I cannot say how great this office and Dentist are!! I've been coming to Dr. Cayasso for about 10 years! I'm soooo glad he takes my insurance! When Covid happened I had to pause + had issues with insurance, this year I decided to check if I could come back to this office, sooo happy that I was able to get in! I feel like I know everyone here! So homey and warm! Kind, patience and informative! Like many people, I do not look forward to going to the dentist - even for a cleaning! I have lived in many places and retired in Palm Springs,Ca. unfortunately I have many issues with my teeth, I tried 3 dentist and finally found my favorite dentist Dr. Cassasyo. Had a crown and bridge replaced. Great guy. My smile is better than ever and the colors of the crowns match perfectly.

Still want everyone to beware. He is nice until things go sideways. I'm still stuck with a giant ugly crown that clearly doesn't match my mouth in color size or shape. Update, the rods also protrude out of the bottom of the crown. Dr. Cayasso, you should make this right! read more

I had a very good visit yesterday with my all time favorite dentist, Dr. Cayasso! Although there are new procedures due to Covid 19, I still received the personable warm welcome (that I feel I is very necessary, especially now) that I've always gotten. I had what I felt was an urgent visit, although it didn't end up being a dental related issue, they showed me compassion and concern. Dr Cayasso has been my dentist for 10 years and I've referred both friends and coworkers to him. But today he went above and beyond in crafting a new temporary front tooth to replace the tooth that broke last night at dinner...and being as amazing as ever, my temporary tooth looks better than my old tooth which he's been talking to me about replacing for years (my reluctance, not his). Stay away!!! I had a dental emergency and after getting no response from his office I called his emergency number. He finally answered after my 2nd call. I started to describe my pain and he cut me off and said "I don't have time for this, I'm on vacation", and then he promptly hung up without a referral. As far as I am concerned this was patient abandonment without cause. I filed a formal complaint. read more

I just change my health plan and had to change dentists. I was very worried as I'd loved my other dentist, but I chose "Tony" Cayasso and am now so relieved and happy! He was so friendly and efficient and kind when I met him for my intake exam. Then, wonderful Roger took over, and cleaned my teeth. He did it so well, and with no discomfort as I have sometimes felt during a cleaning! He kept asking how I was, AND took great care to "teach" me how to brush properly. They don't force ANY procedure on you for money. Its been hard finding a dentist I can trust like this since I switched insurance. An Outstanding Professional Dentist! I am a former teacher who retired to Palm Springs from San Diego. I was fortunate to have the same dentist for 35 years in San Diego. During that time, I had many different treatments performed without ever a problem or complication. So, when I retired to Palm Springs, I was concerned about finding a dentist that would measure up to the high standards set by my previous dentist, who also retired when I did. After two tries, I hit gold with Dr. Cayasso. When I first walked in the door it was a welcoming environment. Over the next months, I had several cleanings, exams and x-rays performed. I was impressed with the desire on his part to continually educate me as to what was going on inside my mouth. Then the real test happened when my front tooth cracked and broke off from an old baseball fracture that happened when I was a teenager. (1) Dr. Cayasso saw me immediately and (2) was concise, objective and direct with his analysis and suggestions for a course of treatment. (3) After the temporary crown was removed, Dr. Cayasso made sure the fit and color of the permanent crown were not just passable, but exceptional. He wanted the crown to be natural looking and blend in with the coloring on the rest of my front teeth. I remember during the procedure being very impressed with his skill at minimizing any pain or discomfort that I might be experiencing. I and my family can't even tell there is a crown on my front tooth. After being under his care for the past 1 1/2 years, I can make the following observations with confidence. Dr. Cayasso is proactive, professional and extremely talented at what he does. Also, he wants to put the patient at ease and had me feeling that everything relating to the procedure was under control at all times. I also think it becomes quite clear that Dr. Cayasso loves what he is doing. His office staff works at creating a welcoming atmosphere the minute you enter the waiting room, and any concerns you might have relating to scheduling and billing are immediately answered. As a teacher, I was impressed with the staff who could communicate in both English and Spanish. I highly recommend this talented, caring and professional man who also has a wonderful outgoing personality.
