    The wire intentionally left disconnected to the capacitor

    I will NEVER recommend KMA as they are scam artists! Technician Roberto Del Pinal was out to diagnose our slow AC yesterday. He recommended a full replacement of both furnace and AC, which was red flag number 1. AC wouldn't not work immediately after their visit. I called and their immediate response was "well if it isn't covered by warranty, then you'll have to pay"..... I didn't even ask about payment, I just wanted it fixed. Red flag #2. Turns out, he left a wire disconnected to the capacitor. The wire is connected in such a way that it isn't easily disconnected, could have fallen off or been bumped off. He intentionally left it disconnected while they were quoting a $10k-$15k system.... Do NOT hire them, they will try to scam you!!

    I'm not exactly seeing what "extra precautions" you put in place during these unprecedented times. Every person we have had come do service for us since COVID19 began has worn a mask. We have had our shower doors replaced, our house cleaners, a plumber, and our carpets cleaned. Your guy mocked wearing a mask and said he refuses to shop at "Communist Menards" because they make you wear a mask. He was nice, but when you are entering someone's home during a pandemic, you wear a mask. And $1,021 to fix a ballast and install a fan. I will get a second opinion. Granted the price wasn't his fault....

    Showed up on time and was friendly and professional. The estimate seemed a little high but I wouldn't hesitate to use their services

Brandon was like a detective, diagnosing and repairing what turned out to be three separate problems. The first two problems he resolved pretty quickly. The third one, no power to our 1931 detached garage, was a stumper, and he called his supervisor. I appreciated there being a more experienced electrician he could turn to. In the end, Brandon noticed an obsolete outlet on the wall of the garage down near the floor. He figured out that water had gotten into the outlet wiring, which was still live (!) and that had caused the problem. Fortunately, there were two wires in the metal conduit from the house to the garage, and he was able to attach our garage electrical service to the newer one. This was a much better outcome than digging a trench through the back yard from the garage to the house to run new wire and conduit. A less honest and competent company might have dug a trench to create a bigger, more expensive project. The office staff is also very professional. Setting up the appointment, paying the invoice and having a receipt emailed was easy.

    The name is misleading, would not consider this quality. Called the company last Friday, explaining…read morethe scope of the project for my House and the type of quote that I would need. Informed they would need to send this to the residential project manager and would have someone call me. The time was set up for today. A gentleman came out I explained what was going on same as I did on Friday. He proceeds to tell me that this type of quote would need technicians to come out and do all the testing and that would take at least a half a day to a days worth of work to be able to generate that kind of quote. I asked if he could look at an outlet to see if looked like it was grounded properly or if there was any knob and tube present visually present in the house up in the attic he told me he's not able to do that. I then asked him what the purpose of him coming out today is and why both our time waswasted given that I explained this whole situation on Friday. He blamed his office receptionist saying that it is not the receptionist role to schedule a technician call versus him coming out. I explained we had another electrical company come out this week with technicians having no problems giving us a quote. This company has breakdowns in communication they waste your time to take off work. I would have had no problem paying for a quote today, had it been setup that way. He was insistent I wanted a free quote. The company just had a failure of communication and what should have been done today. He also informed me he is the vice president of the company. If that's the case I would keep that info to myself, As a VP he's not accepting responsibility.
