My wife and I happened into this bakery on our way home from church on Sunday. They have great coffee and really great baked goods. The day we visited, they were putting the finishing touches on a wedding cake to be delivered that day and the cake was beautiful. The customer service is absolutely the best. This is a great little bakery and I love that there is always a fun assortment of cupcakes. It's nice to be able to kill the I need cake craving with a cupcake. Cake is moist, not dry and icing is not too sweet. I feel like the pies are a bit pricey but the cake prices seem very fair and they are happy to work with you on flavors. All staff has been very nice and helpful. Coffee is available as well with some great flavors. If you like straight up coffee/espresso, not sure this is your place but if you like something with a bit of flavor, you will probably find something you like. Stopped by this bakery on our way to our friends house in Dallas to grab a housewarming gift! I saw the nearly 5 star review and knew we had to check it out! We got an assortment of cupcakes (including the season ones for St. Patrick's day) and 3 chocolate chip/3 trashcan cookies! The cupcakes were absolutely delicious and SUPER MOIST! These are hands down some of the best cupcakes I've had! I was also a big fan of the trashcan cookies! They were the perfect mix of salty and sweet! So, we got a cake from Linnybird's Bakeshop for my sister's 16th birthday. It was kind of a process finding a bakery that'd be willing to do this design for us. Long story short, they completely aced the design we were going for but the taste? What's a nice looking cake without a great flavor? I'm disappointed to have to share that no one liked the flavor of the cake. No one went back for seconds and the rest of the cake was thrown away which really sucks! It wasn't just the flavor that was an issue but there was a certain level of dryness that couldn't be ignored. I feel bad writing reviews like this which is why I'm still giving you 4 stars but if you heard the pause after we all went in for the first bite, you'd understand why I had to write this review. Purchased 2 cupcakes, 1 stuffie, 1 cookie, and a slice of turtle cheesecake. The cupcakes (lemon/blueberry and churro) were moist and delicious. The stuffie (campfire) was great. The Tuxedo (chocolate) cookie was a bit dry but tasty. The cheesecake was vanilla with chocolate but not a turtle cheesecake. I love this bake shop so much that I ordered a 10" cake with a white chocolate drip and gold foil... I had high expectations based on the pictures on the website. The taste was on par as usual, moist and delicious. We did a Lemon Cake with a cream cheese frosting and a blueberry merlot compote. But the display of the cake was less than expected. The white chocolate drip was messy and dripped over the base. The gold foil was literally just ripped and stuck on the cake. It's also came with a compote but it was mighty thick and hard to serve. I'm hoping this was just a one time thing but I'll be honest when I say I was quite disappointed in the look. Pictures show the inspiration photo and the final. For communication, there wasn't much of it. I talked to baker for design and that was about it. No reminder on time to pick up the cake, I ended up going into the store the day before to find out cause the phone was busy. The icing on the Wedding Cake cupcake was great. However - the icing on the Triple Berry Cupcake was oddly bitter? I am almost positive that this was a mistake/isolated incident because there was no reason for it to taste like that, based on the description. It was supposed to be a vanilla buttercream icing topped with fresh berries. So yeah, the odd bitter flavor made absolutely zero sense. Originally found this place as I was looking for an option for our Thanksgiving pies. Fast forward today I was in the area and decided to stop by to pickup some treats for my family. If I could give Linneybird Bakeshop 10 stars I would. Let me start with the Cinnamon Rolls (what brought me here). They are THE TRUTH, they are worth the price and wait! After I tried these I got some from another place, and ended up throwing those in the trash. The Cupcakes: so these are the freshest cupcakes I've ever had. We bought some on a Thursday, and by Sunday only one was left (Lemon) because honestly I asked my husband why he bought Lemon because I don't eat anything with lemons (not even lemons in my tea). But I bit into that Lemon cupcake and could NOT believe how amazing it was! I have so many that I like, I have added the 6-count to our eating out budget (weekly). Lastly... the cheesecake I haven't tried one in the months I've been coming here, but I just tried the Banana Pudding. Let's just say Houston we have a problem. Their cakes are amazing and perfectly moist. However, if you have to get one thing, I think you gotta get the campfire cookie.
