The service could be better I went to buy ice cream early before 5 pm, very hot inside seems like they have an AC problem. Unbearable even the ice cream looks melty. I'll give my business to the other Baskin at Avenida de los Árboles.

This visit left a Bad Taste! I grew up going to different Baskin-Robbins locations, and this experience was very strange and not fun at all: * Prices have risen--almost $10 for a shake. * We asked for two shakes to be thick, like a shake should be. * Both arrived runny. * When I asked for mine to be thicker, the employee became upset: * No returns, exchanges, or remakes. * Remake was only offered if I paid again. * Shake was remade the same way anyway, ignoring my request. * Customer service felt unhelpful and unnecessarily confrontational. * I also called the store number: * It went to voicemail. * I then received a text asking, "Who's this?" I don't want to argue about ice cream, but paying this much and not getting it made the right way is disappointing. The experience overall was confusing and frustrating, and it certainly doesn't feel like the fun, welcoming place I remember. There are so many other places to go. Maybe 31 Flavors is outdated.

I came in with my daughter because I had heard this location was bringing back Family Night, and I was so excited to see the big Family Night poster in the window when we arrived! The sign advertised $3 scoops, and at the bottom it mentioned that you just have to mention the promotion before paying--which is exactly what I did. The employee who helped us at the register, Celeste, was incredibly sweet and friendly. I ordered a single scoop for my daughter, and since the deal was so great, I decided to treat myself to a mangonada. Both were delicious and exceeded my expectations! We had such a great experience. The service was excellent, the treats were amazing, and the Family Night deal made our visit even better. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

My son and I came in today to grab a scoop of ice cream. After we pay we sit down and see a promotion on the window that states every Tuesday from 5-10 pm regular scoops and children scoops are $3. I inquire about the deal and they state I had to mention the promotion before I paid. It doesn't state that anywhere on the sign and it's not a coupon, it's a promo they are running, shouldn't it be automatic? Just seems shady to me. So I paid 12 for 2 scoops instead of 6. I won't be returning. read more

Very disappointing experience here so bad. The staff seems so uninterested in helping out customers even though it was not busy today in the morning. So hot inside the ice cream looks like its melting, did not taste fresh. The shop was not clean very sticky tables. I hope they improve I will not be returning. read more

The employee and manager are gaslighters and liars. Here's the story: We have the app and went there on the 31st for a 31% discount for their special. The employee rang us up but we were in a hurry and didn't think we were required to use the app and paid. The sour faced employee said nothing. Only when we were in the car did we realize we paid full price. We went back in and explained that we had the app and would like to get the discount back. I mentioned that we were told nothing about needing to use the app before being charged. The employee looked me on the eye and lied. She actually tried to gaslight me and said she told me that she asked for the app QR code for the discount! I asked to speak with the manager. She gestured to a very young man next to her. He stood firm and said we needed to scan the code before being rung up and that "it's been this way for 6 months", and that the sign SAYS you have to use the QR code for a discount. Here is a picture of their sign, and NOWHERE does it say you need the app. There is only a phone at the bottom that says "download our app for more sweet treats". SO the manager is a gaslighter and a liar too. I will never return to this place and probably will never have BR again. It's best to find a vendor that doesn't treat their customers like idiots. Like Handel's. Google it. read more

