The current was rushing with the winds direction and even the gulls could not compensate to pick out the hunks of Italian bread we frisbee-ed in, Lord how they tried. Two distinguishing tall gated areas - being under 30 pounds and to the left, the over 30 pounded which is a wide range but the park didn't set up for excessive headlong running, so high impact mid park collisions seemed to not be likely. The cutest senior Beagle approached me as I let Phil go and greet which he wanted no part of and it wasn't registering as to why. My further entry in was all on hold, the Beagles eyes never left mine as I lovingly stroked him. But Phil was having issues with two puffed out electrified cotton balls with paws that yipped and yapped in his mug without letting up. His owner was engaged in chit chat, not realizie that his dogs are about to get turned and twisted inside out any moment. In point of fact, just about no dog owners were looking at anything but themselves, so it was about to pop, I could feel it, Phil liked nothing about this park, so we went for the exit. The release knob allows for easy access in, horrible access out and my 6'2 long armed frame struggled to get the release knob pulled because it's on the entrance side. Of course the guy with the puff balls from hell comes right up to the gate in an attempt to leave at the same moment! Clearly a covid dog owner - no sense of potential problems no concept of other peoples dogs and there are just so many of you out there now. And after I managed to get the hell away from there, I spun around to see the sweetest thing, the senior beagle followed me out of the two gates and into the parking lot. His owner was very sweet and collected that love dog. Gosh, that little fellow really made my day and I'll reflect upon him often, but the park -- and the owners -- I'll prefer to forget.

Grew up coming to this park to play basketball straight after highschool sometimes with friends…read more There's not much change with the basketball courts since then and a lot of the paint has worn off but people still frequent it. It seems the rest of the park's activities have been upgraded though, such as the kids' apparatus, new and fresh pickleball courts, clean tennis courts and such. The structure of the park is organized and great for the large space. On hot days, there's plenty of shade with trees. The public pool here is large and fun! There is bugs often just as fyi and you need to look online to make sure it's open. There's so much to do here with the different activities!!! Cant wait to see more improvements!!

We played doubles, and my partner and I won the game against the other two players. Points are scored only when the serving team wins a rally, and I am a good server. I learned fast how to make the ball hit the court in front the blue line, which is known as the kitchen. Elvis, the head coach, was thorough in his explanation of the fundamentals of the game. We practiced our skills with our peers, getting feedback from the coach that was assigned to our court. There was a coach for each of the eight courts, and each court had four players. I learned the rules of the game and how to score. The goal is to keep the ball out of the kitchen. You can only volley outside the kitchen. The class lasted approximately two hours, and we all had fun. I will definitely be back to take more classes. Anything I imagine I can do it here, and I can get very creative with working out. From suicides on the field, sprinting up and down the bleachers, running laps (forward & backwards; must try), sit-ups, pushups, etc etc. After all that, I can kick the soccer ball around for extra cardio. Burning calories is easily done here, and getting burnt from the sun is just as easy here, too.

Didn't notice it until the last minute but that was a really cool touch. First off, the staff here is so friendly and very easy going. We've gone here once a year ago and it was still just as fun! We had 9 adults, 3 kids, and 1 baby. Everyone had a blast doing mini golf and target paintball. Great price as well and they take a card. They had about 6 picnic tables so there was plenty of seating for everyone and one table for serving the food. The birthday boy was so happy with everything! Also, I'd recommend bringing bug spray since the flies are attracted to Mott's Creek by the mini golf.
