Total rip-off!! Super small portion sizes . I paid eight dollars for this tiny container of ice cream! Crazy! To top it all off, their bathrooms have been out of order for the past four years! I'm sure there is some sort of a health code violation there by not allowing customers to use a restroom.

This spot is a DREAM! They have a nice variety of flavors, even some unique ones that you won't find easily elsewhere. The ice cream is creamy, but not to the point that it melts quickly. They give generous scoops (priced at about $4 each). Their scoops are probably ranking almost double the normal scoop size. They have indoor and outdoor seating, although limited. With that being said, you shouldn't have an issue getting a seat because it seems that most guests have their ice cream takeout. The spot is very lowkey and casual. There's beautiful artwork and murals around the inside. You can tell it was a business created with love. Something to note is that they do not do milkshakes anymore. One of the staff members told me that they don't for see milkshakes ever making a comeback, which is a bummer. The customer service is great, and the staff is always willing to let you taste test their flavors. Definitely my favorite ice cream spot in the city so far! read more

I was so appalled by the behavior of the young male employee, the price for 3 scoops of ice cream (16 dollars) and the fact that they would not allow a 70+ year old woman (who came in after us) to use the bathroom aside from all of this they do not sell milkshakes. We were given the excuse that they stopped selling them (milkshakes) after COVID (the COVID excuse left the station years ago). A place of business is only as good as the employees and the young man who served us really didn't want to be there and acted as if he was doing us a favor. The place was empty when we arrived but our son insisted he had been there years ago and it was worth a try. Big mistake!!! Telling a obvious lie (that the bathroom is out of order) to customers is extremely rude and insulting, state law requires employers to have bathroom facilities for employees - so rather than insult the public just say you don't allow customers to use the bathroom. Hard to imagine how they stay in business given the fact that they also didn't have many of the flavors listed on the menu and to top it all off the ice cream they did have was not very high quality. 31 flavors is located across the street go there and avoid a very unpleasant experience. The multiple negative reviews speak for themselves. read more

I want to start by saying that the ice cream taste great. The thing I have an huge issue with is you can not see the ice cream. Part of an ice cream shop experience is visual. You bring your kids in and window shop till you see the one you want. As well as the toppings or see the waffles. It has more of a fast food chili dog place feel instead of the magical ice-cream experience. read more

The standard chocolate ice cream is very good! I didn't like the flavor of the vanilla ice cream and it is too sweet. There is barely any fudge ribbon at all in the marble fudge-the name was deceiving. It's nice that it's locally made. The employee was nice, but we weren't offered any samples. I think it was a one-time trip for me. read more

Been here a couple times before and was one of my favorite places. I go to Gunther's, Leatherbys and this was my top. This time around everything tastes different, my favorite (toasted almond) was grainy and tasted like nothing. Other flavors we tried were extremely disappointing. Not sure if they changed owners or recipes but something changed. Hope others experience is better. read more

Great ice cream and speedy service. Seems to be a community favorite lots of families, couples, locals teens, queens and out of towners like me. My favorite things to do when I'm visiting a town is to try their local ice cream shops. Last night I got it in out milkshake and sonic is across the street but this place is by far above and beyond in quality. read more

My wife loves it. Their ice cream is smooth and creamy as well as cold and well refrigerated. This is an old school ice cream parlor- not the modern glitzy kind you find so many places. We love Brock's. We come here very often. Like at least once a week. We head to Bombay lounge every Thursday for dinner and then head over to bocks for dessert. The ice cream is always top tier, not like we're getting crazy flavors but the cookies and cream is amazing. My girlfriend gets the cotton candy and it definitely smells like cotton candy but has a weird after taste of banana. As for the location and vision of the place, I really like how the building is decorated N the way that everything is put together and kinda gives it that old ice cream parlor look. So the reason it wasn't a 5 star, is because of the customer service. The gentleman that assisted us looked high as f*** and low key just didn't wanna be there. I might one to care how people dress but the girl also in the back was in sweat pants and didn't look presentable whatsoever. read more

Previously we had went to a nasty restaurant that was disappointing. So we got icecream, this made everything better. Device was amazing, the line kept moving and the people working there were amazing. Service was amazing and quick. The lady's there were bilingual and were very sweet and patient. Made sure we got our napkins and gave us a newspaper. 10/5 stars read more