Like many who grew up in California, Baskin Robbins seems like it's always been part of the scene. We almost take it for granted. This location is store number 8,000! That suggests that the company must be doing something right. We were nearby for a Yelp Event and wanted a little something sweet to wrap up the night. We were already parked in the plaza's parking lot, so finding a spot was handled. We were greeted upon entering; always a nice way to start a visit. They do offer free samples. They've always offered several ices (naturally non-dairy), like watermelon ice, daiquiri ice, or other rotating flavors. Those are especially refreshing on a hot summer's day or night. They also have a few non-dairy creamy choices. I had a Non-Dairy Mint ChocoChunk that was incredibly smooth and creamy, and packed with flavor. The only down side was that they were out of cookie cones that evening. Supply chain issues?? One of the employees was super cheerful and offered an elevated experience of serving frozen desserts. I paired it with lemon sorbet. It was a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. It was warm enough to sit out on their side patio and just relax for a while. I remarked to DH that I miss all the plants that the previous business owner had kept out on the patio for atmosphere. The current iteration is clean, but on the boring side. We love their food, so I'm overlooking the lack of ambiance for now. That being said, DH and I have been discussing recently how much we miss the kinds of places that used to have great style in their decor. Theme restaurants are more rare these days than they ought to be. I'm sorry for our kids and grandkids that they don't get to experience more of those kinds of visually interesting kinds of places without having to go to a theme park. This is the first place I ever had a chance to try the espresso ice cream, which is ice cream with a shot of espresso, and it was delicious, especially as a coffee lover and ice cream lover. Kids devoured all their ice cream, which is rare for them to do. They also serve food here, which we did not get to try but is good to know is an option. They have tables everywhere and a fountain machine and some unique teas I got to try, like their lavender tea! This was beautiful and so amazing. I can't wait to come back and grab another ice cream espresso from here and maybe try one of their sandwiches. Yum!

That being said, DH and I have been discussing recently how much we miss the kinds of places that used to have great style in their decor. We just purchased a cookie ice cream cake that cost $45.99. We just cut into the cake and there is barely any ice cream in it. When I called to talk to the manager he said everyone knows there's only small circles of ice cream. I asked if he made customers aware of that and he said yes. Well they didn't tell us. This location is located inside the gas station and I was helped right away. I ordered a large Mango Gelati (way too big, but I was missing my old home city). I love the way the mango ice melds with the custard and makes it really tasty. If I am up in Thousand Oaks again, I'll have to visit again!

Cause and effect - after JoAnn's closed in the adjacent shopping plaza, I've been coming over to…read morethis area much less frequently than I used to. As a result, Dear Hubby and I haven't been close by to Little Calf to remember to stop in for quite a while. Recently, though, after a nearby medical appointment I felt like some non-dairy ice cream. It was a Saturday in the mid-afternoon, and they weren't very crowded, which worked out great for us. They always have at least four options for frozen "ice cream" without the cows' milk dairy. Having just been through an MRI test, I decided to treat myself to a small sundae. Hadn't had one in ages! Their hot fudge is outstanding! Just the hit of chocolately goodness I was craving. I paired it with lemon sorbet. It was a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. It was warm enough to sit out on their side patio and just relax for a while. I remarked to DH that I miss all the plants that the previous business owner had kept out on the patio for atmosphere. The current iteration is clean, but on the boring side. We love their food, so I'm overlooking the lack of ambiance for now. That being said, DH and I have been discussing recently how much we miss the kinds of places that used to have great style in their decor. Theme restaurants are more rare these days than they ought to be. I'm sorry for our kids and grandkids that they don't get to experience more of those kinds of visually interesting kinds of places without having to go to a theme park. I definitely enjoyed my small sundae as a wind-down from the whole MRI experience!

I live in the San Fernando Valley, and this little gem of a place is worth the drive…read more They got little cute cow jokes and decor all around the store, and the vibe just feels so lively and fun and cute, and kids automatically love all the decor and cow stuff everywhere in the store. They got a variety of ice creams, some common ones but also some new ones. This is the first place I ever had a chance to try the espresso ice cream, which is ice cream with a shot of espresso, and it was delicious, especially as a coffee lover and ice cream lover. Kids devoured all their ice cream, which is rare for them to do. They also serve food here, which we did not get to try but is good to know is an option. They have tables everywhere and a fountain machine and some unique teas I got to try, like their lavender tea! This was beautiful and so amazing. I can't wait to come back and grab another ice cream espresso from here and maybe try one of their sandwiches. Yum!

I spotted Sues candy and the plethora of candy drew me in…read more Once I walked in I realized that they have EVERYTHING! You want Godiva, they have it. Licorice, they have that, the biggest collection of Pezshki I have ever seen and Pringles if you want flavors I didn't even know they made! They have those yummy Violet candy, , mints, chocolate, candy from your childhood... all of it! What a great trip down memory lane and beautiful energy.! Sues is such a warm and welcoming experience, Paul greeted us and made suggestions was kind and helpful.. better yet, you are supporting a locally owned small business.. they have other locations, check them out.
