My friends and I did this cruise during our trip in Paris but did the non-dinner cruise. This cruise came at no charge to us as it was included in our Paris Pass. If you have a Paris Pass, do not skip this boat cruise! It's about an hour long, departing from the dock just below the Eiffel Tower. Very relaxing and let's you see all the sites from a new perspective. I really enjoyed this as we did it towards the end of our time in Paris and has already visited the sites. Seeing Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay, Musee de Louvre, etc from the water in a different scale was truly cool. Plus I saw some sites I would have never seen or known about it my time there. We went under some absolutely stunning bridges, for example, that we wouldn't have seen from the land or at least got the perspective we did. The boat is covered which was nice for us as it was a rainy, cold day when we set sail. There is an outside terrace way if you'd like to take in the sites outside though. There is a strange little contraption you hold up to your ear to hear commentary about the sites you're passing. I appreciated that greatly as I love having audio tours like that and learning a bit about new sites. read more

We took a one hour cruise without food, just sightseeing. It was very nice but they pack people in like sardines and I had to sit on a step next to my wife in a seat. Booked a ticket at 9:00 pm got there at 8:50pm and was told to wait in line. We waited around an 1 hour to board. The boat ride itself was pointless, when we got on it was too dark to see anything, we also didn't get to see the Notre Dame which wasn't disclosed before buying the tickets. The seating arrangement was also very unorganized whoever got on first was able to sit on the outer part of the boat but if not you were stuck inside. Maybe I wasn't expecting too much on a touristy dinner cruise, but I actually enjoyed the dinner with Bateaux Parisiens. It was a nice way to see some of the Paris sights at night. Our table was a little cramped and not on the window side, but we were able to see everything decently (ceiling is glass so that you can look above you). It was a little hard to take photos in there since the glare of the lights would show up on your photos, but I managed to get a couple of decent shots from my iPhone. In regards to the food, I actually enjoyed it. We had snails, duck, fois gras, and a monte blanc dessert. They also offer you wines by the glass. During the cruise, they also have live music and singers, which was a nice touch. If you are looking for a dinner cruise to explore Paris by night, you should check out Bateaux. read more

I went alone on a dinner cruise in the Seine about a week ago today. Spending the money to do this (Service Privilege) was totally worth it and amazing and beautiful. Being on the river quite literally brought me to tears to see monuments I had heard of lit up at night. The food, also, was AMAZING! A three-course meal with a set menu with choices plus many tiny additions and wines throughout! The crabmeat/avocado starter was amazing and to-die-for, and all the food was to a high standard including the dessert. Very English friendly, and a great way to see a great city for a romantic night together or to feel like an upperclass Parisian for the night. A note on where to meet: if you're ubering or taxi, have them drop you near the Eiffel Tour Carousel as that is right near the docks - I made the mistake of getting dropped on the dead opposite of the tower and almost was late. read more

This review is exclusively for the river cruise. Tickets for the cruise were included with the Deluxe Big Bus Tour I purchased. The cruise itself is decent, and will serve as a brief introduction to the city. It's exactly as advertised: this is a chill, relaxed ride since there isn't a guide or tour narration. Just sit up top and relax. Being on the river provides a different look at all the monuments and sites than if you were just on the street. Is this a must-do? Not really, especially if you've already planned to see a majority of the museums and sights. Getting on and lining up at the dock is very easy--just look for the Bateaux Parisiens signs. The area marked on the map is accurate. The staff is also very helpful. I went at around 11am on a Saturday in October, and there was little to no line. This made for a very comfortable ride since the boat itself wasn't full. read more

If you got little time to explore Paris but you still want to see some notable sights, this is the way to do it. I did the non-dinner cruise in the morning and wasn't let down when it came to the sights. It's a leisurely cruise on the Seine that affords views of not just the city, but the beautiful bridges you don't really get the time to appreciate. The boat itself wasn't too crowded, had ample room and seating and was very clean. I sat outside up top near the rear of the boat which allowed me to have a good vantage point to take pictures and enjoy the breeze. The one thing that I really wished there was more of was information. Very little information was given for the surrounding area. It would have been nice to know just a little bit more, because I had no idea what exactly I should have been looking for. This was just the right thing to ease into Paris as it was at a pace that didn't feel rushed. read more