What a hidden gem! This place has the best ice cream in Yuba City. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here if you love ice cream. It's smooth and not too sweet. Free water is offered by the water fountain with cups. Seating is so vintage. I'd recommend coming in and sitting for the full experience. The service here is quick and friendly. I got the kid scoop of the raspberry cheesecake and my husband got the cookies and cream kid scoop. There is parking in the back, and some street parking. read more

Not good customer service at all. I wouldn't recommend spending your money or bringing your business here whatsoever. My family and I arrived at 9:28pm and were literally reaching for the door handle as the blonde girl locked the door in our faces and made a motion and facial expression meaning they were closed. The hours online state that they close at 10pm, so that was a bit misleading for them to lock the door right at 9:30... Furthermore, there were still 2 customers in store ordering as she locked the door in our face. Not sure who told her that was okay, but it was extremely rude. She could've at least said they weren't taking any more orders, and that they were closed for the night instead of literally locking the doors in our face. I just find it extremely disrespectful to do that when there's still people in store ordering and according to their hours online, they weren't supposed to close for another 30 minutes. Don't spend your money here, and don't interact with the rude blonde girl if you can. If she treats customers like that, she deserves to lose her job. They don't deserve any business and the blonde girl needs to find another career area as she sucks at customer service. Glad we didn't waste our money at this poor excuse for a icecream shop. read more

This place has wonderful ice cream, I enjoy the fruit ice cream they make , the cherry ice cream is very good, they have great chocolate ice cream, I'm not a big fan of the old-fashioned vanilla- but to be honest, I eat it anyways. The prices have gone up substantially, which is a bummer but the service is awesome, and the atmosphere is the same old vibe that's always been for years. I highly recommend this place if you haven't tried-it has great other waffle cones :) very delicious. read more

Their ice cream used to be much better. I had peppermint ice cream today...it was bland and not minty at all. The last two times I have eaten there I ended up with an upset stomach. If you have a pet avoid the pet ice cream at all costs. The one time I treated my dog She got very ill and I ended up with an $800 vet bill. A definite no go for me. read more

Small scoop ... and they charge .79 cents to run your debit card... suggest you bring cash... and they charged me 5.50 for a Sundae w hot fudge one scoop and I chose no whip cream or cherry... it didn't even fill the cup. The young man was nice but fast and not patient. No other in the store at the time read more

He was already upset with the staff, because he had ordered my Fav for Mother's Day, and was told when ordering they'd need an extra day to write on the pie"Happy Mother's Day". He said fine. Imagine his surprise when he picked it up, and he saw what looked like a price tag/or gift tag made out of the worst tasting chocolate,maybe at the most 5", with Happy Mother's Day on it and stuck in the whip cream like an after thought. He came home and was so upset, he showed it tome early. He got major credit for remembering, and he said please call, or write a review! That ridiculous, that's what would take an extra whole day. It doesn't even have your name on it, I tried to understand it was Mother's Day, but that's what took them 24 hours extra to do? Top it off they were not the nicest when he went to get it.

Shoutout Palestine for bringing us such kindhearted people, may we see a free Palestine within our lifetimes :)

I'm sitting here in Reno, NV. thinking about having an ice cream cone, then my mind drifted back to when I was a kid and Brock's ice Cream came to mind. So.... i decided to "Google" Brock's to see if the store was still in business. I grew up in East Marysville, CA. from age 5 to 19. My mother took us five kids to Brocks consistently over the years. I remember, my favorite flavor was Apple Strudel. Even as a kid, the ice cream was simply wonderful with large chunks of apples and the servings always huge. What is so memorable is my mother fell on hard times (after the divorce), and she took us kids To Brock's for an ice cream about twice a month or more just to bring up the families moral. I thank my lovely mother (Josephine) and Brock's for making life a little easier growing up and your store will forever be in the hearts and minds of our family. Went in Last Week with My Fiance' for some Ice Cream while I was on My Lunch Break at Work, Terrible Service. The "KIDS" that were Working were too into Talking to Each Other and Messing around in The Back than to Help Us. One Girl was Really Rude and The Other was too Good to Help Anyone. The Boy that was Working was The Only One doing a Decent Job then got Yelled at because He Spilled a Little Ice Cream and Was Busy Helping His Customer when He was Rudely told to Clean it Up! read more

DO NOT GO TO BROCKS! EMPLOYEES FORBIDDEN TO USE NEW GLOVES OR FRESH TOWELS TO WIPE ANYTHING DOWN EVEN DURING COVID.
