The best batting cages around. I've been going here for about 8 years now. They have a larger cage that creates a mock field which is perfect for fielding grounders and having a team practice. When I was younger, my travel team would rent that area and have great practices where we could have an infield and get balls during the winter. There are many regular hitting cages too. They have nets for front toss, a mat for a batters box with a plate, and softball/ baseball pitching machines. I am pretty sure they have tees and bats if you need to borrow for a session. It's a perfect cage for a fun afternoon with friends, teaching a private lesson, or getting some reps when the weather isn't favorable. Baseball Plus has its own parking lot and also has a store. You can buy top notch equipment here including baseball/softball gloves, bats, cleats, helmets, other gear, and basically any other accessory you can think of! Even after travel ball, I still come to the cages to hit. I would recommend calling to reserve a cage during busy hours such as weekends nights on weekdays. The workers are so friendly and remember their usual cage-goers. Nothing beats the friendly atmosphere of this place! read more

I've been coming here for years and can definitely say that this one of my favorite batting cages. The staff is great and they have tons of cages available that you can use with or without pitching machines. The machines go up to 60 mph. You have to feed the machine but you get a protective net so its pretty safe. You can also come here for T ball if you have young children. We usually pay $30 for a single half hour session, but I believe you can buy packages/bundles which will make each individual session cheaper. You can buy bats, gloves, helmets, balls, or anything else you might need. Great place! read more

Found this place on Yelp when looking for something fun to do with my 23 yr old daughter...what a find! Right off of wantagh parkway, easy. We reserved a half hour slot and got there a few minutes early (12/29). The guy helping us was very nice, got us right in, showed us the easy set up of the softball pitch machine and said if we needed some extra swings, not to worry as there was an open slot behind us as of now. Great customer service as that made us relax and not watch the clock every few minutes. We did get in a few extra swings and had a great time, lots of fun. And had the same young man give us a cheerful professional thank you on the way out. I would definitely recommend !! read more

Having want to visit a batting cage for a long while, i finally found this spot that is quite decent for the money. The place looks small from the outside, but once inside, many nets with self-pitching machines makes this place seem big. The staff is friendly and helpful. We purchased a softball glove for my daughter here last Thursday and at her first game with it on Saturday the lacing broke in the pocket. Back to Baseball Plus to exchange it. I'm told this is unusual and he's never seen this happen and apologizes. I told him not his fault and I don't blame him. Unfortunately, they don't have it in stock in the store and they don't have it in their warehouse and she has a game that day so I agree to exchange for a less expensive glove. When I ask what he'd like to do about the $10 difference I'm told that he can't give me my money back. Store policy. He can give me a credit. That's crap! To help break the glove in for her game tonight he oils the glove and puts it in his steam cabinet for five minutes. From then on, all I hear about is how he's doing me a favor by steaming it and he usually charges $15 for that. Blah, blah, blah... I told him to give me a $5 softball and we're even for the difference in the gloves and continue to hear about the favor he did me. Could have turned a chance to really win a customer to leaving a bad taste in my mouth. The ten minutes and few sprays of oil it took to start breaking in the glove could have made a customer of 12 year old girl playing A LOT of softball. Too bad. read more

Bad business. That is all I can say. I thought they were super friendly until I made my return. I returned 2 helmets that were too big and visor sunglasses that fit inside of a catcher's mask. They claimed that the sunglasses were not in the box with the helmets. Then the girl proceeded to tell me that they do not accept returns for sunglasses! WHAT? Insult enough that they insinuated that I was not telling the truth... then to tell me the visor sunglasses are not returnable.... what kind of east coast business is this? I told the girl I would never deal with them again.... she could have cared less. Really... I said you do not want my business in the future? She was silent. Baseball + Business owners - you had better train your staff better. I sent this business an email to call me if they want the opportunity to retain me as a customer.... time will tell if they do call me. read more

Baseball Plus is great. Awesome place to workout in the winter at any time from 2-9 pm. $48 for a cage per hour? You can't beat that. Get a bunch of your teammates and split the cost. Comes out to like $4 each and you get so many swings compared to a regular batting cage. This place is by far my favorite indoor spot. read more

We purchased an expensive Easton bat from them 1 month ago. My son was taking batting practice and the bat broke. We brought the bat back to Baseball Plus and their response was to call Easton and see if they will exchange it. Then they went on to tell me that this bat is having a lot of trouble. Then why did you try to sell it to me. Baseball Plus is the direct buyer from Easton. They should have honored a return or allowed me the opportunity to exchange it for another. It's a shame, I wanted to support the privately owned store but the big box store would have allowed me a return or exchange. Won't be back! read more

Purchased a $200.00 Marucci wood baseball bat at 6pm friday, used the bat at 8pm. The bat cracked and gouged after one use, clearly defective! At 11am the next morning 17 hours later, I brought the bat back. They said it was clearly defective but refused to do anything about it because it was used. I now have to deal with the company which should be the responsibility of Baseball Plus, since they are the ones selling the bat. I have to purchase another bat (from a different place obviously), lay out another $200, bad business practice, bad customer service = BAD REVIEW do not purchase anything of significance from this company ever because once you open it, they will NOT stand by their promise. read more

Do not let the outside deceive you! Loved this batting cage! It is $48 for an hour. They have fast pitch and slow pitch. You need someone to feed the balls because it is not automatic. Such a great ambience and fun thing to do with friends! Well worth the money. read more

So I am very upset with this business. I bought a demarini Razyr which I was told was double wall aluminum which is what I asked for. It turns out it is lined inside with composite which makes it illegal in my league. I removed the plastic from the barrel but never used the bat. It's spotless and I was Tom they couldn't e change for something that I could use. When I told them that it was for a volunteer firefighter league they told me who cares let the Fd pay for it. No. I laid out the money and am being screwed. I informed them that I would but a new bat ever year for this team and that I coach 13 kids who have parents that need to buy equipment. I was told if I didn't shop there anymore they don't care because there would be 13 more kids to replace them. Don't worry I'm going to try and keep people away. It's sad that when I mentioned being from the community and trying to shop local and not big business they were unaffected !!! I won't go back unless they honor my purchase. I even offers to trade for a bat o significant less value and pay a restocking fee. I wish this never happened because I really like to support locals but feel like they're too arrogant to care about the customer. Times sure have changed ! read more

I wanted a Easton pro glove for a long time and just so happened the one that I found is discontinued everywhere. Nicole did everything she could to find it even direct from Easton. I had no luck. But what she did for me was great. She offered another glove of the same quality and said she would ship it out to asap.
