    Burn hole on bedspread
    Sonya C.

This was my first and last time staying at this horrible hotel! I should've known something wasn't right when I saw the outside of it, and it looked run down. However, when I saw my room, on the surface, it looked nice and modern. However, when I arrived to my room later that night, I discovered a burn hole right through my bedspread, a dirty refrigerator with someone's milk left in it, filthy bathroom floors, and white towels with stains on them that I refused to use! They also failed to clean my room even though I had the maid service door tag left on my

Down side was the TV extremely slow to change channels and or adjust volume. I like the fact I can stream some apps but that was very slow to non existent. I notified the front desk and they said it's a known issue. Suggested I bring down the remote for new batteries. I did no improvement. Now for the biggest disappointment. The hotel seemed sold out and only one elevator I recall a staff member saying it's been out for weeks. Huge disappointment I waited 10 min for a car and even went to the front desk again to be told it's a known issue. Breakfast again I believe a full house the breakfast items example waffles were out back on our. I asked an associate she did mention it's coming. It never came I waited several min. Hotel is clean however staff fell short and I believe did not live up to the Marriott standards

The room was huge. Fairly quiet too…read more The location was great if you didn't need to go into Seattle often. The traffic into Seattle is horrible night and day. The pool is ok but the Hot tub was old didn't get too Hot and disappointing after walking a lot it would have been great to sit in. I also gave it four stats because the handle to the sink was broken off. It was a hassle and you think they would know that? They have a full Breakfast every morning which is nice. Coffee and water in the lobby all day. Their Cable TV only worked a little bit so that got old quickly. It just seems like if they paid more attention to the small details it would have been great.

Let me start by saying I have stayed at BWP for over 25 years now, it is my topic for a hotel,…read moreuntil this last weekend, AND it will be my last time ever using a BW if this issue cannot be resolved. I called August 20, Thursday morning from Helena Montana to BWP in Puyallup Washington. I spoke to a young lady on the phone and asked if they would have availability and that we were driving from Helena Montana and it's going to be a 14 Hour drive over, and that we are going to need a place to stay. We had already pre-reserved a hotel for the 21st and the 22nd. However, we didn't know what time we were going to be there on Thursday, so we wanted to check in when we got there.  It took us 14 hours to drive straight. We arrived at 4 AM to the BWP in Washington. When we arrived the lady was very nice however, she said there are no check-ins after a certain time and that we need to come back at 11 AM when our check-in time is for the 21st. I explained to her that I had spoken to someone, and they told us that they'd have availability and allow us to check in, and she said there's nothing she can do but to try to come back at 7 AM and speak with someone.  So, that is exactly what I did. I went and slept in my car with my two dogs and my husband for three hours and went back in at 7 AM. I begged for them to make an exception, that we would even pay for another night. The manager knew I was coming, and would not even make eye contact with me, barely! I could tell that she really did not want to make an exception for me, but did anyways which I was extremely thankful for! BUT, she did make it a point to inform me that the hotel policies typically don't allow this sort of situation to happen but For us they were going to let us check in a few hours early. And believe me, I was beyond thankful that they could just bill us and we could get into the room because we were so tired. Well then, each morning when we woke up I would notice an ant, here or there, in the room, even a couple of ants down on the counter where breakfast was served. We did not think anything of it and it was not a big deal. We're from Montana. However, it wasn't until Sunday morning the room was INFESTED, and that is an understatement. The ants were everywhere, the floors, the bathroom tub and toilet, the beds, the towels. Pictures below and I have videos that won't post on here.  The third issue was they have a very small pet area, which is fine. However, in that pet area was a half smoked joint of some kind, and a vape pen cartridge out there with who knows what, and those items remained out there the entire time we were visiting and if anybody knows anything about THC and animals, is if they get any contact with it, it could kill them because they cannot process it the same as humans can.  Lastly, I thought it was very trashy for the cleaning crew to set out a TON of cleaning supplies, like a bunch of buckets with rags, and cleaning supplies, and all kinds of things outside of our room waiting for us to check out on Sunday morning. It was embarrassing to us like where are some kinds of pigs or something???  I felt very unwanted there every time I asked a question, and felt like I was the biggest disturbance in the world for trying to pay for an extra night or pay for check-in early, and also like we kind of were treated like trash! All that being said, I tried to give the hotel a chance to rectify the situation and they were absolutely unconcerned by what I had to say, the guy at the front desk did not even look up at me once, had no interest in looking at the photos or videos. not even an apology or anything, so i handed him my key card and left. I know these problems may not be the desk people; however, these ARE issues and SOMEONE has to be responsible for this.  Because of this experience, I would like BWP to make it right! Otherwise, I will have no choice but to never use BW again and I will also never be recommending BW to anybody I know, and I plan on reviewing everywhere I can think of this situation so no one else has to experience this and feel what I felt leaving there. It seemed as if it boiled down to laziness, lack of cleanliness, lack of respect and carelessness. Please BW make this right. The Hotel was under Jason Rand from August 20 to the 22nd. You can step up for BW staff and put in the effort to find our information and get into contact with Jason or I and make this right. If made right I will be more than happy to give BW another chance, however, never will I stay at this specific one in Puyallup ever again!!! Sincerely, Sharon Cicero

