    3-wick candle display

Who doesn't love Bath and Body Works? They have something for everyone. They always have sales and special offers throughout the year but especially after Christmas. I like to load up on their Candy Apple after the holidays. I absolutely LOVE their annual candle sale where you can score one of their 3-wick candles for only $10. I really load up at that sale. This location is easy to get to in the mall. It's right by the food court so there's lots of accessible parking. They did a great job practicing social distancing during the holiday and had a line at the front to only allow a certain number of customers in the store at a time. Made it much easier to shop on candle day. They have scents for everyone. It's a great place to find a gift or a special treat for yourself. You can never have too much lotion so I always load up during the sales. They currently have a rewards program where you earn points based on the purchase amount. You can redeem the points for product in their store. I love this location! It's easily accessible, organized, and has helpful staff. This will be my go to Bath and Body Works store from now on!

I went to an Waist bead event my friend invited me to at Happy Kat candles & Gifts. This event was for people to come and make a personalized waist bead. The event cost $25 and it was from 6pm-8pm At the event the host supplied some snacks and drinks for us. There was music playing and she supplied all of the items we needed to make our own waist beads. She had a variety of bead colors for us to choose from. We were socially distanced while making our waist beads. The host played a game with the customers while we were making our waist beads to pass the time. I arrived a little late to the event but it didn't stop me from making my beads I was still welcomed and there was no time limit to completed your beads. While we socialized and played games and made our waisted beads the time flew by. It was a nice event to get around people and do something fun especially after a long day of work and it be something relaxing and entertaining. After I made my beads the host helped me tie them and explained how to put it on and off. This event was really nice and I will be coming back again to make another one to get a variety of waist beads for my outfits.

I rarely leave unfavorable reviews, especially for a business that I have patronized for years, but…read morethis experience was disappointing enough that I feel it should be shared. I will start by saying the customer service and products have always been phenomenal here, this is what kept me a customer of theirs for so many years. This experience is definitely worth their customers knowing and making their own decisions about how they spend their money. I recently sent my son to TAJ Essentials to purchase the fragrance oil I have bought from this business many times. I told him that I normally pay approximately $50 for my bottle. He relayed that information when making the purchase. When I received the oil, I immediately noticed that the bottle was half the size I normally receive, yet I had still been charged $50. I contacted the business because I initially thought there had simply been a mistake. I was told that their prices had increased. I certainly understand that businesses periodically raise their prices. My concern is not that a price increased--it is the substantial difference between what I was charged and what the business was advertising. I went directly to the TAJ Essentials website to verify the pricing. At the time of my purchase and complaint, their website showed the 16 oz Miss Dior Rose & Roses fragrance oil for $50 and the 8 oz bottle for $35. My receipt, however, shows that I was charged $50 for an 8 oz/240 mL bottle. I provided this information and the screenshots to the business. A manager later contacted me and explained that their prices had increased and that they were in the process of changing the website. What concerned me even more was being told that if I ordered the same product through their website, I could still purchase it at the advertised website price, but because my purchase was made inside the store, the higher in-store price would stand. That explanation makes absolutely no sense to me. If a 16 oz product is publicly advertised by the business for $50, while an 8 oz bottle is advertised for $35, I do not believe a longtime customer should be expected to simply accept being charged $50 for the 8 oz bottle without clear disclosure--particularly after bringing the discrepancy directly to management's attention. I gave TAJ Essentials the opportunity to review and resolve this before leaving a review. Unfortunately, after speaking with both the owner and management, they chose not to correct the matter. I am attaching the photographs, website screenshots, and my receipt so that anyone reading this review can see exactly what I am referring to and make their own determination. After years of patronizing this business, I expected better communication, transparency, and customer service. Price increases happen. Charging a substantially different price from the price your own business is actively advertising--and then telling a customer that the advertised price is available online but not for the purchase they just made in your store--is an entirely different issue. That is why I am disappointed, and why I am leaving this review.

Taj Essentials - As you can see this 8 ounce bottle was not full and neither was it what they advertise on their website.
