This store smells heavenly, and there are many options to stock up for your next self-care day. One of the best perks of stopping in is that you can request a sample of any item that you want to try before buying. I didn't have any particular item in mind that I wanted to purchase so I inquired about 4-5 different products. Part humorous/part odd about 3 of the items I asked about the associate did not recommend. At the end of my visit I left with 2 eye treatments, powder deodorant, and a sample of an under eye treatment for dark circles. I visited this establishment today because I was told by a colleague that their bath bombs were excellent and natural! I must admit, when I walked into this place, I was hit in the face with fantastic customer service!! The store is so neatly stocked, everything is where it supposed to be, there are plenty of items for men women and children! I purchased several bath bombs! I'm looking forward to returning back to try and some of their skin care items!! My only gripe is the cost! But they say, you get what you pay for and if the quality items are half the quality I think they are, they were well worth it! read more

I would have liked for a staff member to come in and check in but I kinda roamed around for a quick second before stepping out. LUSH inside of Towson Town Mall is amazing. Great customer service and nice array of products for diff skin types. When you first walk in, the sales reps greet you, when done assisting customers whom where there before you, they come to help you! The sales reps are very knowledgable about all their products. What certain ingredients do for the skin, what product may be best for your skin or your preferences. The demos are out of this world. Like a minature hand massage in the mall; all while they yell you the properties of the product. I always end up laughing and chatting with a sales associate, it seems like they enjoy working there. The array of product is huge. Shampoo, conditioner, bath bombs, face masks, gift boxes, scents, oils, pigments, toners, face/body cleansers-AND ITS ALL NATURAL! With little to preservatives. The products may have a short life span, of about 3 weeks, but I always use the products way past their expiration date. The only thing I've noticed with that, is the product doesn't work as well. Still works, just a bit less effectively. DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE FREE SAMPLES! You can get samples of anything and everything. Walk out with a sample of everything from the store. I bet they will gladly pack it for you and send you on your way with a smile. Love this place. Angel's on Bare Skin has been my face wash for about 2 years now. I was introduced to Lush two years ago and have been in love every since!!! There hasn't been a Lush store that I've been into that has given me poor service. Recently, I've been frequenting the LUSH- Towson location. The associates there - All of them are SUPER friendly! Angel has been helping me nearly every Friday I go in, and introduced me some amazing new fragrances. Jess put me on the list of keep me abreast to when my fave Rose Jam would be in stock. And this week I didn't get the name of the young lady who gave me a soap sample and the lush catalog! I can go on and on about Lush! If you have the opportunity- also visit the spa in Philadelphia!! This is one of the smaller Lush stores that I've ever been in. The only downside to it being so much smaller is that it seems like they don't have everything available all the time, which is a little bit of a bummer. I always go to Lush with a shopping list so that I don't end up spending $500 at a time. Yesterday's list had 7 things on it, and this store only had 4 of those 7 things. Oh well. As soon as I hit the door, there was no welcome to lush or anything else said, she just said you need to use the hand sanitizer before touching the product. She was rude about it and never even bothered to look up from her book she was at the register never came from behind the register. Yeeeeeeeees for Luuuuuuush! I'm a Lush junkie, so whenever I find one in the town I'm visiting, I head over there in a heartbeat. A co-worker and I thought the Lush was a stand-alone store, but it was inside the mall. She doesn't care for malls and I was dressed in my pajamas, but we went in anyway and we're so happy we did. I successfully converted my friend to Lushism. We were greeted by all three people working. The one with the green and yellow hair said hello and welcomed us in, but then disappeared into the back. They seemed nice, though. ^_^ Then, we were treated to lots of samples by Haille and Kayley (Kaile? sp? I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name!) They were so so so nice and friendly. Customer service was totally on point today and they were adorable! Typically wonderful Lush store. Lots of floral and herbal smells to clear your sinuses. Testers here and there. I soooo wanted to buy a coffee massage bar and some bath bombs, but we're traveling at the moment. Had to hold off on that because some stuff just doesn't travel well. Although, we did get little samples of their Cupcake and Oatifix fresh face masks. They smell amazing and made our skin feel like heaven. Lush is a godsend. read more

