More concerning, I was asked to pay based on incomplete, placeholder estimates before critical items like CA Form 592-B credits and depreciation were finalized. On top of that, I was required to sign a liability waiver before they would even proceed--essentially shifting all risk to the client. He lied to us about filing for an extension and took forms from my mother that he never returned.
