Saw some souvenirs for Westport right next to the candy shop, which was convenient. Anyhow, after checking some stuff out, decided to buy Chocolate Caramel Popcorn, 4 Cans of Energy drinks for $1.99 each and a bag of Taffy. After getting back to the hotel room, tried out each of the items I bought. Here are the ratings: Energy drink - 4/5 Popcorn - 2/5: I don't know if the popcorn was too old or sitting there a while on the shelf, but it tasted stale, and too stuck on each other. Was so difficult to eat! Flavor was alright. Taffy - 4/5: Tasted pretty good. Wasn't anything special, but liked it.

Lots of fun touristy souvenirs and their candy shop has lots of choices, including a jaw breaker bigger than my hobbity sized hand. They have silly souvenirs and of course stuff for the beach like sweatshirts and sling bags, which you'll need at some of the beaches because they're pretty windy and cold. I'll be back with some senior citizens next month, so this will definitely be one of our stops.

Kites no longer cost 20¢ for a Jolly Roger - but they are now made of a sturdy light-weight fabric and flexible plastic sticks instead of balsa wood. If you come to beach and want to go fly a kite, drop in here! This is a family-owned business that's been in Westport for over 20 years.
