This was the nearest auto parts store, so I pulled in, and was pleasantly surprised how neat and clean and well-organized this place is. And a friendly greeting from the guy behind the counter to boot. Bought the wiper, and when offered to have it installed - yes, please! So out we went, into the cold, wet night. Shame on me for not getting his name, but the guy was having a hard time getting the new wiper to snap in, so he went back inside to get another thingie. (Sorry. Don't know what it actually was.) Problem solved, and I was on my way, safely able to see through a clean windshield. Excellent service!

He not only explained the differences of the fluid choices, he actually put it in the reservoir for me ( I couldn't find the button to open the hood - I know, I know - in my defense, it's a fairly new car lol ). Leo also noticed my coolant was nearing the low line... we went back into the store and he found the correct coolant, showed me where to fill it and most importantly, WHEN to do it. Thank you Leo, I followed your instructions and glad I stopped, seeing the temps are dropping into the single digits , I feel you saved me from a possible disaster.

He advised me that must be from the prior service managers, which I knew was a lie based on the dates of the review, unless they just changed within the last 10 days. I thought I may have needed a new battery, so I asked if I could get a diagnostic test, I was advised NO without an appointment. Well, because I feel I'm a mechanic, I said okay I'll just buy a battery. I was advised they could put it in. Was told wouldn't take long, but it took over an hour. Maybe I'm just inpatient, but I thought an hour was long. The person helping me was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the battery obviously wasn't my problem, as I still have the same issue, so to the dealer I go. They also didnt know the car needed to reset after replacing the battery, so in the parking, like I had to google how to reset. Lessons learned. 1. Im not a mechanic. 2- Some things you just need to stick with the dealer. I'm not sure about pricing, but it cost me 250.00 for the battery and installation. I'm hoping that was a reasonable deal.

After an hour I approached the gentleman who checked me in and was told my truck hadn't even been pulled into the bay yet . I asked when would it be pulled in and how much longer would the wait be ? He responded he would go ask and NEVER left his seat !! Upset by this , I called my husband and told him what was occurring . While talking , another lady overheard and offered to pull the truck in to have it serviced . This resulted in another 45 minute wait just to be told I "needed to purchase a new tire" . Erik went out of his way to help me select the batteries and then even installed the batteries and retested the whole system to insure everything was working properly. This happened on Sunday, Aug. 25th, 2024 and he made the time to do this when the store was also very busy. He made sure that the other customers were serviced and also took great care of me as he could. Great example of a good retail manager who provides great customer service...Thanks Erik.

And he never acknowledged me or the now three other customers waiting for an employee to help us. When an older man came into the main store area, I asked him if he was going to help us? He said something snarky and went about his ignoring us. I then made the choice to leave the store. Good News: the second store that I went to was "night and day" better.
