I called several weeks ago to ask if it would be distasteful to bring in the old hearings aids and have them adjusted for my moderate hearing loss. He said "no, that would be fine." Finally, today I was in Springfield and called to see if there was any way I could come in while in town. Mr. Kerr was so pleasant and said I could come by in 30 minutes. Within the hour, I had a hearing test and the hearing aids adjusted for my ears. There was no hard sell to buy new ones like I got in Florida. The people there would not understand that I would not pay $6,000 for hearing aids without giving it a lot of thought. Mr. Kerr said that I could try the old ones out for awhile and if I ever wanted to upgrade, he would be glad to help me out. I appreciate his approach so much! He had viewed my CT scans online when I was in the ER, so he knew my case. He examined, then presented the options and his recommendation. And we were on our way. Today he fixed my orbital blowout (yeah, that's what they call it) at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Rosenblum came to see me prior to surgery, and not a lot of surgeons do that. A fabulous personal touch. He was friendly, yet all business and entirely professional. He came in saying, "You look great with your broken face," which was a helpful ice-"breaker"!! He reviewed all my pre-op tests results thoroughly along with my whole "chart," was upbeat, and inspired optimism and great trust in his skills. After surgery, he met and talked with my friend who escorted me to Missouri Baptist Medical Center (friend or family for the driving situation is required), and gave her all the particulars, spending a good piece of time to explain everything. Kudos for that!! All-around, a top-notch, first-class physician and surgeon!

I do t remember any of it because of a brain injury. So i guess im in good hands. I trust what dr. Cristel says. Cuz i have broken my nose at one point in 010. Which made my passages very crooked. And i already have tiny nasal passages. I have never been able to breathe in or out of my nose. And if i try? My nostrils close. I thought it was normal. I was born this way... Right? Wrong.. I was nothing nose. Which i love.. But i just cant use it. So my nose? For my whole life has been like an appendix or a gallbladder. I dontknow why its there... But it looks good. My only hopes..... Please do not change the size of my nose by much.. And please let me breathe thru it for once. ...i m excited and scared. Because this is my faché we r talking about doing surgery on..
