Long gone are the days of flagship stores and ALL the items. This location though is easy to access, friendly when coming in, and has a big enough selection. One of my usual "friends" is always greeting and clearly states to people if you need help just holler when it's really packed. It's not the biggest store, but they usually have what I want and it's within 10 minutes of my home and I don't need to brave the mall. I never feel pressured at this location. I will do an online pick up when it's some sort of special sale and I can't get in. Like with any app inventory system there can be errors, but I don't get upset if something that says in stock is out. My best friend recently had a very disappointing experience at this location, and sadly it's not the first time. When she arrived to pick up her order, she was not greeted or acknowledged, even though several customers who came in after her were helped immediately. Those customers--who were white--had their pickup orders handed over with no issues. In contrast, my friend was ignored at first, and when she finally received assistance, she was required to provide extra identification to prove who she was. If ID verification is the policy, that's completely fine--but it should be applied consistently to every customer. Watching some customers receive quick, friendly service while she was treated differently felt unfair and prejudicial. Experiences like this make customers feel unwelcome, and it's disappointing that it's happened more than once at this location. I hope management addresses this and ensures all customers are treated with the same respect and standard of service. read more

I ordered $153 worth of products from their semi annual sale. They mailed me a box full of trash. Yea you read that correctly. Trash. Old shipping receipts, random customers names and addresses, not one single item I ordered was delivered. I had to jump through to many hoops to receive a PARTIAL refund. (Spoke with 3 people on the phone and 4 chat robots). Was never mailed ANYTHING. I made an online order at 0837 today. I walked in the store at 430p to pick it up. I gave the young lady my order number and she said it wasn't ready. It would be ready in 3 hours and I could pick it up tomorrow. I told her that won't work and why isn't it ready. She told me they only have 3 people working and she's on the register. Or I could get the items myself which I ended up doing. I asked her if they had the Rose mini gift set, it wasn't available when I placed my order so I bought a different fragrance. She said she would check in the back, she didn't go to the back she went to the front of the store and came back and said they only had the full size. I told her you should give me that one for the inconvenience. She didn't say anything and walked away. I finally grabbed all the items and finished with her and left. I checked my bag and she didn't give me the full size set. The worst customer service I've ever experienced at a Bath and body works. It's not my problem the store isn't staffed that's the company's problem. I called the customer service number to complain, again terrible customer service. The first agent was supposedly helping me and eventually hung up. After an hour on the phone. The second agent supposedly was trying to help me, we decided I would pick up 2 mini gift sets from a different store for my inconvenience. He said he needed to charge a card for just $2.40, after 3 times of me entering the number, he asked if I could read him the card number. I was on the line with him for almost 2 hours. I said no I will not and I would complain with someone else. This was a waste of my time. If you're not going to compensate me for the terrible experience just tell me that. They gave me the run around. I spend a lot of money with this company they obviously don't care. I'm so disappointed with this company. read more

I like this location, it's very easy to find, it's not super packed very spacious inside. The scents that come from here smell amazing!!! I came here for an interview which went great! And I was able to kill time so I checked out the new scents and candles. I absolutely love the customer service here very accommodating, the ambiance is Here to help vibes and genuine even if undecided lol. The Store neatly organized, clean, restocking as you shop cool cool . I got the autumn drive but they also have a new vanilla type scent I was debating on but autumn drive smelled amazing. Nope. Never again. I ordered on-line for pick-up in store. They've emailed me "Pick up your order". I went on Thursday, sign in window says it's closed for the heat, but will be open on Friday. Went back on Friday, same thing. Went back today (Sunday, 7/17). New note, same message. If they have the technology to send emails saying "Pick up your order", why can't that send an email saying "Don't waste your time or gas. We're closed"???? 3 trips when gas is $5/gallon. They owe me. Nobody answers the phone and it won't take a message. I'm going to try to get a call in tomorrow. I will ask them to mail my package. It's not big. I'm very disappointed. They should do better. Maybe even call the customers who have orders on the Pick-up In-store shelf. It seems the least they can do. Update 07/18/2022: I just spoke with B&BW - They will not mail my package and they won't take it over to Springfield Town Center. The person to whom I spoke who identified herself as Kelly, the Assistant Manager, was rude, short and generally of no help. She did assure that the store would still be open tonight at 7:00, the earliest I can get there after work. We shall see. read more

