View of kitchen and dining inside the casita.

A clean, well-organized, well-run camp/glamping/tiny house/small RV park. The website is accurate- describes the site and amenities exactly as they are in person. We received a helpful text on the morning of check-in with detailed parking information and the code to enter our tiny house "casita." The casita was immaculate, clean, and cool. A kitchen with propane-driven stovetop, microwave, full-sized fridge and freezer. Plenty of kitchenware and place settings / glassware setup for two. Nice "rattan-look" blinds on every window. Window air conditioning unit kept everything cool on our 90-degree arrival day. The windows open (no screens) which made for a pleasant morning. A sturdy 7-step ladder reached up to the loft to the bed. Lots of outlets in the unit and the wifi signal was great. The clubhouse is very clean and very pretty. The coffee is very good- fresh brewed not pods. Recycling containers available in unit and in Many RVs seem to be setup for longer term use and the park was very quiet. No one was sitting outside their space partying or playing music late night which was a relief. The glamping tents were off to the edge of the property, and those looked really nice as well. I'd like to try one of those on a future visit.

My husband and I booked 2 nights at Basecamp 550 in late June. We had a great experience. The contactless check-in was on point. Our "Glamping Tent" (#2) was awesome. We had been on the road camping with our rooftop tent, so sleeping in a real bed was perfect. The tent came with a heater (which we did not use). We slept with all the flaps open and enjoyed the cold nights? It dipped down into the 40s. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows felt like the tempurpedic style, which provided good neck support. The showers & bathrooms were clean and exactly as described. It was nice to have a hot shower. The laundry room has new high capacity washers & dryers. The cost for 1 load to wash was $4, and for the dryer, it goes in 5 minute increments for $.25.  We did not use the bunkhouse  for cooking but we did visit. It looks exactly like the pictures.  We would definitely book another stay.

Gorgeous location. We stayed in a Glamping tent. The accommodations are wonderful! Beautifully outfitted and every need considered-fridge, microwave, snacks, fan, space heater and THE most comfortable bed. And, amazingly...drum roll...the bed is HEATED. Front porch seating looks out over the mountains. The bathroom is so clean. The floor literally sparkles. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. Easy access to so many things to do. If you are in the Ridgway/Ouray area, check it out.

My friend from college and I stayed here for 3 nights and it had so much to offer. Contactless check in, comfortable bed, fans and heaters, personal fireplace/mini fridge/microwave, and a GREAT view of the mountains and sunset. The bbq area was kept well, and the bathrooms and showers were updated and clean. They provided towels, cleaning supplies, cards, bottle openers. Everyone was friendly and happy to be there. We are used to camping in a tent, but the glamping exceeded our expectations. Management was available 24/7. The towns near Basecamp also had lots to offer. Tasty food, breweries, music, hikes, lots of entertainment. We can not recommend this place enough! We will absolutely be back!

    Glamping Tent!

THE BEST SPOT IN OURAY! If you are visiting/ traveling or planning a trip to Ouray this is the spot to go! We stayed in the Glamping Tent which had everything we needed and OMG THE VIEWS! The service / staff here are some of the nicest, laid back people. We really have enjoyed staying here and will be sad to leave!

Because we had booked so late, for our four night stay, we were in three different spots 70, 58 and 60. All were very good, but 70-72 are the best with wider spots. Definitely worth the extra cost. We were contacted by email and text as we got closer to our trip, giving us general check in instructions and what to expect, which I appreciated. We arrived after the office closed, but check in was easy with a packet waiting for us just outside the office. This park is well maintained with beautiful scenery and is surprisingly quiet. There were several campsites with dogs, but the owners were good about keeping them quiet. My husband and I walked the park when it cooled down in the evenings and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We even made some new friends who we hope will cross paths with in the future. There is a general store within walking distance stocked with basic non perishable items. The highlight of our stay here was our prime rib dinner at the Ouray Cafe and Restaurant located on the edge of the park. It's a must stop if you're here! We didn't go to the hot spring, but it's a close walk from the park, as is downtown Ouray. This was a great first trip for us and we'll be returning!

Our pull-thru, FHU site #41, was 80 ft long, spacious, had a manicured grassy area and tree for shade next to us. Our site was gravel and level. Every window in our RV provided a spectacular view of mountains, sunrises, and sunsets. The indoor recreation room provided a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for us to play board games, work on a puzzle, or just have some privacy. All the facilities were impeccably clean and well-maintained as were the grounds thanks to terrific onsite managers, Charlie and Cynthia. They were always working to improve the property, even on their days off, and were very accommodating and friendly. This is a pet-friendly RV park with wide walking areas for pets and a fenced field for larger dogs to run freely. The pond, which will eventually be stocked with fish, is still in the development stage. There are plans to have a grassy area with picnic tables and seating by the pond with a view of the mountains and sunset. The park offers onsite propane for your convenience and is open year-round. We found that Centennial RV Park, directly off Hwy CO 550, is a great basecamp to visit the Million Dollar Highway, Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, the Grand Mesa, Ouray, Ridgway, Telluride, and Montrose. Most were within an hour's drive or less. We have stayed at over a hundred RV parks, but we rate Centennial RV Park in our top three!

I could inform you that this is the most stunning and well laid out campground that I have visited but that would just lead you staying there and leaving me stay somewhere else. All kidding aside THIS PLACE IS GORGEOUS, CLEAN, STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL, QUIET, FULL UTILITIES AND WELL LAID OUT. It's everything you would dream of in a Colorado Glamping experience.