This Lush location hardly has any stock...Not to mention the first thing that was said to me by the one worker in the store who was at the cash register when I walked in was "I'm going to need you to sanitize!" She was not welcoming or caring. Also, I had gotten a coffee before going into Lush, so as I was browsing the slim selection I went to take a sip of my coffee when nobody else was nearby (so I had to pull down my mask) and the same worker said "please pull your mask up or you'll be asked to leave." I'm a guy that's over 6 ft tall and built like a football player, but you know what, I love Lush products! Lol Every time I come to this location, it seems like I'm welcomed with open arms. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful although I always come in knowing what I want as I walk straight towards the bath bombs and soaps. This particular location was one of the first places I visited after returning from my one year tour to Afghanistan. I needed to unwind and had been thinking of a nice, hot, Lush-infused bath for months. I used to work at a Lush in NYC so I'll admit I'm a little biased but I do love their products. For the scent-sensitive; beware! You can smell Lush stores from a block away and the smell hits you like a ton of bricks when you go inside. But if you can handle it without getting a migraine then it's worth a look around. Lush is all about customer service so if you're new to the products be sure to let a salesperson guide you around. A lot of the items aren't what you might expect (that table of what looks to be candy is actually bubble bath!) and the employees are trained and can give you specific recommendations on what might work best for you. The products are not cheap but the company is committed to sustainability, fair labor practices, and being as eco-friendly as possible so I think it's worth it. The shampoo bars are a particularly good buy since they last foreeeeeeever. They're great when traveling too! I'm a big fan of the Towson location; it's more spacious than some Lush stores I've been to and the staff has consistently been helpful and knowledgeable. They also remembered me on my second visit which always earns extra points in my book. If you've got a little bit of time ask for a hand treatment; you'll leave feeling soft, smelling great, and (most likely) carrying a heavy bag and a lighter wallet. read more

I absolutely love this Lush location in Towson. I am new(ish) to the area so I wasn't sure if this had recently opened or not, but I was surprised that nobody had reviewed it yet. In Towson Town Center, this Lush location is on the medium-sized side, but the store is bright, clean, and always has a great music selection. The staff is very helpful, particularly if you haven't been there before. Customer engagement is huge at all Lush locations, so if you are feeling crowded a simple "I'm just looking" will normally cue the staff to give you room to browse at your leisure. However, if you are going in with specific questions/looking for recommendations, they are fantastically knowledgeable about all of the products in the store and I never feel like they are trying to rush me so they can get on to the next customer. My Favorite Products: Honey I Washed The Kids Soap-Smells absolutely amazing, and doesn't strip your hands dry. Bubble Bars- Gives tons of bubbles that last way longer than any liquid bubble bath i've seen Aqua Mirabilis- Awesome exfoliating bar that leaves your skin incredibly smooth and moisturized. Their prices are high, but I have found that the products last much longer than less expensive ones, plus you are paying for very high quality and ethical/environmentally friendly products! read more

I am hyper sensitive and allergic to everything. Like, if there is an apocalypse, I'll be the first to die. What does that have to do with Lush? Well, lots! I've always loved Lush, the smell drives you in. I love the fact that their products are vegetarian, handmade, and no animal testing. I read the ingredients of every product I buy to put on my skin (for allergies, duh), but I am still super apprehensive to try anything. Well, at the encouragement of the staff (super friendly and wonderful!) I decided to try a face soap that I was drawn to (because, the smells!!). The staff cut me a smaller piece, made sure that I was aware their policy is I can return it in 30 days if I break out (which is the best thing ever!). The carrot bar of soap gave me a rash and made a mess . Only lasts for 2 uses . Lush should make a way for the color of the soap to not stain or leave a mark on your white bathtub . Let me start off by saying that I am a Lush fanatic. This location, however, is the worst that I have ever been to. I have been to this location multiple times because I attend the university in the area and go there when I am absolutely out of other options. (I do not like to online shop at Lush because I like to browse, smell and appreciate the option to cut the soap sizes to my liking). This location has the worst customer service. I am never greeted when I walk into the store, nor does anyone offer me any assistance. The ladies that work there stand and talk amongst themselves. As someone that used to work in customer service, this is a big pet peeve. When you're at work, you should be dedicated to the customers and not socializing with your coworkers about the latest trends and music. Customers should be greeted and feel welcomed. This Lush location fails in this section. I always feel like I'm bothering them when I disturb their conversations to ask a question or ask for a piece cut down. BUT HELLO I THINK IT WOULD BE AGAINST THE RULES IF I TRIED TO CUT SOMETHING MYSELF. Today, my friend and I walked around the store for about 20 minutes searching for Dark Angels and no one ever asked if we needed assistance or how we were doing. One of the workers with turquoise hair continuously side-eyed us as to watch and make sure we weren't stealing... but never said a single word to us. This is what prompted us to leave the store and call Lush's customer service. I will not be visiting this location anymore. I would much rather travel to the NICER locations such as Pentagon or Georgetown before stepping foot in Towson Mall's Lush. I would even opt to try online. read more

