I just went back and gave this store a another look, We were greeted right as we entered. We were treated very nicely, and professionally. It was definitely not the experience we had the last time. Our order was ready, beautifully decorated, and tasted AMAZING. I never had a problem with the food. So maybe it was a rush to judge, but it really was how my husband and I felt at the time. I do believe that everyone deserves a 2nd chance! And wow did they exceed at theirs! Thank you! 1st off you'll see I NEVER write a bad review. I only come on this site to praise staff, or the item. On May 12th my husband went in to pick-up his phoned in ahead order. He was already upset with the staff, because he had ordered my Fav for Mother's Day, and was told when ordering they'd need an extra day to write on the pie"Happy Mother's Day". He said fine. Imagine his surprise when he picked it up, and he saw what looked like a price tag/or gift tag made out of the worst tasting chocolate,maybe at the most 5", with Happy Mother's Day on it and stuck in the whip cream like an after thought. He came home and was so upset, he showed it tome early. He got major credit for remembering, and he said please call, or write a review! That ridiculous, that's what would take an extra whole day. It doesn't even have your name on it, I tried to understand it was Mother's Day, but that's what took them 24 hours extra to do? Top it off they were not the nicest when he went to get it. read more

Staff seem very inconvenienced and stressed by the presence of a few people. Milk shakes are more milk than anything. And their ice cream scoop sizes are very small for what they charge. Literally any other place is better. read more

So I haven been going to this Baskin-Robbins for 10 years now and this is the first and last time I'll have a bad experience here. So when we moved to the area about 10 years ago we started going to this Baskin-Robbins, my first experience here was with Elaine. She was so sweet. So I have a customized specific order due to the fact that my husband wants his ice cream made a certain way. So we get essentially a banana royale but instead of doing the two small scoops, I do three upgraded large scoops pay for the large upgraded container that it comes in and the larger scoops been that way the whole time I've been going to this particular basket and Robbins and other ones in the surrounding area. So never once has anybody ever argued with me they looked at me kind of weird but then I tell them I don't mind paying the extra charge. I'm fully aware that there will be an extra charge, but this is the way that my husband likes it so I want it done that specific way to please the fact that we get Baskins and watch a show. So the only person that had a problem with this order was the manager DJ today. She was arguing with me about how she can't do that. It has to be in separate containers. I have to basically put it together when I get home and that's not what I wanna do and she was upset with me because I told her I willing to pay the extra charge and she said they can't make these accommodations for this specific order. So at this point because I was treated so rudely and due to DJ's poor customer service I will not be going back to Baskin Robbins. read more

Ice cream is as good as any Baskin Robbins, but the employees sets this one apart. They let my kids sample with friendly attitudes and are always helpful. Today, my wife left her iPhone there and a customer turned it in. The staff was awesome & honest, holding the phone for us until we picked it up later that evening. There are lots of folks that would have taken the phone and ran, but we were fortunate to stumble upon honest customers and great employees. And yes, I tipped when we ate there and left another (larger) tip after getting the phone back. Karma people! Thx again BR! read more

I just feel sorry for the sole teenager working behind the counter with her two, rude, terrible adult coworkers. She was cheerful and nice but you could tell her jaded, dead inside employees couldn't care less. Furthermore, they walked away from the counter once my girlfriend had reached it with the ice cream the teenager made so that they could resume gossiping while one of them scratched at her fresh, obnoxious arm tattoo (nothing against tattoos but something about that wasn't very cool). The only thing that prevented a one-star here was the nice girl who was single-handedly trying to maintain a cheerful atmosphere. I hope she finds better employment fast where she can be more appreciated! read more

The workers there said they couldn't do anything about because the person that builds the cake already left. No discount or voucher provided to somewhat amend their mistake. I rarely ever give a low score when I do a review, but If there were a zero star, this is what I would give Baskin Robbins in this location. I took my little girl in there to order a birthday Oreo ice cream cake. The day of the of party, I had my dad pick up the cake since I was super busy with the party. When he brought it home, it was the wrong cake. They gave us a celebration cake instead of Oreo cookie cake. I quickly called them and they said I ordered it online so that's why I have the wrong cake. I told them I took my daughter there to pick out the cake herself I did not order it online. Than the girl on the phone raised her voice at me & said, no you ordered the Oreo ice cream, not the Oreo cookie cake. She proceeded saying that it was my fault that I didn't check the receipt. (The receipt said, Oreo cookie cake). We got into an argument for quite some time because she blamed me for their mess up! She finally said "what do you want me to do about this?" I said, I just want the right cake my daughter picked out. She said she would have it ready in 10 minutes. An hour later, she texted me a picture of 2 cakes and said for my daughter to pick out another one. So we did. I sent someone to pick up the cake and they told this person he was supposed to return the wrong cake or pay for the new cake. Little to my knowledge I was supposed to pay for another cake they messed up on nor did I know I was supposed to send back the wrong one. I should have gotten my money back!! Baskin Robbins finally gave the cake to my friend almost hour later as the birthday girl and guests were all waiting on the cake. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to this location nor will I be buying ice cream from baskin Robbins if I can help it. Their competitor Brooks is just a block away and that is where I will be taking my kids every week this summer for ice cream from now on. read more