Luxurious boat with easy entry process. We were near the front section of the boat which has a slightly better view of both sides of the river when going up and downriver. Detailed menu posted for our night. Both escargot and duck foe gras were savory; duck had a slightly liver taste to it if you enjoy that (we did) seems liver is a popular menu item in Paris. Sea bass was flavorful and made a great combination with the potatoes and turmeric which were very creamy and smooth. The veal was our favorite item in the menu as combined with the sauce and quinoa it was flavorful and cooked well. Veal had slight crunch on the outer edges but nice and soft inside easy to crew. For dessert the chocolate and praline crisp was a chocolate lovers delight. The apricot dessert was a more sweet and slightly tart flavor that I enjoyed very much. We were also provided a small cup of cafe to top off the trip! Lovely views and many people on shore and bridges wave as you pass. We took the 1815 departure and the lighting was sufficient to see things at the start of the trip and at the end we could see the Eiffel Tower with its lights on. Would take this trip again even with the price as customer service was very professional and I believe they gave us a bottle of wine included with the front section. read more

It was hard to see many of the sights as the seine sits low but a 2.5 hour smooth cruise ride was a great experience regardless. This boat tour was so terrible, my husband and I left before the boat left the dock. Any reviews on here that are positive are from people who love tourist traps (first foreign vacation) or have never eaten good food We got on the boat (tonight) for the Christmas Eve boat dinner that cost around $450 usd. We got there early per the ticket and received two courses and two glasses of wine before the boat even left the dock which was weird. The wine was cheap, the crab appetizer was not edible and the "fois gras" smelled like canned cat food It was so terrible we decided we'd rather get off the boat and waste the money than continue to eat this terrible food. We told the waiter my husband didn't feel well (wait staff was wonderful and very nice 5 stars!) Oh top of all that- despite all other boats going downtown- we were told our boat couldn't go downtown due to high water. Zero stars if I could I mean understand that it was so BAD we elected to get off the boat and throw our money away instead of sticking it out for the tour and remainder of the courses. Not my first time in Paris..... this particular boat tour on the Siene River was lousy. First off - if your on the top - second floor of the boat - there's no audio. They should have someone talking pointing out what's what. No music either. Second - they cut the trip short. Other tours will take you all the way to the Statue of Liberty - a smaller version of the one we have in NY and will give you the history. Well, this one didn't. So disappointed with this particular company. There's so many of other boat tour companies next to each other. Just avoid this one in particular. read more

I booked the dinner and cruise package for the New Year's eve 2017/2018 celebration. Prior to booking, I've read many reviews on Trip Advisor that their food isn't all that great, so I wasn't expecting much. I was more looking forward to the hour long cruise and after party. Despite being forewarned, I felt utterly disappointed in the food.The steak was so dry (although I'd ordered it to be medium) and bland, the foie gras although was served in a generous portion, was under-presented (read: slab of foie and a tiny slice of black truffle), with no much fanfare or seasoning. Salad course, and amuse bouche dishes were also lackluster and lacked seasoning. I was hangry that night. Onto the actual cruise: it departed around 11:30PM, which didn't make ANY sense to me as I'd hoped that we'd be able to face the Eiffel tower as the clock strikes. So we ended up in the middle of the Seine river, with no view of the Eiffel (from where I was sitting anyway), and there wasn't any celebration announcement. There were champagne on the boat for toasting, but you had to pay for that separately. The after party was okay. They had some good tunes up with party hats and streamers given to all guests (some had left at this point). I wish the party favors had been passed out prior to midnight so that people would be in the mood sooner. To sum it up: we paid an exorbitant amount for VERY underwhelming food, they made us missed the Eiffel tower's glistening night as midnight hits, no champagne (unless you're willing to pay more $) or party favors to celebrate at midnight. At least we were situated very close to the Eiffel so we had a great view outside the restaurant. That's something. read more

This was included as part of a city pass that we'd purchased. This was also the least detailed benefit in the package. All we knew was roughly where it boarded (near the Eiffel Tower). So after we visited the Arc de Triumphe, we walked to the Seine and located the ticket booth. We showed them our passes and were told that it was literally leaving in 5 minutes (at 3 p.m.). We boarded and still had seats on the upper deck. It was overcast and drizzled a bit in the middle of the cruise. Still, this was quite nice. I think you had the option of getting some audio-tour headset, but no one explained that and we skipped it. We just watched the on-shore sites drift by during the cruise. If you're walking through museums and all over Paris, the opportunity to take a short break for an hour and mostly sit on-deck and watch the sights is very nice! There are a number of good photo-ops from the river as well. I'm glad this was part of our package, and I'm glad we sought it out on our first full day in Paris. They offer other variants as well (dinner cruise, night cruise, etc.) and those may be even better. But for for us, this was fine. I enjoyed it. read more

