When the band took a break and the prerecorded music was playing, it was much more enjoyable. We went outside a few times just to get away from the blaring drummer and finally ended up sitting downstairs until the cruise was over as it was more quiet. The service team was quick to respond and ordered my part. Communication was good as they kept me informed of when the part would arrive and when my boat would be ready. I paid for the services and parts, picked up my boat, and brought it home. Thats when the problems started. Without getting into the details, there was some type of error with the service performed which exacerbated my problem. I had to bring it back to Sunrise to have them resolve this new issue. Unfortunately, the part was on backorder however they kept me in the loop on the progress. This waterfront location has a huge rental space that can easily accommodate about 250 people...maybe more. Our party was only about 150 people and there was plenty of room for us to move around, dance and play games in addition to sitting at tables for dinner. We had eighteen 10-person tables and we could have added many more tables in the space. Also, outside the lodge there is a boat launch and a covered area with picnic tables and grills. The rental hall includes a large, attached, fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator and freezer space. There is a huge fireplace, 15 ceiling fans inside and ceiling fans outside on the porch. There are restrooms inside and outside. This is a really nice location. It's hidden among mature trees that surround a lake and the lodge/park is easily accessible from interstate 65 and highway 43.
