking lot and much friendlier traffic. My question to the store clerk, "can I bring the light bulb back if it doesn't work?" Answer was, no. He recommended me to have the car checked by auto mechanic for electrical connections. Because it could be something other than just light bulb. So, I took a chance to buy one bulb. Now, I regretted I should had bought 2 bulbs.

I had normal and friendly interactions with most of the staff here. Except mark. Mark is an elderly employee who seems to think he's a mechanic. After I was sold a faulty remanufactured alternator (happens wasn't too worried) I went to return it. And settled on getting a brand new one to save some hassle, well the expert Mark sold me another faulty alternator. So after having already spent time and money to uber myself back up there to return and replace it once again. Mark decides and I quote "it's your car not our product, I don't feel right selling YOU another product if you're just going to return it" so after a brief but respectful argument and his coworker Maria stepping in to mediate. I let mark know his job is to sell car parts. Not play diagnoses hero. And end up buying a brand new one out of pocket again because mark refused to refund the faulty product he sold me and also refused to get a manager. I ended up taking the part and vehicle to Universal Auto Mechanics shop and they kindly let me know it was yet another bad product. Luckily they decided to just sell me a new alternator directly and I returned marks faulty product again to the store manager. I have receipts with dates and times and marks name on it, he was rude and slightly racist. As much as I'd like to get an apology getting mark investigated and or fired is fine by me as well. So we give them good ratings. And they're not too far from Chinatown and some of the places we eat, so very convenient. Definitely a very useful store, and they are friendly and they had the exact part that we needed. So we appreciate that and for that reason I will definitely come back to them in future - especially when I'm over this part of town. It's a chain, but a good one.

The store clearly states that it requires everyone to wear a mask and to stay socially distanced. I was disappointed to find that one employee didn't wear a mask the entire time. Also, we watched three customers walk in without masks on. Not a single employee said anything and that was disappointing. I really hope they will start to enforce their company's mask and socially distancing policies.
