I never leave reviews but felt this was worth mentioning. The office looks like a dusty antique store rather than a professional health setting. My "appointment" had me waiting longer than they scheduled me for. The dentist himself couldn't find the time of day to meet with me, he just had his assistants look at my teeth. Called the receptionist (took two days, yes during their stated office hours, to finally get ahold of anyone) later on to confirm my follow up appointment (I couldn't find the note I wrote of the next date/time) thinking they'd be able to look up my appointment info, but no. Not only was the women who answered very rude (she was clearly having a bad day & taking it out on anyone in her way) she also stated they don't keep track of appointments & that everything is hand written... so does that mean just anyone can walk in at any time & claim to have an appointment? This place is unbelievable. I know times are hard, but value your health & self first by forgetting this place.... will NOT be returning. read more

Dr. Paul was our dentist for more than 40 years. Myself and my 2 kids. We all lived in IL until both my kids went to college out of state and I retired to FL. Dr. Paul was a "PAINLESS DENTIST" every time we had dental procedures done. He was educated at Northwestern Dental School, Chicago, IL, the best dental school in United States and very difficult to get into. Dr. Paul did 2 gold filled fillings where you pound gold 1 small pellet at a time. I am 71 years old and those gold fillings are like new! Unfortunately, they do not do these fillings anymore since the white fillings are being done more frequently and silver fillings now. If I lived in IL I would drive for miles to see Dr. Dentist for my dental care. If his office does not have the most updated furniture, that should not be anyone's priority. Priority should be Dr. Paul's dental skills, his professionalism, his kindness and utmost care for his patients. People who keep complaining about something and don't tell staff what troubles them to make a situation better in my opinion are wrong. Does it make you feel good to write bad reviews! Dr. Paul's practice is very busy, takes all emergencies; even when his practice is closed and has reasonable costs for all of his patients. If a staff member stays home because of sickness sometimes the receptionist may be helping out with patient dental care; teaching dental care to patients, etc. There is a MESSAGE MACHINE. Don't go here! Biggest regret of my life. It's dirty there, the receptionists are rude & don't answer the phone. He tells everyone they need dentures if when they don't. He pulled all my top teeth & gave me top denture that looks like something from a joke shop. I can't even wear it. So now I have no top teeth & I'm not even 40 years old yet. My quality of life has went down. I'm depressed. Can't eat. Don't want to leave the house with no teeth. GET A SECOND OPINION! And don't let the receptionist bully you into a second opinion from the dentist THEY suggest. They will tell you the only other dentist that can take you is in st. Louis. I had to have a tooth pulled , wisdom tooth it was cracked and starting to hurt.. I have dentist fear aversion ..I didn't feel a thing when he pulled it , he was quick efficient and more important painless . It's not a fancy place but he did his job well ..I recommend him to anyone that wants comfort over state of the art .He makes time for emergencies and reasonable price .. If I could give him less than 1 star I would! This guy is a quack! The office is disgusting, unclean, smells like stale smoke and mold, staff including the dentist were extremely unprofessional. The building is ran down, the equipment has to be from the 80's atleast. The suction tubing was yellow, nothing was sterile or covered up. My husband stayed because he was desperate for relief. My husband told him the bottom tooth on the right side hurt and this "Dentist" acted like he was lying. He poked my husband ELEVEN times to numb him and didn't stop when my husband told him he could still feel everything. The "dentist" stood over my husband and took a stance as of he was gonna lift weights and went in. He crushed the tooth, yanked it out, and walked away. HE TOOK OUT THE WRONG TOOTH. He prescribed an antibiotic that my husband said he was allergic to twice and gave nothing for pain. My husband left a bloody mess and in more pain than when he went in. We are now in the ER. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy and the positive reviews are either fake or from people on crack!! read more

Was supposed to go to Chicago for dental work, but gave Dr. Paul a try. Now he has become me and my family favorite Dentist in Illinois. The hour and 15 minute drive is definitely worth it. If you are the type to cover your smile because of bad teeth, Dr. Paul will help give you the confidence to smile without covering your smile. read more

Dr Paul is very efficient and his services will fit any budget. His office is not state of the art but his dental ability is.
