Mrs Frechette , and Mrs Raaf left supplies and treats at our door during quarantine. We just thought that was so thoughtful and kind. We love how the school encourages kindness and mindfulness. Its helps to remind kids that academics are important but so is being a good person. We're so grateful for the resources this school has. Our daughter started speech this year and has already made improvements. They even come home and talk about Mr Stanley (the custodian) and how kind he is. Great family environment!

Graduated from Perry in 2019 and now my little cousins go here. They have been telling me how bad…read morethe bullying had gotten since I left. My little cousins are getting called racial slurs and even to the point of being physically abused. We went to the front administration and they pretty much said don't worry we will take care of it and that was it. Fast forward a few months now my cousin is coming home with headaches because kids at Perry decided it was a good idea to throw rocks and other objects at my cousin. This crossed the line. Perry high only did anything to this bully ( Henry Whitt ) because we got police involved now. Shame on you Perry high. This is suppose to be a safe environment where our kids can come and learn but no. This place has turned to a nightmare for many kids that dread going to school because of all the bully's. I guess perry high supports bullying on their campus now..... such a shame. Don't send your kids here unless you want them to go through the same thing.

Admin is useless and incredibly dismissive to parents and students alike. Condescending is not a strong enough word for Robin Massey who is a counselor and incredibly manipulative towards the kids. The Principle Mr. Romero is just like Massey and has a freshman in the football team with a mouth. Of course he is 1st string and never in trouble. The double standard is obnoxious, along the well to do kids who are above any rules. No parent involvement, and a lack of consistency for Teachers. Some are great and other are reckless. I regret choosing Hamilton but here we are. I would just like to say....Hamilton didnt learn anything from there 2015 to 2019 public Hazing Scandal because hazing is still going on but verbally. I have reported this and of course nothing was done. I will be keeping a running log and then I am going to present all of my evidence to the District. Its sad that I dont trust Admin or some of the teachers and I have to email, take notes, have a meeting etc because of the issues going on. Hopefully Hamilton makes a change so things will be better in the future but as of right now....not a shot in hell this is a good experience!

Hamilton is Arizona's largest high school and is in the Chandler Unified District. Several of my family members have attended here and so I have been around campus a lot. Hamilton HS has been awarded an A+ School of Excellence award by the Arizona Education Foundation on a few occasions. My review is mostly for the football games. Hamilton Huskies are usually one of the top teams in the state and have a some state titles under their belt. Former ASU and NFL player Terrell Suggs played for the Huskies. The games are fun and I enjoy hanging out with other friends and family that have kids here.

I…read morespent my Jr High years at Athlos thinking I wouldn't like it because of the uniforms and well since it was a Charter school. I had gone to public school for all of my life before then and all of my friends were going to Santan and Bogle, but my mother wanted me to have the experience of going to a charter school. I was upset with her at first but later realized, it was the absolutely best thing shed ever done for me. Athlos isn't just a school you go to to learn. It's a school where everyone excepts you for who you are. The teachers treat you like friends and they actually CARE. In my past years in public schools I never experienced such an awesome bond with my teachers. After two weeks in Athlos I felt right at home and by the time I was in 8th grade I was dreading the last few months because I didn't want a new beginning in highschool. I believe that the amount of homework Athlos gave per student was fair. All they were trying to do was prepare us for high school.... Some kids say Athlos was a terrible school but when I would ask them why they thought that, they had no answers. Truth is, Athlos is AMAZING. You are respected by all teachers, kids and all staff. Education was great, they prepared me for high school and I truly appreciate that... Being a former student from Athlos was, as I said, an amazing journey. After two years with amazing kids, I was able to be apart of the 2013-2014 Athlos 8th grade family. To this day and on I know I can rely on them for everything. I am proud to call myself a Titan and always will be. I recommend this school to all who are looking for a new beginning and a memorable ending.:)

We checked out several schools in the area and decided to send our son to Legacy based off of the ratings and conversation that we had with the legacy office staff. One thing that we liked was the advertised focus on academics and the students wearing uniforms. Unfortunately the focus on academics is severely lacking! The ongoing communication between the teachers and parents is nonexistent, unless the parents contact the teachers. The amount of emails that you receive daily pertaining to PTO, Sports ,and fundraising is overly abundant. I wish one of those emails would have been about my child failing a class before we found out on the progress report. Lastly there is the dreaded drop off and pick up "Drive Lines!"... This drive line is INSANE!! There was definitely a design flaw when planning out the parking lot and vehicle pathways. Legacy doesn't offer school bus service so you are subjected to this scrimmage amongst other parents to enter the 20min drive line. Overall this school just didn't live up to "As Advertised."

