I ordered an arrangement for same day delivery online. It was for a birthday. I called ahead to ensure delivery was plausible to the address of where I needed them to go. The flowers were delivered about 2-2.5 hours after I ordered them. They're beautiful. The customer service was stellar. My only issue is the size. I paid $99 for the arrangement and $15 for the delivery. My total was $124. I feel the arrangement was rather small and skimpy for $99 worth of flowers. I've purchased bigger arrangements at HEB for a little over half the cost of what I spent here. Online I also feel the arrangement was bigger and fuller. That's my only disappointment. read more

Back in September, my mom passed away. No one prepares you for what that event is like as a daughter. I was grieving with my whole family and simultaneously planning a funeral. We went to Bastrop Florist to get the casket spray, and it was a very good choice. Turns out the woman who helped us even knew my mom. It's this level of service that you can't get by calling some rando number online from a huge corporate chain. We were able to describe what we wanted (a beachy theme, since my mom loved the beach so much), and she even found a way to incorporate some shells we had. This was back when Texas was being ravaged by hurricanes, so the flowers she had access to were more limited, but she was very knowledgable and found great dupes for what we had in mind. "Most beautiful arrangement i have ever seen"....were the first words heard from my sweetheart's phone call. From a thousand miles away, while on disaster(s) relief for Harvey and Irma. With a cellphone call from the field, Aya ,Bastrop Florist' Owner, delivered the most perfect bunch of flowers,flowers and more flowers. With great customer service and a friendly voice from my new hometown, i (and Bastrop Florist) made up for almost a month of "can't talk long"phone call and having to do all the house chores (including cutting the grass). Bastrop Florist went out of their way to take an awful situation - my getting duped by Avas Bastrop flowers into ordering from them thinking they were the real Bastrop Florist and their completely dropping the ball, and delivering a beautiful arrangement on the day they needed to be delivered. Don't be duped into buying from Avas, they are just a call center who will take a fee of the sale and try to find a florist to do the arrangement you want at their reduced rates. They assured me that they were a real florist when I ordered, then, the next day, told me that they could not find a florist in the area to deliver my arrangement that day and it would have to be the next. Come to find out that they had called Bastrop and offered them $48 towards the arrangement I had paid over $60 for. No wonder they couldn't find a florist to deliver for them! They didn't even include my message even having been told is was very special. Bastrop really came through for me and my step mother was thrilled with her arrangement. read more

Loved this place!!! I needed to get Valentine's Day flowers for my sister and her daughters, and I'm so glad I went here! The customer service is some of the best I've ever had from any store, ever. I gave them my budget, and they planned around it and even included me in the process. They even showed me certain arrangements to see if I wanted a contemporary/traditional arrangement or something more rustic. I wanted a rustic, exotic looking bouquet that was also a little traditional bc my sister is an artist and I felt she would the appreciate attention to detail. They really delivered!!! The whole arrangement was PERFECT and sooo different than anything I've seen! There were some tropical flowers mixed in with the red roses, and it was just BEAUTIFUL!!! They were so pretty, and truly looked and smelled amazing in person! I will definitely order from them again! read more

I was sent flowers from my son and daughter from out-of-state 2 times in a period of 2 weeks (1 for my birthday and 1 for Mother's Day)....the first time I received a large bouquet of flowers and each of the pink roses had already begun to turn brown and another flower had already wilted upon delivery. I called and sent a photo to Bastrop Florist and they gave COVID as an excuse for their substandard flowers and said they would issue a replacement the following Tuesday. When Tuesday rolled around, no replacement flowers and no call from the florist....it has been 10 days now and still no flowers, so I decided to just mark it up to a lesson learned - do not order from this florist. Then on Mother's Day, my children sent me flowers again from out-of-state and once again they were paired with Bastrop Florist. Once again, there were wilted flowers in the arrangement upon delivery, the succulent that was placed in the arrangement was not set well in the flowers, the other flowers in the bouquet only lasted about 3 days before the majority of them needed to be removed and disposed of. Then yesterday, there was a delivery to a co-worker from the same florist $140 tulip arrangement....the tulips were packed into a tiny vase and 3 of the tulips were already wilted and hanging down as if they were falling out...we tried to make sure they were in the water by pushing them back down within the arrangement, but they had been stuffed so tightly into a vase that was way too small, they were literally choking to death. The co-worker took them back to the florist and florist was not really concerned about the substandard arrangement even though the cost was quite pricey...their excuse was.....tulips are difficult to work with. So, I never rate companies because I always want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but evidently this company has lost their zeal to conduct their business with pride for the work that they are producing. My advice would be - DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS, THERE ARE OTHER FLORISTS IN TOWN WHO TRULY PRODUCE EXCELLENT ARRANGEMENTS AND TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. read more

I had to order a sympathy arrangement for dear friend of mine and found Bastrop Florist to be the best value via website. So, I ordered the arrangement online and found it to be a simplistic process. But, when I reviewed the emailed confirmation I noticed I accidentally clicked the incorrect delivery date. I called first thing the next morning and the woman that answered was very friendly and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure that my friend received the best arrangement on the correct delivery day (which was the same day I called in even!) They did a wonderful job on my sister's flowers. I had placed an order online for delivery. They attempted to reach me, because they were out of the flower I selected and the Delivery area would be more than what was charged online. I wasn't available, and they attempted several times. In the end they delivered a beautiful arrangement and I think took the delivery from the flower value. Whatever they did worked, my sister loved her flowers and they were delivered in a very timely manner. I was extremely impressed, because I was thinking they just wouldn't do it and give me the money back, since I wasn't available to make a decision. I was very happy with the service and the quality. I called Bastrop Florists on a Friday & wanted flowers delivered later the day. WOW. They asked me who was going to receive the flowers & what the occasion was & made several helpful suggestions as I wasn't really sure which flowers I had in mind. I was so disappointed with this florist. Flowers that were to be delivered Friday were delivered Monday...The large center flowers wilted with in the hour. I called and asked for different flowers to replace them with and they sent the same ones again that also quickly wilted. The 100$ arrangement was 4 roses 8 daisies and lots and lots of greens in a cheap paper vase.The local HEB would have done better. Also the arrangement was a strange flat affair. The arrangement had been sent to me in symphathy as my dad had died...So looking like a flat furnell arrangement was awful. read more
