The staff here was…read morerude, arrogant, and ignored any request for antidepresent medications, refused to make an appointment, slandered me to my insurance pharmacy, and told Dr. Meigs lies about me. My medical records were FAX'd to the wrong number 3 times. When I was finally able to get the staff to verify the fax number and the clinic finally received the referral, the staff called the clinic and told them I no longer wanted to be seen. It took from Aug. 10th to Nov. 29th to be seen by a much needed doctor. The clinic has constantly denied any of this. I wouldn't trust them or Dr. Meigs with the time of day. I believe there are reasons for this clinic remaining an independent clinic. They have messed up my medical records so bad that I am having trouble finding a new PCP.

My friend has prostate cancer and this doctor simply sent him a letter telling him that he won't see him anymore with no explanation. He had the further nerve to post this letter to my friends online chart, presumably to help other doctors blacklist him. The real problem? My friend wanted to see the doctor when he did not have an official appointment. Most Doctors do want to help find cures and/or help heal. This one apparently only wants patients who don't have any major problems.

Like Honey, like most of the office staff. Hate their Phreesia system. It's possibly one step up…read morefrom smoke signals. The good: plenty of medical professionals to choose from, the lab is there, and there's on site physical therapy, with a great team. The bad: Wait times, even with their new 15 minutes before appt check in, can still take a while, and there's no reception in the office so you need their wifi. The ugly: Phreesia. If I didn't love seeing Honey and Ashely in the PT office, I would go elsehwere. Their medical scheduling software, portal, reminder system, all that is hands down the most useless thing in existence. Despite having two folks look at it, I get a call, an email, and a text message, one right after the other, to check in for my appointment. Two people have tried twice to get it to only do 1 of those 3, but it won't take. You can't schedule online. If you try, you'll be there for an hour, checking day by day by day for an appointment that doesn't exist, according to the system. If you call in, they'll find you the first available, and often Phreesia will tell you it's not. And that's with your preferred provider. The patient portal is slow and clunky, takes forever to load, won't let you change things, and half the time, if you reply to a message, it doesn't go through. It errors out, then you're supposed to screen shot it, make a NEW message, attach the image, and send it to the person you were simply trying to reply to. That way they can send it to IT and get it fixed. I get it happens to not everyone, but that seems like a lot of work around. And lastly, the check in process online is fairly smooth, it's more bad than ugly, except thaT Phreesia wants to gather information for more streamlined suggestions for healthcare. I.E. They want to collect your info and sell it. If you say yes, the little window goes away for a year. If you say no, it comes up every time you check in. I left a message with IT to see if they can fix it, but I'm not hopeful.

Well, at first I really liked the NP I was assigned to. She's one of those people everyone seems…read moreto like. Initially, I just wanted to resume my regimen from my retired PCP, but this NP (Kate) was enthusiastic and encouraged me to advance my care and wellness. She really wanted me on Cymbalta. That should have been a red flag. I agreed and let the commercial drug geld me under its influence. It had a minor impact to my upper back pain but my deep pain, major spasms and teeth grinding worsened. More diagnostics were obtain and severe cervical spinal degeneration was found, but my neck is a secondary pain after my thoracic spine. Kate refused to order the thoracic MRI because the pain clinic might want to order it with a contrast agent. Ultimately she referred me to several other places, 3 of which were accepted - an acupuncturist, a pain management clinic and a neurologist. I complied with these. She prescribed me a mild analgesic. I adhered to the script and it helped. I thanked Kate. Then she completely changed and started wagging her finger at me about using the analgesic - AS DIRECTED. Unbelievable. Since then I've been treated like a criminal for pursuing pain treatment, which is much worse when the pain medication is then taken away. Thanks, Kate. The landscapes of Modern Medicine and Healthcare are treacherous wastelands. Anyone who can memorize enough text to earn a paper credential is knighted with letters after their name nowadays that in the end, mean squat. Don't go to Kate at NW Primary Care, even though she's very cheerful and nice.

I have been a patient at Baskin Clinic for 11 years and have always been pleased and impressed with…read morethe high level of personalized care, expertise and professionalism (also kindness and respect) that I have received over the years. Dr. Heather is a very skilled physician and I also know she CARES... Rebecca is extremely good at lab work; she is able to draw my blood on the very first try, which is just short of a miracle. (The last time I was at the hospital an ultrasound specialist had to be called in special to use it to find my very tiny veins, and Rebecca can do it on the first try!) I trust Baskin Clinic with my life and look forward to a lifetime of excellent care from a highly qualified clinic. Thank you Dr. Heather and all of Baskin Clinic. I feel very blessed to have them on my side for my medical needs Baskin Clinic is the BEST...

The one who I read had openings was not my first choice, so I was led to believe that another doctor, whose online bio appealed to me, would be shown the form I filled out and I'd get a response. So, I never got a response. I called in June to remind her and was told "the doctor was on vacation" blah blah blah. She promised she would show the doctor my inquiry and I'd hear back either way. This didn't happen. That conversation was on June 5th and it is now over a month later. I give up on this practice. How can you be offering "concierge" medicine which is supposed to devote extra time to patients and completely ignore a potential new patient who is willing to jump in and pay the practice MONTHLY whether being seen or not? Ugh.
