Not a smile, not a greeting and definitely not professional. We immediately decided that we would just get a refund and were told that it would only be a store credit. We asked if the credit could be used at a different Armstrong location and was promptly told no by the same rude, store supervisor/manager. We chose to do the exchange and stated that we would never shop at this store again. The rude supervisor dismissed us with a wave of her hand and face full of continuing attitude. Very disappointed!! I have not been in the store for several years because I just can't get around in there. I'm wondering when Dept stores are going to catch up and start taking care of those who can't shop because they can't walk well. I had to return some shoes that I ordered online because they carry such a limited supply of everything. Then I will try to get to the shoe department to see if I can find something that did fit that I liked and I could not initially I finally found a pair just like what I returned in the size that fit me better and guess what they would not give me the sale price that I paid online. The cost is gonna be almost double! So I left the shoes there and I will just be barefoot before I will order shoes from them again! The shoes are easy spirits and I don't know if it's easy spirit that's got the problem or who but the sizes do not jive. For instance, I need a 9 1/2 wide. But the ones I bought online fit like a size 12 extra extra wide. So I returned them and I tried on a 10 medium because I wanted to compare that to what I just returned in the 9 1/2. The 10 fit me real nicely so then I said well there's a 9 1/2 medium and they were too big. I don't know if they've got a drunk just slapping on sizes or what but I'm going to easy spirit next and leave them a review. The other thing I noticed is that pennies has some really pretty dresses but they're made out of some kind of weird material that has no give. It feels soft but when you put it on, you're not gonna be able to move your arms very well unless it's too big for you. and they're not cheap either. I don't know if they just run out of Lycra or what. I wanted to buy a purse, but shopping in this place is just not fun anymore. I left empty-handed. They are carrying the minimalist fad too far. It's like shopping in a hospital from the 60's. Sterile and uninviting.

In the past I've dropped in and not found any good deals. Maybe it was due to the change in seasons but this store had lots of great deals on my most recent visit. I was able to find two nice zip up jackets for $21.99 each, which I felt was a steal. The employees were very helpful and even offered me a bag, which I originally was going to decline but the sales associate must have seen the dollar signs in my eyes as I was looking around the store. Since this store is so close to me, I will definitely be back to check out their deals more often.