So me and my spouse always go here for their blasts and shakes when we go. One of the employees has remembered our orders to the T (sauce, toppings, size, etc.). A lot of people nowadays don't put much effort in much of anything especially their work ethic but this guy goes above and beyond and that is really awesome to see. It's really nice to have someone who actually seems to be having a good time while at work as well as respectful and courteous. The ice cream is great, but the staff makes me never want to come here. They are so clueless and rude. I have always gotten a free cone for my birthday- pretty much since I was a child. It is something you sign up for on the Baskin Robbins website and they email you a coupon. Two years in a row, I have brought in my coupon and the person behind the counter didn't know what it was. They made no attempt to find out what to do with it and pretty much told me that I would have to pay. So apparently they never do birthday scoops at this store? Another time I came in to get my husband a cookie sandwich, I told the guy behind the counter what type of cookie and which ice cream, but he was flirting with the girl making sandwiches and picked up the wrong cookie AND wrong ice cream. I tried to stop him and he brushed me off and said "yeah yeah, we are talking about work-related stuff". I told him again that he had the wrong cookie, and he said "its ok".. brought it to me and I told him for the third time that it was not correct, and that I had been trying to stop him as he was making it. Thankfully someone smarter intervened and helped me out, but then she walked away and the flirty girl came to help me out. She handed me the cookie sandwich, melty and dripping. I asked her to put it to go and she rolled her eyes, sighed, put it in a cup and threw it on the counter. I asked for a bag and she threw a closed bag at me and walked away. I wanted to throw it back because it was so rude, but I had already paid so I just left. I'm sorry that it's so inconvenient to help customers. This is why I never patronize this baskin robbins locations and always take my business across the street to brachs where I am always served with a smile. We've gone here a few times and have always had excellent service and generous portions. I've seen some extremely rude customers in there (one time a guy reached over, whistled, and snapped his fingers in front of the girl behind the counters face), and they've always been super polite and helpful, even when they would have had every excuse in the world to be rude. read more

I really hate this because I've always loved BR but this one here in Yuba City just sucks. I'm really disappointed as this is the only BR in Yuba City. We went to Baskin Robins in Yuba City and got cheated on our ice cream. I got a two scoop sundae and it seemed like the scoops were so small and hollow inside. My husband had the same experience on his banana split small scoops hollow on the inside. In the last four visits we have also been charged different prices and we always order the same thing. In the last four visits we only got served a good amount just once. Hardly worth the 9 dollars we paid for both ice creams. I was so disappointed I don't think I will be going there anymore. I think I will go to Brocks instead. At least you get your monies worth over there. read more

I went into your Yuba City, CA store on 9/28/16 @ 4:45 - 5:45 PM. I was helped by Chris. I asked for a pint of pumpkin. While he was filling it appeared he wasn't packing it into the container. But I wasn't watching him the entire time. I paid & left. When I got outside I opened the container. It was about an 3/4 beneath the fill line, not the top of the container but the fill line. I went back inside & Edith helped me, she had black curly hair & was heavy set. She located the fill line for me. I explained the situation. She immediately accused me of eating the ice cream down. I was insulted. I merely wanted what I paid for. She argued w/ me about eating the pumpkin & interrogated me about my actions & time line since leaving! She was defiant, rude, argumentative, treated me like I was trying to thieve a scoop of ice cream! I said I would notify her manager and she defiantly announced his office hours as if to throw down the gauntlet! Demeanor of a fist-fighter and uncouth! Totally absurd behavior over a scoop of ice cream. What she saw as to the eating down was that I had pushed the ice cream down into the bucket to see how much more air room was in container. The Chris kid had just not done a very good job of packing the ice cream down; this was Chris's job in the first place! Had she bothered to give me a moment to tell her this I would have but she automatically went to Defcon 1. Took the tub over to her cohorts they whispered as if it were state secrets being exchanged. Gave me dirty looks as if I were a terrorist. It was the most absurd exchange I had never thought I would have in and ice cream store. read more