They have given great thought to making sure that the parents are involved in every single assignment and preparing for tests. If your child drops a grade level you are notified via the school application, email and phone call. Parents, gone are the days of asking your children do you have homework? What assignments are due? Because you can now look that up. We have a white boards in the hallway with the assignments and when they're due and how much grade is weighted on each one. There are no more surprises of I didn't know this was due. All of the teachers are insightful and dedicated. Some are a bit dry, some are a little stiff but overall if they weren't good at their job they wouldn't be there. I get the feeling that the Higley School district does not embrace a teacher's tenure over their quality. All of the teachers offer tutoring you just have to work around their schedule. The school has many clubs and sports for young people to get involved in. The homecoming football game that I attended the kids were well-behaved respectful and had a wonderful time. We chose this one because we believed it would help our son, an only child, develop social skills and build relationships with other children. The advertised advanced curriculum also appealed to us, and we trusted the institution to deliver on its promises. Initially, everything seemed great. We loved his teacher, Ms. Jules, who was exceptional. She helped our child stay focused and engaged. Unfortunately, she eventually left due to issues with the administration, which was deeply disappointing. She was replaced by another teacher, who, in my opinion, is unqualified and lacks the necessary pedagogical training. This teacher had no authority over the children and failed to manage them effectively. Soon after, my child's behavior changed drastically. He began mimicking negative behaviors like spitting, kicking, and scratching--things he clearly learned from the environment at the kindergarten. It was shocking because these behaviors were entirely new and inconsistent with how he was raised at home. Instead of addressing these issues constructively, the teacher and the deputy director resorted to blaming my child for his "terrible behavior." Their approach was appalling. They subjected my son to what I can only describe as moral harassment. When I addressed these issues in writing, they ignored my concerns and continued to single out my child. He became withdrawn and tearful, refusing to talk about what was happening at school. Daily messages from the teacher accused my son of hitting, kicking, or spitting, even though he denied these incidents at home--and at 3.5 years old, it's hard for him to lie convincingly. Adding to the frustration, whenever I asked about injuries on my son's face, the staff's response was always, "No one saw anything." It seemed that they only noticed my son's actions when he tried to defend himself. The situation escalated further when the teacher and director resorted to punitive measures, such as taking my son to the office for "explanatory conversations." It's unacceptable for adults to try to reason with a 3.5-year-old in this way, especially when it's clear he was already under immense stress. Instead of helping, they made matters worse. One Friday, after enduring another day of this mistreatment, my son was so emotionally drained that he fell asleep on my lap and slept for 13 hours straight. This level of exhaustion and stress is heartbreaking and entirely unacceptable for a child. Things continued to deteriorate over the next few weeks. Every day brought new accusations about my son's behavior, which only made it clearer that this environment was toxic for him. We finally decided to withdraw him from the kindergarten. Although their policy required a two-week notice, the administration insisted we remove him immediately, further demonstrating their unwillingness to work with parents or prioritize the well-being of the child. We enrolled our son as a happy, well-mannered child, and we left with a child who was distressed, misbehaving, and mimicking the inappropriate actions he learned at Premier Learning Academy. Another shocking observation was how poorly the children were cared for during nap time. The kids were made to sleep in their shoes, which is both unhygienic and uncomfortable. If a child didn't want to sleep, they were forced to lie down and wait. Unlike Ms. Jules, who used to engage with non-sleeping children through activities like drawing or reading, this teacher simply ignored them, often spending time on her phone instead of providing care. This review is long because the level of unprofessionalism, negligence, and bullying--towards both my child and myself as a parent--was staggering. Advice: Stay far away from this kindergarten. While the decision is yours, I wouldn't wish our experience on anyone.