Final update --- after I sent a final 'fuck you guys' email letting them know I'm going to social media the crap out of this they did finally refund the money. ** UPDATE - it gets worse. Never returned money as promised** Soon after I posted my initial review on Yelp and sent them a link to it, Sophie responded to my email stating they thought again and would in fact be able to make the refund of 60 € as I requested. I thanked her and informed her I would adjust my review accordingly once the credit was received on my credit card. 10 days later and no credit was made and no response to a follow up email I sent. Now a full 21 days later and I've had enough -- I'm done. I sent them a final email stating that if I did not get a response by mid-week confirming when the refund would occur as promised I would cut my loses and get my money out of them by posting bad reviews online. Well, here I am. So if you book with this company and everything goes as planned you'll probably have an enjoyable time. But if something goes wrong, even when they're responsible or at fault, be prepared to get shorted. Their customer service sucks. Initial review below: 1 star for customer service. On June 1st 2017 my wife and I where booked on a 2 hour lunch cruise with premiere service which is their most expensive lunch cruise option. Only when we arrived to check in did we learn the cruise had been canceled due to mechanical problems with the boat. We were offered to either rebook (which we could not do because of our schedule) or accept lunch at the onshore bistro and a regular one hour cruise afterward. We accepted lunch and the one hour cruise unaware that a full refund was also an option. In hindsight we we paid $89 for our lunch cruise per person but when we arrived at the bistro we received the same meal and service that someone who paid $59 per persons received. We were offered only wine and not champagne as advertised and we were told we could only order a starter, main, desert and ONE drink. No cheese service as advertised. We did not receive a single drink refill the entire meal even though we were drinking coke and sprite. The waiters didn't seem too interested in us like they've been through a number of these cancellations in the past, maybe it's a regular occurrence for this company. It seems to me like we have been ripped off a bit and that a partial refund of the difference between regular lunch cruise and the premier cruise should have been offered. Or had I just received a full refund I could have bought my own lunch and 1 hour cruise tickets for around $120 vs the $180 I paid for the premier lunch cruise. The bottom line is by canceling the cruise they made a larger profit and I didn't get what I paid for. I emailed their comment complain department (Sophie) three times over a one week period and never got a single response. read more

We did this for Christmas lunch and it was such a fabulous, romantic way to do it. The views from the Seine are spectacular. The food was solid and enjoyable. Nothing super spectacular food-wise--except the fun little dessert shaped like a snow covered house with a chimney. Well, I did enjoy the lentil soup, which I don't usually like. I don't know if they always do it, but they also had live music--a singer and a violinist. They also had a photographer circulating and then quickly printing up images you could buy for 15 Euros each, one of which ended up being my favorite picture from the whole trip. This was such a great idea and so glad we chose to do this for Christmas day. read more

The Seine river cruise was one of the many things my son and I were looking forward to. Him, because he's 5 and he loves riding any kind of transportation. Me, because my feet hurt and I was looking forward to a relaxing tour. The tour is about an hour long and starts at approximately the base of the Eiffel tower. By the time we took the cruise, I was already familiar with some of the sights like the Musee d'Orsay and Notre Dame but it was nice to see them from the river perspective. You also got to cruise under the bridges and get a close up look at some of the stone work (Like Pont Alexeandre III, the most ornate with black and gold trim). Pont Neuf is where a lot of the love locks were relocated so it's more like an art installation but without the danger of ruining a bridge. You can see a small part of the locks wall on the cruise too. The boat has a large outdoor section with bench seating on the top but if the weather is not good or you just don't want to sit outside, there is a indoor section as well. They have drinks and coffee available for purchase too. Before you board, they take your picture so you can purchase a memento souvenir afterward. 10Euros for an 8x10 picture. The regular cruise (non-dinner) is included in the Paris Pass, so if you go the Paris Pass route, be sure to take the cruise, it's well worth it. read more