Several years ago, I discovered this store on an impromptu shopping safari with a friend. She said she had to pick up a jar of Sweet Pea. Confused, I offered, "Eh, if you need sweet peas, shouldn't we be heading into that Giant over there?" "It's body cream, and it's fantastic!" "Is it green? Is it made out of peas? "My God, You're such a guy...Look, just keep quiet and don't embarrass me." I, like many men, had experienced this conversation before. A tongue lashing that usually results from our inability to grasp the nuance of the mysterious world of women. Yes, we might claim that we get it, but basically we're just a bunch of cavemen scratching our heads at a cover of Vogue. So, when we find a store like Bath&Body Works, we really need to just keep quiet because this place can be our salvation for oh so many birthdays, Valentine's Days, and I am sorrys We spent about 20 minutes in this spa oasis, and at the end there was a nice basket of Sweet Pea and other bath needs to show for our time. I had even purchased several bars of body soap. "Who is that for?" "Eh, me. They are big soap bars. I like the way they fit in my hands." She eyed me quizzically. "What? What's with that look?" "Nothing, I was just thinking that you might not be altogether hopeless." Yeah, that's right, ladies, this caveman can learn. Since that time, I have returned to Bath & Body Works for gift purchases ranging from birthdays to Secretary Appreciation Day. Sweet Pea body butter has most definitely been a lifesaver, for most women take to it like a cat loves catnip. And when I wasn't sure if it were the appropriate gift, the ladies behind the counter have always helped me pick out the perfect gift. In fact, they often have great sales like the Sweet Pea Body Butter, such as buy two and get three. With my caveman arithmetic, that can work out to three perfect gifts for pretty much the price of one, leaving me enough to purchase my favorite bar of soap, "Ugh, Clean Good" read more

I had no idea there was a Bath and Body Works in this shopping center!! I like B&BW for the most part. Say what you want about their prices, but they always have coupons and sales. I wonder how new this store was because it was really clean. Like REALLY clean! Which of course is a good thing... The one thing I'm not nuts about is their sales people. Solid bath and body works location just a little small. They tend to run out of a lot since it is a small store however the employees are always very pleasant and kind which keeps me coming back. My favorite location is the one in the Springfield Town Center however this one is closer to where I live so i tend to go to this one more often. overall have always had good experiences here! read more

This is only receiving a 1 star because I have no choice this store is literally like -10. Terrible customer service! Walked in and a worker literally looked at me, stuck her hands in her pocket and walked to the back. Roamed the store for at least 20 minutes before anyone said anything and then proceeded to struggle to find things while the workers laughed and joked about buying Girl Scout cookies. Smh. I went today for candle day, and I had such a good experience even though it was packed. One sales associate went out of her way to go find me the last candle on my list(I can't remember her name but she was tall with blond hair) and the cashier was really nice even though I got the candles stuck in the cardboard crate and we had to fight to get them out. There was a associate there who had the day off and she was super kind and nice while we waited outside. The B&B W store at this location is well organized and employees immediately come to assist you if you look a little lost in the store. I am a huge fan of the assortment of candles especially the sale that was going on for the 3 wick candles. However, right when I was about to check out an employee was giving me particularly a hard time. They repeatedly asked me for my phone number even though I told them I have never signed up for the rewards program. read more

Love the store and the products (5 stars) but was recently very disappointed with my shopping experience. Spent over $140 but forgot to bring my coupon. Was told no problem, bring it next time with the receipt. I did so the following day only to be told that the coupon expired ...yesterday. I said my purchases were made yesterday and the coupon was valid yesterday. Why couldn't these be matched? And why wasn't I alerted to return to the store the same day with the coupon? Very nice store- I went there recently for the 1st time to buy a few items, I had a coupon I wanted to use. I was disappointed when they didnt have the items I was looking for in stock (wallflower refills double packs- which were on sale and it would have been cheaper to buy them in the packs vs buying the, seperate) The saff were nice and helpful. Had a terrible experience yesterday. I arrived to do after Christmas candle shopping and I opened the door about 6 inches before an extremely rude young woman with dark hair in a ponytail in a really angry and annoyed way snapped her fingers at me and told me to " please get out until she had time to deal with me." In those exact words. I quietly waited outside confused, watched three people leave, her finish laughing with other co-workers prior to remembering me about 5 minutes later and opening the door and saying I was "good now." I walked around for a few minutes and felt still so upset about my treatment that I just grabbed the first candle and special and checked out of there fast. I visit these stores when I am happy and looking to spoil myself and spend money. Having such a nasty encounter before even entering is uncalled for and not a way to treat your customers. It's unusual because every Bath and Body works I've ever been to has smiling happy faces that offer to help upon entry. Not at this location though. Just be mindful of your employees with aggressive attitudes and don't place them at the front of the store. She ruined my whole perspective of the customer service here. read more

There were two clear lines for check out, then she takes the lady in the other line next instead of me with no explanation, then doesn't give me a bag or coupons.