definitely do not go to this lush if you're black. you will be followed and will not be greeted as well as eerily and hatefully watched. i walked in and immediately greeted both workers one of which was at the front and another at the back. the woman in the back of the store with pink highlights + pink eyebrows and was matched with a bleak stare followed with a very stale hello. mind you i was definitely loud and welcoming as any person walking into a store may be when saying hello. she then proceeded to follow me and my friend and when we (my friend and i) were having a private conversation around how we were surprised at how inexpensive the lip scrubs were because lush is usually pretty pricey she proceeded to interject and say "yea they're gonna be expensive because they have x y z materials and that's not even the most expensive thing in the store" it was very weird and unnecessary especially because we were talking about how inexpensive the items were. she also greeted every other customer as they walked in unlike us (whom she watched walk into the store and even walk up to her). every other customer was white. she also came over to me when i was looking at the lip scrubs because i had said, mind you i said this to myself i was not loud at all she was literally in a corner watching me, "lip scrub testers??" because that's nasty and she immediately came over and told me they're just for smelling and that i shouldn't use them even though that's very disgusting to do and got very close into my space it was a very nasty experience. definitely not a safe space for black people, don't got unless you like to get followed and watched around a 7x15 box. read more

Salespeople are super helpful and non-pressuring, and really take the time to talk to you about products. There's no pressure to buy products, and they give you samples if you're unsure. All in all, I LOVE their products and end up getting many of the things I try on :) The only thing I would change is to make the store bigger, I've seen lines almost out the door! read more

What started as a hunt for bath salts, turned into something much more. When i first arrived, i wasn't greeted by anyone. A shorter worker was helping someone but everyone else was standing behind the register or walked to the back. The shorter worker, who I learned was named tori, included me in her demo with a mother and her two daughters. After she finished helping them, she asked my preferences. She was spot on! I love earthy scents and purchased nearly 4 of the five things she offered my nose. Then we had a discussion about facial skin care. She preformed a demo using celestial, toner and a cleanser containing almonds. She offered to prepare me samples but her great customer service and intuitiveness had me willing to commit to purchases. She invited me to call the store in a week for some more earthy smelling bath bombs and melts. She also wanted a full review on my new purchases. She was awesome!!! This was my first lush experience, and i will be returning!!! I just wish they sold candles. Maybe i missed them. read more

It's expensive, but I don't even care. The customer service is great. They're so enthusiastic about their products, but not pushy. And their products are so more more luxurious and smell better than your typical Bath and Bodyworks type garbage. I have seriously sensitive skin and I tried their massage bar, which smells amazing, and has not made me itch at all. They also gave me a little magazine which tells about all the products they offer and their efforts in giving money to charitable causes and their commitment to animal welfare (most products are vegan, one line is made with honey, if that is important to you. They also discuss the diminishing bed population and how their use of honey impacts that.) now that I know about what is available, I will be back ASAP! read more

Every time I walk into this LUSH store I am overcome with sincere and warm greetings from the employees. I can't say enough how AMAZING the customer service is here. Some people may get annoyed, and think that it's hassling to have people constantly checking in on you. Though, as a long time retail worker, I love it. It's always so nice to have, and be able to appreciate, good customer service. I feel like they appreciate my business, and actually care about my shopping experience. They're ALWAYS more than willing (and also excited and totally interested) in helping explain/find products for you. I love Lush products; I buy bath bombs on a regular basis and love to try their new stuff, but I just had the worst customer service experience ever at this store and I don't think I'll ever return. I went in to try one of the pigments in "Strong" and fell in love with it, but I didn't buy it because there was an awful sales woman who snatched it out of my hands. She said that she had to take it away and that she couldn't sell it anymore because I didn't swatch a tester. Mind you, the testers are located underneath of the display in an unmarked drawer. How on Earth was I supposed to know that? If she wasn't so rude about my mistake, she would have learned that I fully intended to buy the pigment and my usual haul of bath bombs. I wish that I caught her name because usually it isn't the store as a whole. I fully recommend Lush products, but I definitely think you should opt to go to a different store to make your purchase, or buy online if it's more convenient. My visit today was nice after a problem with a cosmetic store on the same level. Kaley (I am probably spelling that wrong!) was so helpful and had suggestions for a complimentary product and even gave me a sample.
