Great bakery with a very friendly staff. Both the owner and another worker were there when i stopped by 30 minutes from closing time. They were very helpful and i never felt rushed. They still had everything we came for so we picked up a full key lime pie, a mini apple pie and a cute Halloween coffee mug. The pies were fresh, tasted incredible and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend you give this place a try! We will certainly be back to try many more pies. So it tastes great. Our cake we got was the light colored one pictures. I ordered the darker green one, wanted it to basically be the same thing. I was told by the person at pickup they were unsure how to make it look like the picture, the picture being on their own website with a direct link to order it. If you have a theme or color you need on a custom cake, be very careful, they were unable to fix this mistake. Wish I could rate it higher, just can't when it costs $150 and the end product not as advertised. I still consider taste the most important, so I'm revising to at least 4 stars. read more

Batch has been THAT bakery for us ever since I moved to Texas. It's always the go to for special occasions (I say special occasions because they are a little pricey). They recently moved locations and I really loved the last one, but I'm sure they will eventually do something great with the new space as well, it's early days and it seems like they are still getting settled. We have ventured out and tried cookies and a few of the mini pies, but after this last visit the only thing to really rave about in my opinion is the key lime pie. This time I got the Pecan Chocolate Chip pie and was sadly disappointed. I honestly didn't get any hints of chocolate, the consistency was chunky as opposed to smooth as desired, and the crust was kind of flavorless. However, the key lime pie is perfectly sour, with an amazing consistency and some great whipped cream from scratch! We will continue to support but just stick to the key lime pie. read more

We have purchased pies from Batch before and they are delicious. I like their apple, pecan and coconut cream. We bought minis for the holidays and they were a big hit. However, last weekend we bought a full apple pie and two minis for Easter and my dad's birthday celebration. When we cut into the pie, the crust was not cooked through. It was like goop! We couldn't eat it. We scooped out the filling and basically had apple cobbler. Batch, please consider this feedback to improve your baking process. Otherwise, very tasty treats. When I walked in, it reminded me of a Nothing Bundt Cake shop. It turns out that the owner used to work there. The staff is usually effervescent and charismatic. We have tried a variety of cakes and pies and most are good. Out of the cakes, the red velvet is a must get and the chocolate and vanilla are pretty good as well. The biggest issue is that there's so much icing and not enough cake. From the pies, the lemon blueberry and pecan chocolate are fantastic. The coconut cream was too sweet, key lime tasted fake like too much extract, and peanut butter was too decadent. read more

Reliability is becoming an issue... very disappointed in the quality of the pie that I picked up for thanksgiving. The filling was barely bigger than the crust... really frustrating since I know how good the pies can be. The previous time I ordered, I went to go pick up my order and the store was closed during the time of my pickup but I was never notified or contacted about the store being closed. I came to the Batch Bakery today. The woman came out from the kitchen and greeted me so I said hello. I was looking for the menu and she gave me the 2 cards, one with the QR codes and the other with the business website of the store. I was looking for a cake because my wife's birthday is on Sunday. She told to me that they are open from Monday to Saturday only and they are not open on Sunday. Also she mentioned that they are booked, have many orders, and very busy. If I want to order, order online in advance so they can do it. I looked around and noticed they have the last apple pie on the counter. She told me that she baked the apple pie this morning. She was very pleasant to talk to. She has that French accent so I grabbed the last apple pie in the store. She also advised me if I want a really authentic French food, need to go to the Lavendou Bistro Restaurant in Dallas. Merci beaucoup! I came home ate our dinner and I sliced a piece of apple pie to my wife and to myself. Took the first bite I was satisfied and was waiting for my wife reaction because she was bringing our tea on the table. She cut a piece of the pie from her plate then she put it in her mouth, tasted it and ate it. She was surprised and said "wow this is the best apple pie I have ever tasted in my whole life!" My husband bought an apple pie and we were very excited because the owner/baker is French so we knew we're getting a real authentic French taste. Sure enough the apple pie was so good. It's just enough sweetness with a little bit of tartness from the apple and the crust is so good as well. I could taste so many different spices that I have not tasted from other apple pies before. This place is legit. I love that you can taste that it's real food because often times, the American style baking is very very heavy on sugar, cream, & butter. It's overly sweet and unhealthy that it coats the tongue to the point where you lose your appetite eating the pastry. Like the French, as an Asian our pastries are also just slightly sweet and much lighter and healthier. I so very much appreciate that we now have an authentic French bakery in the area. We got to try this bakery at the Texas Legends game. They had pumpkin, pecan chocolate and key lime. I tired the key lime and the pie and whipped topping were great. The crust was hard as a rock so I just ate the toppings. I'd like to try again and see if the bad crust was a fluke. I loved the personal size of these pies and they looked perfect. I had a coworker tell me about this place but the one in Allen or McKinney. I live in Frisco and love Key Lime and coconut cream pie. I am a baker myself but I don't do pies mostly cake and cookies. So when I had a hankering for pie I thought I should finally give it a try. I ordered 3 mini pies Sunday and picked up Monday. They had a sample of the cherry which I read online was seasonal. Walking out to my car I dropped most of that sample but tasted enough to know it was delicious. The chocolate cream pie had an Oreo crust. I read that but some how just ignored it. I prefer a regular crust so I can't say I ate past the first taste. I saved it for my 14 yo son. Next up was the key lime. It was delicious. I loved it so much I only ate half and have the other half in the freezer so I can eat it next week (you'll see why in a min). Then I had the coconut cream. Now, normally I am sad when it has a meringue top but omg this pie is DELICIOUS! I couldn't stop eating it. So I finished it. And then on Wednesday I went back and bought another and picked up the last cherry pie and an apple for my husband. Yes, the pie crust is not thin. And I'm ok with that!!!! I have this aversion to eating things out of foil pans (yes even at family gatherings- if you've made any food that I have to scrape out of a foil pan like Mac n cheese or mashed potatoes, I cringe and swear I can taste the foil lol) but have found my pies come right out of it! As you can see from the only 1 pie I have left, the crust is not too thick. I am in my 40's and don't work out whatsoever. I keep from gaining weight by eating things in portions. The 9in would be too big and no one else here eats that. But this 4in is perfect for me to eat half 1 day and half another. Sadly this place has gone downhill. Our last order the mini key lime pies had so little filling the crust and pie combined was less than 1/2 inch thick. The primary flavor was the aluminum pan. My first comment to my wife when I pulled them out of the plastic container was that they appeared to have shrunk. In the past even on the minis the crust came to the top of the pan. The pie itself was as thick as the container, etc. We'll eventually give it one last chance because we've enjoyed it for years. Based on other reviews though I'm very concerned this wasn't an anomaly. Edit: I've found the problem. They spend all of their time doing stupid stuff on Facebook instead of checking the pie filler-upper machine for consistency. read more

