Have to say this is the first time I've ever been to a Bath & Body Works where I was able to find the items I wanted and had free coupons for as well. I also had some items to exchange which I received assistance finding from a great staff member-Gwen-making my transaction quick and easy. I can honestly say I thought Gwen was knowledgeable, friendly and professional making my experience easy and because of her assistance I will be returning for holiday items. Overall the store gets 3/5 -some items out of stock & a few employees were clueless Ease of transaction-5/5 for free items & exchange's thanks to Gwen Overall I'm giving a rating of 5/5 mainly due to the friendly assistance and service I received from Gwen which I can say I have never gotten at any of the chains stores! read more

Admittedly, I'm a B&BW fanatic. I love their candles, lotions, wallflowers, everything. This particular B&BW has a great location in the Avenue at White Marsh. But the employees. I know they're just doing their job. And they're always really nice. But they are so overbearing. You can come in, already knowing what you want to buy. Or you can come in just to browse. And they will stalk you like a used car salesman and push all of their products on you. Again, it's their job. I get it. But it's pretty overwhelming when you're just trying to get what you need and they're trying to get you to buy a thousand more things. And they try to have you smell everything. At one point, I told an employee that I was getting a headache because she was having me smell too many different scents. So the bottom line: love the products, and love the fact that the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. But hate the fact that they're so overbearing. read more

I personally enjoy attending this B&BW the most. Mainly because it's convenient and most B&BW are in a mall. Also all of the employees are very nice and friendly. The items that they have are in a feast quantity so you don't have to worry about anything bring out of stock. The only downfall, which I have an issues with ALL B&BW is that you can't read the receipt. Why are the items all number coded? Also they can scan by quantity, so you could buy 30 hand sanitizers and they will come up separately on the receipt. read more

My second home! I'm phasing out Yankee Candles because the throw isn't strong and lasting. BBW candles are much better. The candles are pricey, so I wait for sales and coupons. The sales crew are all nice and very helpful. No pressure sales. They recommend new items and aren't pushy. The store is well stocked and organized. I have a shelf in my linen closet dedicated to BBW. Yes, it's that bad, but so good. Lotions, scrubs, sprays, hand soap, candles...oh my! A girl needs an intervention. Parking can be difficult at times. Take a moment to pamper yourself. Light a candle, find a lovely scented lotion, glass of wine, and a hot bath. read more

Yup, I am a guy, but even a guy like some sweet smelly things!!! Why should my hands smell like Ivory or Irish Spring. You ever take a bite of a PPJ with your hands smelling like Irish Spring... YUCK!!!! That thought alone can kill my appetite!!! They can be expensive, but you can still enjoy their products if you are a savvy shopper and consumer!!! I love their foaming hand soaps, and while they can be expensive, you can get a great deal there as well. Usually they are $5 each, but are frequently on sale 4 for $15 or 6 for $20. Plus we had a coupon, get $10 off of your minimum purchase of $30. Don't tell Bath & Body Works this though, but to make them even more affordable, I pour 1/3 of the bottle into an empty at home and then fill it with water. They still foam, they still clean, and they go a heck of a lot further!!! If they ever found out, Bath & Body Works would seal the container shut. read more

No one greeted me initially upon arrival although sales associate Mechan was close by. Mechan checked me out and wasn't abruptly rude, but certainly didn't refrain from giving me an attitude. Not a pleasant experience, but tolerable. Otherwise the store was neat and I had no other issues. Wouldn't choose to come back to this store. read more

Not bad... This is a typical Bath & Body Works. They have all of the same merchandise as any other store and the same buy-in-bulk-and-save deals. Staff was friendly and slightly overbearing and kept trying to push their products on me and abuse the holiday shopping spirit but it's fine. They're just doing their job. read more

I had The worst customer service experience EVER at this store today. First, Bob (the manager)stood in front of a display of candles as I attempted to browse the selection. Bob informed me that he would move out of my way once he "finished" what he was doing. He, very simply, could have moved to not only complete what he was doing but to also allow me to clearly see the selection of candles. After he finished, I asked a few questions about candles and was given very sharp answers. I selected a candle and asked if he could use the remote device to complete my transaction. He told me that me could not and actually assisted another customer after denying my request to finalize my sale. I walked to the front of the store and asked the cashier (a very friendly woman) for contact information to a regional representative. She provided me with a card to the customer service center. Bob's attitude toward me was unacceptable and completely offensive. Perhaps the most disappointing part is that he was the person in charge. Bob made it very obvious that the establishment did not value me as a customer. I am very disappointed in this experience and will NEVER spend another dime at this location. read more

Well, to start out by saying they even deserve one star... that would be pushing it. The managers are rude to customers and ignore you so it really sets the mood for the other employees that work there. The only thing nice about this store is, what I can imagine to be the over priced remodel for the underpriced help. This store use to be one I wanted to go to. Love this store very much! the only thing keeping this from getting 5 stars is the overbearing employees. I know they are just trying to meet their quotas but i'm a big girl. I'm a loyal B&BW customer and have been to more stores than I can count. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a employee or blatantly lied to. I had a coupon on my phone from RetailMeNot (the same coupon I'd gotten in an email) and the associate snarky replied they don't accept coupons on RetailMeNot, BUT she'd do it this time to be "nice". I said I could pull the email one up, but she told me she'd honor it. Then she wanted me to sign up for MORE emails from B&BW, to which I refused because I already get them and they send out at least 3 a day already. Her tone, amazingly, was even more off putting and clearly she needs more customer service skills. Her tone could easily turn away other customers. Won't visit this location again. read more
