The owner Gus is great. He is the best plant doctor. I brought my ZZ plant in to his store for a consultation and he repotted it in a clay pot with fresh cactus soil and taught me how to prevent root rot from my unfortunate overwatering. He taught me how to water my plants appropriately using a spray bottle versus pouring liquid directly onto the soil. Gus picked out a Snake plant for two ceramic containers of mine that had been sitting empty for over a year. Now I have two Snake plants in my bedroom and I love it. Gus potted the Snake plants with cactus soil and taught me how to water them appropriately. I highly recommend Off Broadway Floral Events for any plant needs! read more

Cannot say enough great things about this place and Gus in particular. I had a huge career milestone happen to me and was bummed that I couldn't celebrate with coworkers or family due to covid. Apropos of nothing I said to myself "I'm going to visit that florist I keep meaning to check out." I dropped by, had a pleasant conversation and picked out a few plants (a snake plant, a croton, and an air plant). Gus provided the best service I could have asked for, including giving me detailed instructions on how to care for each plant. When I told him it was my first time in his shop, he introduced himself as Gus, which is the same name as my grandfather who raised me. I bought this super cute piece that may have been a candle holder, but i was determined to find some succulents that would fit! The piece I bought made it hard to find succulents that fit since it had deep holes for the pots but was also quite narrow. I'm so lucky I found this place because the owner decided to go out of his way and put rocks and moss in with the succulents to fill it in and it turned out amazing!! He was able to translate the pictures I gave him into bouquets that were more beautiful than I could have imagined. He was also extremely helpful when I came in and changed my mind about what I wanted. I only the got the personals (bouquets, corsages, bouts) and they were very reasonably priced. Summary: VERY reasonable price. HIGHLY skilled florist. As part of an Asian tradition, I was scheduled for an engagement photo shooting session with my wedding gown. Stopped by over the summer to purchase some plants for my terrace. The items I purchased included a pepper plant, snake plant and a cabbage which were all reasonably priced. Viviano who was working that day was very knowledgeable about what plants were ideal for my sunlit terrace and offered suggestions on when to water them and what temperature to take them indoors.
