I brought in a floor-length bridesmaid dress be hemmed tea length. I had my shoes and everything, but I had received the dress late so we only had two weeks before the wedding. The tailor said it was no problem and went on fitting and pinning. A week later, it was done -- yay! It wasn't until all the bridesmaids put on their dresses that I realized that mine was at my ankles whilst theirs were all mid-calf. Not a huge disaster, just disappointing.
