A super cute place where you can get coffee, drinks, tea, various baked goods, cupcakes, cookies, and pie. A very friendly atmosphere. You can also come and hang out. They have plenty of seating with comfortable chairs and tables. A great location if you wanted to "work from home" but not at home. :) very cozy.

For my daughter's wedding, we needed five sheet cakes featuring edible images of her grandma's oil paintings. We taste-tested cakes from several bakeries -- The London Baker, Mike's, Market Street, Blue Bonnet, and Linnybird -- with a blind panel that included the bride, groom, and family members. Every cake was good, but Linnybird Bakery was the clear winner! Their cake was moist, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Becky and Matt were wonderful to work with -- patient, creative, and eager to make our vision come to life. They designed beautiful 9x13 cakes with framed borders around the artwork. When we showed them to Grandma, she cried (happy tears!). The cakes were stunning, the flavor was perfect, and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend Linnybird Bakery for weddings, events, or even just your next sweet craving. You won't be disappointed!

My coworker brought some cupcakes to the office. I had the strawberry one, it was delicious.

Stopped by this bakery on our way to our friends house in Dallas to grab a housewarming gift! I saw the nearly 5 star review and knew we had to check it out! We got an assortment of cupcakes (including the season ones for St. Patrick's day) and 3 chocolate chip/3 trashcan cookies! The cupcakes were absolutely delicious and SUPER MOIST! These are hands down some of the best cupcakes I've had! I was also a big fan of the trashcan cookies! They were the perfect mix of salty and sweet! I would definitely come back to try more of the cupcakes and the cookies! The young lady that served us was phenomenal! She knew about each cupcake and gave up a brief explanation of each one we asked her about! The barista also seemed super knowledgeable about the coffee and how/where is was roasted! This is definitely a super cute spot and well worth the drive to check out! We'll definitely be back!

I've always passed by this bakery and wanted to try it out. I'm so glad that I finally did because it is so cute and cozy inside with a great baked goods selection. The worker was super nice and helpful when we had lots of questions. There's surprisingly plenty of seating to study or go on a coffee date with friends. There's surprisingly plenty cupcakes, cookies, and specialty coffee we're all really good. My favorite was the maple bacon cupcake!

This cake turned out exactly as I described to the bakery, every detail was spot on! The staff was incredibly accommodating and so friendly throughout the entire process. Not only did it look stunning with the vibrant colors and beautiful design, but it also tasted absolutely amazing. Everyone at the party loved it! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for both quality and excellent customer service! We will definitely be going back!

I love this bake shop so much that I ordered a 10" cake with a white chocolate drip and gold foil... I had high expectations based on the pictures on the website. The taste was on par as usual, moist and delicious. We did a Lemon Cake with a cream cheese frosting and a blueberry merlot compote. But the display of the cake was less than expected. The white chocolate drip was messy and dripped over the base. The gold foil was literally just ripped and stuck on the cake. It's also came with a compote but it was mighty thick and hard to serve. I'm hoping this was just a one time thing but I'll be honest when I say I was quite disappointed in the look. Pictures show the inspiration photo and the final. For communication, there wasn't much of it. I talked to baker for design and that was about it. No reminder on time to pick up the cake, I ended up going into the store the day before to find out cause the phone was busy. I'll keep buying the cupcakes but I don't know if I'll be ordering a custom cake again.

This 2 tier chocolate/strawberry cake with strawberry butter cream icing was the hit of our entire evening.

The cake they made for us was amazing. Daughter's 23rd birthday. Graduating student from UT and loves fashion.

We had a single tier vegan cake made for our wedding day and it was AMAZING! We definitely want to order more cakes from here for celebrations in the future!

Square top peninsula bar to the left as you walk in and lounge area sofas and arm chairs to sit in groups to the right. Place is clean and just FYI it has one unisex bathroom and the place opens at 7 PM. This Friday night featured an appetizer menu, what I will call a munchies menu of tacos made by another vendor, and bottle cap bingo of all things. I tried the pecan bourbon old fashioned ($13) and found it to be good. I try to limit the add-ins somewhat and so I just stuck with Buffalo Trace on a large rock for the rest of the night. My wife had several mixed drinks that were in the $12 range. Matthias came up with a drink that was, per my wife, "sweet and strong." I thought maybe she was thinking of me when she ordered but she nixed that idea pretty quickly....LOL Mini-charcuterie ($12) I thought left something to be desired. Beef jerky added with just a toothpick of cured meats. Not sure how they fit three different types on there but they did and it was just enough to make you want more. Cheeses seemed to be basic run of the mill diced. Per my wife it was ok, but she would probably pass on ordering it again. It's not meant as an entree to be fair and there is a good portion as a whole, but just overly simple and a little light on proteins. I'd cut down the cheese and double the toothpick, also 86 that jerky stuff and probably have a decent plate. Maybe even through a couple extra strawberries on there. Two sisters sitting next to us ordered the artichoke and spinach dip. They said the dip was fine but the baguettes were way over-toasted (i.e. too dry) and that seems like an easy fix. Later in the evening during bingo I tried a couple of tacos. They are brought in and stored, reheated when ordered. Unfortunately it seems like it as the flour tortillas are quite soft and it just doesn't come out fresh. The relleno burrito is just a relleno wrapped in a flour tortilla; the potato and chorizo had my wife's approval and mine as well. Laura runs a good bar over there, and some of you may remember her from Torchy's down the road. Fair pours and prices commensurate for around the area. Bingo runs pretty quickly, even the blackouts and the organizer had a plinko game a la price is right style. Was a fun run down memory lane for me. In a bit of irony, we never ordered dessert, which is the main focus of this business during the week. The samples I saw looked pretty good and it seems like the bar is just a way to make use of the space off bakery hours which I can appreciate. To me though they are nearing that price range where I'd expect a little better from the kitchen for appetizers. About $120 was the overall tab which we capped with a 25% tip. Went home after having a good time but just felt they fell short on the food.

All of their selections are very good and very fresh and you have to come by frequently to see what is rotating in and out - like seasonal baked items depending on the holidays. Why aren't there more bakeries like Lucy's in North Texas?! Regarding my 21 years here, I lived in Allen for most of that time and there are a couple grocery stores over there but their selections were woefully lacking compared with what Lucy's offers - also they weren't as fresh. I'll try a new bakery now and then, in search of a good place close to me. I'm very picky on the flavors of the bakery's breads and such. I'll usually try a new bakery at least once. If it doesn't grab me the first time, I'll move on. It was really good. The concha's have a little flavor, they could use just a little bit more anise, but not enough to keep me from buying them. The empanadas were fantastic! I love Gallinas, but this place didn't have them, maybe next time. This will be my permanent bakery, unless I move out of this area.