We came here recently for a wonderful luncheon boat cruise. Not only was all of the food delicious, but the views were remarkable, the entertainment was great and the experience was seamless. We were seated beside a great couple with which we had a good discussion and it was by far the best meal of my entire trip to Paris this year. My dinner companion drank quite a bit of wine (she liked the aperitif best), while I had juice (I am not a fan of wine). The food was marvelous. We splurged on the cheese course as well (not great for my waistline clearly, but very delicious and some of the best cheese I had on this trip. Everything from the food to the commentary (in English and French) to the entertainment (violin, singing, etc.) was great. I'm rather glad we splurged on the lunch cruise. Fun cruise on the Seine on a very nice boat. Compared to some of other vessels that tour the river, this boat was very nice and modern. The whole waiting system they had us do was odd. We had to stand in line for 1.5 hours while other people came after us but it had already been sold out...yeah I'm confused on that too. BUT, it was a great trip no less. They also have tours in like 18 languages so whether you want to stand outside and snap pictures or sit inside and listen to the audio, you will find something to do. For 25 years I have described it's as the most amazing evening of my life even though I went solo. Fast forward 25 years. I am in Paris with a wonderful friend and date. We are scheduled to do to dinner on the cruise our last night in Paris. I paid extra for a private table alongside a window. I have to tell you, I was apprehensive because after 25 years of hyping the last time I went, I was afraid it would fall short. It not only did not fall short, but as I had hoped, sharing the experience only made it better. The service was great. Better than great... over the moon outstanding. The pace was excellent. The live music was excellent. There really wasn't room for a dance floor, but we stood up and danced in an aisleway. The food was excellent. The wine was excellent. On our first night in Paris, my best friend and I participated in the 8:30pm dinner cruise around the Siene River. For 2 hours we experienced excellent food, live music from 3 different artist, and made jokes with our very friendly host Flo. We had a great time to say the least. Although I wouldn't consider this a sightseeing cruise, mainly because the intimate setting was really facilitates conversation, the staff provided diners with a cute little map of the sights that could be seen from the boat while dining. There were also occasional announcements of significant statues/buildings we were approaching. What made the experience even more personal was that our waiter, Flo, would come back and point out some of his favorite places and draw our attention to sights that we might have missed otherwise. The night began with Kir, a french cocktail, and bread. The choices on the 3 course meal menu were also very diverse. You could choose from 5 different starters, entrees, and desserts. My selection included the scallops as a starter, the sautéed beef filet with truffles potatoes as a main course, and chocolate cake with a fruit ice cream. My friend chose the scallops as a starter, the sea bass filet poached in clam juice as a starter, and the fruit bundt cake. The food was cooked to perfection. The scallops were juicy and tender. The sea bass was also well cooked and seasoned. Both the starter and main course had an excellent flavor. The starter was served with a few glasses of Chardonnay while the main course was served with Corbières. Both wines blended very well with the flavors of our meals. Although we did not purchase the birthday package, the staff added a cute candle to her dessert and sang happy birthday. All in all it was a great experience. Next time I visit Paris, i would plan to take the lunch cruise so that we can see the city during the day. read more

We took out some clients for dinner on The dinner cruise. Service: the service is great. The server was on top of serving the food & wine. The glasses were always full and we knew what and how we were going to be served. Ambience: the live music and signing was great. The volume was just right and the singer walked the boat, which made everyone feel a part of it. The boat design could be better. The view from the overhead glass pane is blocked with some black paneling. That defeats the purpose of the cruise. Food: the food is average. This is a tough review to write. There are a number of pros and cons. Pros: The check in staff was very polite. The boat was clean and very well maintained. The tour passes many landmarks and offers a unique view of the culture along the river. Cons: They played American Christmas music the entire time. No, not kidding. This was July. I pointed it out to a server who chortled and giggled profusely and walked away. You get the serious feeling they're trying to "prank" the diners. Our server was very slow. He seemed to completely forget about us, even though we had paid for an upgraded table. Our dessert wasn't served until after his other tables around us had finished. We weren't offered coffee until we docked and other diners were already departing! The manager was swimming around but impossible to flag down- as we tried numerous time. All in all my impression is that the company is trying their best, but their client facing staff is poorly managed. Christmas music?? Coffee after docking?? Unfortunately we wouldn't use then again. We danced around it thinking it was going to be a boring raft ride and it turned out to be an exciting sight-seeing adventure that included Art, architecture, history and a culinary experience to delight the palette. For the price, I implore you to stay camera ready for the sites, including Notre dame, Cathedrals, tax and government builds and a view of the eiffel tower that is absolutely stunning. Also, the turn around point is at ljthe Statue of Liberty. It was a little confusing to board but literally smooth sailing after that.