It was only down the street from the Washington State Fair Center which I was attending for a convention. It was conveniently only a 5-minute walk. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice, and they provided free breakfast as well. Only docked one star because there is no soundproofing, and there was one night where I could not sleep because of neighboring renters were being too out throughout the night. I wouldn't mind having to stay here again if I needed to.

You also apparently get discounted for booking with chatgpt which I didn't know was possible but I would absolutely not trust it. Speaking of, my friend booked on the website normally and they somehow cancelled our reservation. Lady at the front desk was working super hard to fix it to get us a room. She was really kind and awesome. Back to the breakfast, we go up to the front where it is to meet a sign saying that breakfast was cancelled for today. No one in the room. It's the check-in/out counter. How do you just not have anyone there at 7:30am? People need to check out. Someone didnt come until 8 so everyone was just waiting. The workers here are great but that doesn't make up for shitty higher up management. They'll quit and work somewhere else but the same lazy people run this place. Would avoid coming here if possible.

I complained nonstop. It took them a week to move me to a new room. In this time, a housekeeper commented, "weren't that the room with all them cats?" YUP, IT SURE WAS. 2. When I first arrived, the building was almost entirely occupied by Puyallup fair employees. CARNIES. Enough said. 3. I found a magazine for a .380 in the parking lot a night after I thought I heard gunshots. I handed it to the girl at the front desk and said, "uh, someone left their magazine in the parking lot." I don't know what kind of Section 8 trickery this place is pulling, but there are entire families living in these 150 sq ft sadness cubes. I'm paying about $1400/month. I don't imagine Bobby Sue and her 5 kids would a) be able to drop that kind of cash or b) choose to live in a sadness cube over an actual apartment, particularly way out here, where you can probably find one for like $600/month, if something shady wasn't going on. In short, if you're a drug addled carnie, this is the place for you. OH! One plus. The front desk staff is very nice, and really tries to help.

It even included a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, and an actual stovetop, which made it feel much more like an apartment than a typical hotel room. The laundry facilities were also clean and well maintained. You really can't beat the price either. At just over $500 a week, it's significantly more affordable than most other places in the area. The only potential downside I noticed was that there seemed to be several people living in vehicles, tents, and RVs in the hotel parking lot. During the week and a half I stayed there, I saw multiple families with young children who appeared to be living there, with the kids often playing basketball in the parking lot throughout the day and into the evening. It wasn't particularly bothersome to me, but I did find myself feeling concerned for the children. That said, I don't know their circumstances, so I don't want to make assumptions. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying here again.
