He asks if I can wait as he starts to work on my stuff with a smile. I have never seen this nor experienced this before." Cory you are a natural and really, genuinely connect with everyone. I am humbled and absolutely just so very, very grateful for you once again taking the time and talking to me and finding out about my history, feet anatomy and specific needs as I came in on May 14th for 2 pairs of athletic shoes - one for racquetball and the other for everyday wear. Ray Ray was the " abnormal" kid born with six toes on each foot( still got them) with five toes being fused together on the left foot causing just a few issues with walking, running and balancing the first 39 months of my awesome life. This is the first time in my life that someone( ie Cory) really had the patience, the care, the ear and the know how to help me. He brought up three pairs based on my size 12 and a 1/2 extra extra wide feet and the first two were perfect- fit, feel, color, comfort, mobility - everything!!! Cory once again delivered magnificently. 3 weeks later - June 5th, 2021 - Capitol City World Outdoor Racquetball Championship, Herndon, Virginia - won the gold in the Men's 3 Wall A Division Doubles. Unfortunately, the entire experience is ruined by the store manager, Ryan Maloney. He is, without a doubt, the worst part of this store--clueless, unprofessional, and completely unfit for his role. as a manager, you'd expect him to have at least a basic understanding of the products, yet he seems to know absolutely nothing. Ask him a question about any type of gear, and you'll either get a completely incorrect answer or some bizarre, unhelpful remark that makes you wonder if he even knows what's in his own store. While other employees go out of their way to assist customers, Ryan seems more interested in making everything more difficult. to make matters worse, his demeanor is just plain uncomfortable. Instead of being professional and customer-friendly, he makes weird, off-putting comments that leave you wondering if he's deliberately trying to confuse or irritate people. What really crossed the line was when he made unsettling remarks toward both me and my son. Rather than focusing on helping us find what we needed, he seemed more interested in making awkward, unnecessary comments that had nothing to do with our shopping experience. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. on top of all that, he doesn't even seem capable of managing basic store operations. At one point, he actually pulled one of his employees away from helping another customer just so they could assist him with something--completely disregarding the fact that the customer had been waiting for help. Instead of leading by example, he comes off as lazy, unorganized, and completely out of his depth. and his appearance--because if you're expecting a manager who looks even remotely presentable, you're out of luck. Ryan strolls around the store in cheap Walmart sweatpants like he just rolled out of bed. It's honestly a shame because the rest of the staff here are great--they know their stuff, they're friendly, and they actually care about customer service. But with Ryan Maloney in charge, the entire store suffers. If Monkey Sports wants to maintain its reputation, they should seriously reconsider who they have running the place. Until then, I'd highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

LOL I knew I'd have a better experience than my daughter recently had Dick's Sporting Goods with low inventory of tennis racquets and nonexistent staff (not even considering their level of knowledge). I visited Topspin yesterday (Saturday) afternoon and met Bill Levin (owner) who was friendly and knowledgeable about tennis racquets. He asked me a few questions about my daughter to estimate the proper grip size. He suggested a few entry level full graphite racquets (prestrung) and told me that if I purchased one (before removing the tags and use) I should take a picture of my daughter's grip on the racquet and send it to his personal mobile phone to review. If it's not the proper size grip I could bring the racquet in and exchange. I purchased the Babolat 2020 Boost A W Prestrung Tennis Racquet in Black, Pink and White color. I took the picture of my daughter gripping the tennis racquet and Bill promptly responded with, "Perfect," so I felt comfortable with the sizing. When you shop for skates you will regret it if you just take your shoe size and purchase the skate of matching size. Or (worst of all) purchase online based on price. You should be fitted by someone experienced. They will look at your foot, your ankles, how often you skate and recommend a brand, fit and boot stiffness that is appropriate for your needs. And they will match other prices.
