Every time I send flowers somewhere it is really important for me to find a florist who is a true artisan and does not produce cookie cutter arrangements. Blackbird Floral did just that. The arrangement was beautiful and very well received by my son and future daughter-in-law. They sent a photo and couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous the flower arrangement was. Blackbird Floral will be my go-to when sending flowers in Austin, Texas. I ordered the arrangement late morning and they were delivered that same evening. They also knew the flowers were a gift for a friend's cancer surgery. They have no accountability or compassion. The corsages on the website look great and professional and the pictures she sent me of what she made looked great, but what I got was anything but. The flowers that were used were not the type that should have been used for the boutonnière. The flower was too big and thick and was not made as it should be. Now let's talk about the corsage. The material used for for the wrist was cute and all but was too small to even get on (she has a tiny wrist) without damage and this was tried before it was thrown away. The roses again were not the proper ones to use and was not even secured enough to the wrist band and was flip flopping everywhere. Not to mention the placement was odd and looked bad from every angle except from the top. I did order this the day before, but that was not an excuse because this was so bad that they could not be worn and I had to throw them away and get a new corsage and boutonnière from a local shop (same day as prom and it was beautiful and excellent quality and was don't the same day. ) she also over charged for the product I received.

Instead, what was delivered looked nothing like what I paid for. It was small, dull, and embarrassingly thrown together. This was supposed to be a memorable moment for her, and they completely failed. For the price I paid (140), I expected quality, care, and professionalism. What we got was the opposite. I am beyond dissatisfied and honestly shocked that a business calling itself a flower shop would send out something this poorly made. I demanded a full refund and after filling a complaint, an investigation was opened where they determined that they did nothing wrong. This is part of their response- " We have reviewed this picture and we've determined that this order is filled to value based on our substitution policy. In our substitution policy it states that all items such as flowers, containers, color schemes, or plants are subject to availability. This ruined a moment that should have been special, and I will absolutely not be ordering from them again.
