When I first arrived Jaliza greeted me with a smile, asked me if she could help, took the time to hear my concerns and then helped me pick out products that were right for me. She educated me on proper use, and what I might expect after starting use. In the past I have used and liked the M-61 exfoliating pads - so I was drawn to trying other items from their line. I have sensitive acne prone skin and have always struggled to find products that would keep my acne at bay - while also not creating new issues. I'm now using the M-61 PowerGlow Pro+ Cleanser every 3 days and my skin is just radiant! I was thankful that she told me not to use it daily, as I think it would really dry out my face.. but it works like a charm! 10/10. I was suffering with really deep blemishes along by chin, and struggling to treat them.. now I'm preventing them. Took a total 180!! She suggested the M-61 blemish lotion for spot treating, I think this product really helped to reduce the blemishes I had in the beginning, it worked really fast but wasn't overly strong. Lastly, I decided to give the M-61 tinted perfect sunscreen a go.. it's been great! I'm not one to wear foundation, I prefer a light tinted sun protection in its place. The line is 100% paraben free, synthetic fragrance free, and allergy tested... she knocked this one out of the park! I can't wait to visit her when it's time for a new supply to see how else she can improve my daily routine.

I was on the hunt for the Huda Beauty powder and was happy to see they had it in stock. The only issue? I wasn't totally sure which shade would match my skin tone. The beauty advisors were incredibly helpful, one of them even mentioned she loved the same product, and another took the time to help me find the perfect shade. That kind of hands-on help makes such a difference. I was also looking for a specific travel-size perfume spray, and they actually went in the back to check inventory and other stores to really track it down for me. Unfortunately, they didn't have it, but I found something really similar that worked just as well. They also ran out of one of my favorite glosses, but I spotted the last one near the register (small wins!). To help with the inconvenience of not having the spray I originally wanted, they offered me another sample size, which I really appreciated. The store itself was clean, organized, and well-staffed plenty of support without feeling overwhelmed. Honestly, the team here was friendlier than my hometown location (Mayfair Mall). She displayed a lackluster attitude and very little customer interaction. I felt like I was buying cigarettes instead of a fine fragrance and the ONLY REASON I decide to purchase any way besides being last minute was to flex on these #03$. The price was good but I expected to be treated like a customer in a perfume store and at least offered similar fragrances besides the cheap discount fragrances cause I spent over $40 (I spent double). Upon walking in the ladies at the counter were polite but short and pointed me to the right direction for hair extensions. After 10 min of getting confused and wandering around I found a clerk in front of me asking what I was looking for, she was polite but direct. I explained exactly what I needed and she went to find it. For the next 30min I asked the clerks all manner of questions about clip-ins, sew-ins, wigs, braid hair, care products and they pointed me to the right isle or came to help me. Their knowledge was spot on. They seemed to warm up some, but they were following me around the store, whether or not they followed me because they didn't trust me or to be helpful, it's of no consequence. I didn't feel it to be threatening or racist. They were helpful but I would say weary. This might be why... Three days later I came back for more things after some research - while I was in the store a group of drunk and high women walked in, they were rabblerousing and very loud, they were so drunk the whole huge store smelled of them long after they left, their interactions were absolutely shocking and they were ridiculous! They then verbally accosted these 2 clerks and stormed out after not finding what they wanted. The driver of their car was drinking and so was everyone else in their car. It was a Tuesday, not even noon yet. I was upset, I think the clerks were a bit shocked too. I asked a lot of questions- my hunch was these women are weary because maybe they have bad customers frequently- unsure. I don't know why this allowed but I felt very bad for them. No idea how they protect themselves, but this isn't a terrible area on South Blvd. Charlotte didn't used to be this way. I don't blame the store staff for following customers, besides the place is huge and full of so much, it is helpful to have them available to show you where items are. To close, this store is vast and they have an extensive amount of hair supplies at fantastic prices! It's a real gem. I saw lots of jewelry and makeup here as well! I cannot wait to go back.

I asked a question about human hair, they pointed in the direction of the hair and seemed to be afraid to come from behind the counter, they acted annoyed and were rude. it's so frustrating to have these Asian people operating in black communities, they make it clear they do not like you; it's just disgusting. They just want our money. Not all Asians who work in black communities are like that, so I don't want to label them all as anti-black. One thing is for certain I will never go back to that place
