I finally decided it was time to stop being nervous and actually go to the range. After reading the reviews, I decided to check this place out, and I'm really glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I told them it was my first time at the range, and they took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and help me get set up. That made a huge difference because walking into a range as a newbie can feel a little intimidating. Once I got to my lane, I was only there for about 30 minutes, but I enjoyed every minute of it. My confidence definitely grew, and I left feeling way more comfortable than when I walked in. Overall, great first experience. Friendly staff, helpful guidance, and a welcoming environment for beginners. I'm looking forward to coming back for more practice -- and this time, I promise I won't wait another two years.

We all know, purchases / transfers in California are difficult and wrought with bureaucracy & nonsense. This shop, makes it simple and easy for you to get it done. In addition, they have a very nice indoor range with a VERY wide multitude of rental firearms. Aside from the good customer service & cool indoor range, they had an incredibly wide variety of stock for sale. I noticed they had VERY fair prices, like some firearms were easily $100-125 less a piece than the FUDD gun shops here in (510) Alameda County. I would say the top highlight of this gun shop was the lack of FUDD. I experienced & saw / heard zero FUDD nonsense. Just straight up good, solid, friendly customer service & plenty of great products to choose from. It's also noteworthy that they had a really good inventory of ammo for reasonable pricing. I have held my CCW for 10 years and, during that time, have attended several courses taught by…read moremultiple instructors. Without question, this has been the most informative, well-structured, and comprehensive CCW class I have attended to date. Theo is an exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated instructor. He takes the time to explain every aspect of the course in detail and, more importantly, incorporates real-world scenarios that encourage everyone in the class to participate and think critically. Rather than simply providing an answer, Theo allows the class to work through scenarios together before explaining the correct response and the reasoning behind it. That approach made the material much more engaging and meaningful. The range portion of the course was equally impressive. We were taught not only the standards required for a CCW qualification, but also given insight into what a real-world defensive situation might actually look like. Safety was clearly the highest priority throughout the entire range session. I felt completely confident having Theo actively present and attentive while shooters were live-firing. He was constantly observing, immediately identifying potential mistakes, and stepping in when necessary to prevent unsafe actions. What stood out to me most was his hands-on approach. At many other facilities, instructors tend to coach from a distance. Theo was right beside the shooter, providing immediate feedback--not only pointing out areas that needed improvement, but also recognizing and reinforcing what we were doing correctly. That level of personal instruction made a significant difference in the quality of the training and in my confidence as a student. After 10 years of CCW experience and training with multiple instructors, I can honestly say that I have found my new go-to instructor. I will absolutely be referring Theo and his courses to anyone who is serious about responsible firearms ownership, personal protection, and being prepared to defend themselves and their loved ones. These guys are basically giving knowledge & time away for free. If you are on the fence because of the low price, don't hesitate.