This little bake shop full of delicious pies was the perfect thing I needed to get a Pie fix. They have a variety of different pies that you can choose from and they have large pies and mini pies. They were all amazing! Just enough for one person- getting the mini sizes. The apple was my favorite along with the chocolate creme pie. Very sleek, cute, and friendly a doll-house-like cup cake house. Located on the corner of Lebanon Rd. and Dallas Parkway in Frisco there's a cute cup cake house, selling pies, cupcakes, mini pies, cookies, and drinks and ice cream. I stopped by on a whim, and I chose Batch Bite Dozen; 3 apple pies, 3 pecans, 3 chocolates, 3 coconut creams. it's absolutely cute and even affordable, $18, contained in a turquoise dozen box that I was enticed to give them to other for Birthday presents right away. And the taste was really yummy and delicious. The owner was very proud of herself and friendly while many shop owners have been discouraged and scared during this COVID19 pandemic era. I haven't tried any baked goods. They do not offer vegan options but I did try their whipped coffee and enjoyed it. It does need to be stirred though and can be messy, if not careful. Their whipped coffee is not on their menu yet. The shop is really cute with other miscellaneous items they sell. Walking in to Batch Bakery, it feels very kind and welcoming. The entire shop is daintily decorated and the staff are all very kind and attentive! I tried an order of Batch Bites - including Pecan, Confetti, Chocolate, and Key Lime bites - and I enjoyed all of them thoroughly. The flavors were strong within the pies and they were super sweet and delicious. I also tried an Iced Coffee Pie and a Peanut Butter Pie in the 4 inch size, and wow! I'm a sucker for cold pies now, and that Iced Coffee Pie was as heavenly as I had imagined! These pies are perfect for a hot summer outside, which is how I enjoyed them! I also felt that the price point was great for all sizes of pies sold here. They're fresh, made from scratch, and a lot of effort is put into each pie. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors and enjoy more pies. read more

I loved Buttermilk Sky Pie and was heartbroken to see it gone. I had called Batch Bakery and they said they're not the same as Buttermilk, but had very similar offerings and more. The inside of the store looks almost the same as Buttermilk. I ordered our 3 usuals: key lime pie, coconut cream, chocolate pecan pie aka I40, and some vanilla and lemon thumbprint cookies. The pies from Batch come in containers that say Buttermilk with the Batch sticker over it. I think the best way to describe this place is when you go to Walmart and buy the generic Equate brand of food instead of the brand name. It's like Batch tried hard to imitate Buttermilk, but the taste isn't quite right. The chocolate pecan / I40 was the closest. The thumbprint cookies were incredibly dry and I struggled to get them down. The key lime pie was just eh whereas before it was WOW. Same with the coconut creme. If you hadn't tried Buttermilk Sky Pies before, I'm sure this place is pretty good. If you had Buttermilk though, this place is just a sad reminder of what was once so good. read more

I've noticed this our shop for awhile now. Before, it was Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop. I never had the chance to go to that one, but now since it's Batch, I figured I should give it a go. I loved how they have mini pies that can easily feed a couple. They also have extra tiny pies that are super cute. There were a variety of flavors including cold pies, but I decided to go for the classic, Apple pie. When I brought it home, I did put it in the oven for a bit to warm it through. After sharing it, we both agreed that the apple pie was super good. The crust was flaky and the crumbles were slightly sweet and buttery. The apple filling was slightly tart, which helped but back on the overall sweetness. In conclusion, the apple pie was actually really good. I'd definitely go back and try the other flavors. When I was there, I noticed the confetti pie. Definitely want to try that one. read more

I was greeted kindly by a young lady whom asked if this was my first time visiting the bakery and it was. She let me know the offerings of desserts and pointed out that there was a cherry pie sample to try. I tried the cherry pie; however I chose to go with a chocolate silk pie, and my fiancé had the peanut butter pie. Both pies were smooth and creamy texture with a very nice chocolate crust and a lovely whipped topping. Definitely a lovely treat and worth the trip. Went here on a whim as we always pass it on the tollway. When you first walk in, it's super cute and bright. We bought a red velvet cake and brownie. The cake had way to much icing. Typically, red velvet cake comes with cream cheese frosting and this was just regular hard frosting. We took a couple bites and could not finish it. The brownie was okay, but I've had better brownies at home using store box mix. I am sure they some really good items, but it's a no for me! The service was wonderful, so that's a plus! read more

We ordered their gender reveal cake, which was amazing! The process was very easy: we gave them an envelope with the gender inside and they had it ready for us within a couple hours.
