I came in for a battery replacement and when I came back to pick up my phone they gave me a screen replacement also (I did not request that). Which in order to get my phone back I had to pay an additional $150 on top of the $87 from the battery replacement. The reason they decided to get me a screen replacement was because of water damage?? My phone had no signs of water damage before. I just needed a battery replacement because it's a 4 year old phone. Anyways, I needed my phone back so I had no choice. The following days I experienced my phone lagging and buttons pressing on their own. My phone then started to shut off and restart every 5 mins. I'm afraid it's not just not going to turn back on at some point. I asked if there's anything they can do about it. Maybe a refund or store credit? Of course, the answer was no. I just feel cheated out $200 and I have to buy a brand new phone (iPhones aren't cheap either). I can appreciate the employees for trying their best to fix my phone but I do feel like the store manager didn't even care or bother to fix the situation. Rebuilding batteries is no longer done, however Bubba can and does many other types of mechanical work such as brake pads, tune ups, and much more. The shop is old and sometimes crowded but don't let that fool you, Bubba does excellent work and he's fair and honest and that's what really counts. I know a man that has a Lexus and Bubba has done the work on that Lexus for quite a few years. My car was in recently for new brake pads and I could not have been more pleased with any part of that transaction. I do not hesitate to recommend Jones Battery Shop to anyone.

The first place only told me where the two sites that had my needed battery in stock. So, I showed up to the second place, this one. They were unaware I was on my way and what was needed. My understanding the process should have been the first place should call and confirm the second site had the required battery and what was going to be expected. They had not. This group told me when I brought my phone in for another batter after a year that they would put one in, but that it would not help. Technology was exceeding the ability for my older iPhone processor and battery to keep up and what I really needed to do was upgrade my phone. They could have just stuck another battery in it and sent me on my way. Their integrity on this issue supports my reasons for going there for the years we have moved to the Denton Area.
