I had to go to CVS down the road. Walgreens didn't fax over the Rx for 2 hours after the CVS pharmacy called them. Dang. I usually love Walgreens pharmacies (I travel a lot) and this has been the worst by far.

Many pharmacies will offer a short emergency refill while waiting for a doctor to approve a new prescription, but this location seems to deny those requests almost every time. That leaves patients stuck without medication while waiting for paperwork to move through the system. Between the long lines, slow service, and lack of flexibility with medication continuity, it's been a very frustrating experience. If you rely on consistent medication access, be aware that delays here could easily leave you waiting several days without what you need. I genuinely hope Walgreens invests in more staffing and better support for this pharmacy, because the current situation makes it very difficult for us patients. Oh, and don't bother trying to call-in because I've been on hold on average for 45 minutes. It's been this way for months and there has not been any changes.
