My disappointment comes from his referral to Schmidy's Machinery for the purchase of my bucket truck. The owner of Schmidy's is a liar selling dangerous trucks to un-suspecting customers. You can find his reviews on Yelp as well. Once I made Todd aware of what I had learned of Schmidy's he seemed surprised and very concerned but still advertises on Schmidy's ad page in the equipment trader. I later learned of others who told me they had also been referred by Todd to Schmidy's prior to my purchase. It seems Todd shouldn't have been so surprised. With a little research I found Schmidy's has multiple lawsuits for selling crap equipment. I also made Todd aware of this. I would steer clear of anyone who has the knowledge Todd Mickey has and still does business with vendors like Schmidy's, much less recommending customers to him for trucks.

I have been a State Farm client for many, many years but only two years with Cory's office. I have been treated respectfully and promptly by both him and his office staff and I have been more than pleased with his services. He has always given me honest, helpful advice and been prompt with insurance matters, and return phone calls. I would recommend Cory and the State Farm Insurance office in Ephrata, WA without hesitation. I am sure they are not as cheap as Nationwide, and he spent a lot of time on how to market insurance products. When I did finally call him after many years of junk mail, a gentlemen named Gabriel answered and I gave him my contact information because he was not available to speak to me about an insurance quote and since Gabriel was not a licensed insurance broker he could not help me then. Later in the afternoon I called and another "just an employee who works here", answered but also told me that Mr. Pickerel was more interested in attending a Rotary Club Meeting than giving out insurance quotes during my lunch hour, the only time I can take a minute to shop around for car, home, rv, rental, and boat insurance. Methinks not because customer service doesn't appear to be the highest priority at the Pickerel Company!
