Once you get past the long wait in line (I'm all for Social Distancing) the shopping experience with the Associates floating around is great. As long as there is a sale, I'm picking up my go-to items. I'm starting to notice each location has a slightly different layout, yet inventory is the same & fully stocked. I was able to use all of my coupons & earn points. To that end, when I'm in Cali the stores apply your purchases for points in store. Everywhere else, you have to call Customer Service to get your points added to your account. You can always redeem online, yet saving the $6 shipping fee is a bonus if you want to shop in-store. Went to Arbor Place Mall, Bath and Body Works to pick up a Valentine's Day gift. Everything started out pretty good until I needed some assistance finding a particular fragrance. The associate who assisted me said that the Dark Kiss frangenace was not carried any more, but I should try another frangence, into the night was very similar. So I said cool. She took me to where it was located and I asked if she could make a gift bag and she said yes. Then the weirdest thing happened. Another associate came over to where we were standing and so they just standing talking about some IG social media post on the associates phone that was assisting me. So I am standing looking at the both of them trying to figure out if I was getting punked..after about 4 minutes, the second associate tells the lady, I think he needs your help. I was bewildered.., and strangely amused. It must be a young people thing, because she turned to me and continued to assist me as if the twilight moment had not happened. To be fair she did complete the sale with me with better customer service and even gift wrapped the product..Other than that, I like the candles they offer and the other products are a great way to let your loved one know they are loved without breaking the bank... read more

I bought some car air fresheners from Bath & Body Works and just from my 20 minute drive to work it melted with out me knowing but when I came back to my car on my break the oil from inside leaked out ran down my dashboard into my touchscreen and the paint from my dash came off. I mostly shop at B&BW for their aromatherapy lines. They have one called Stress Relief. It calls my name and comes in a variety of scents with Eucalyptus Tangerine or Sandalwood Rose being my favorites. The Sleep versions really work. I think my entire family uses several products from the Sleep line. I keep wanting to try the Black Chamomile version, but its always sold out at this location. Maybe its been discontinued and no one knows, but as my usual version I go with the Vanilla Lavender. I've use the sugar scrub, shower gel, lotion, body cream, pillow mist and had a couple of the Wallflowers (plug ins) and they could sell this one line only and I'd be a lifelong customer. Generally there is a sale going on, buy 2 get 2 free, buy $30 get $10 off , 6 for $24 etc and I don't think I've ever gone to shop at any location and didn't get coupons for my next visit after a transaction. I will say to stay away from the car fresheners disc gel thingys. I bought two and I either I didn't put them in the holder correctly or they were stale from the beginning, but they never freshened up my car. If you are a hand sanitizer junkie, then this is the place to go. Generally the purse size ones are 5 for $5 The staff is usually helpful in pointing out where something is in the store, but I don't really need their help. Im not a big fan of their candles, but most people love them. 3 wick candles and generally they are on sale at 2 for $22 If you are sensitive to scents, fragrance, even a browse though these stores will get to you. She just called to follow-up and was told that they had a computer glitch that day and MANY orders were not processed,even though she received a confirmation email. I come to this store frequently. Usually the customer service is good; like if I can't find a coupon, the clerk will locate one for me to use or help me look for what I'm needing. However, today, I bought some candles and forgot to get boxes for them. I went back and asked one of the employees walking around if I could get a box & was told they were out of them. I turn to leave and notice boxes on the top shelves and showed them to her. She has the nerve to tell me those are for display only. Huh?! Like you'd rather have empty boxes on display than provide good customer service and a pleasant shopping experience to those spending money in the store that employs you?! I would've gotten it myself but I'm vertically challenged and my tall teenager was getting food. I need Bath & Body Works to train their staff to offer better customer service than this. Being an avid viewer of YouTube, I see so many videos being made about Bath & Body Works hauls, which are basically videos of people showcasing their latest purchases, and the items shown the most are the infamous B&BW candles..... I've heard so much about these candles: how their scent fills rooms, how they come in an array of scents for all seasons, how most people favor them over Yankee Candles, and how the 2 for $22 candle sale is the best time to get them. This is what led to my visit. I signed up online to receive emails and be informed when the sale comes back around and when it popped up within a few days of signing up, I was like 'ohhhhhhhh, snap!' and headed to the mall. This location happened to be in Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville, GA. On the left side of the store you'll find an assortment of shower gels, hand lotions, body lotions, sprays and other smell good stuff. I tend to wear perfume and prefer unscented or 'clean smelling' lotions as opposed to extra fruity, perfumey ones that'll compete with whatever fragrance I'm wearing, so I tend to bypass those. Perfumey isn't a word, I know, but let's roll with it. Speaking of smell goods, if you're looking for a new fragrance, try Forever Red. Thank me later. Walk over to the right side of the store and you'll find all the B&BW candles. Candles in all kinds of scents: fall scents ( they're known for their pumpkin and Autumn candles ), winter/ Christmas scents, ones that'll smell great in the kitchen, ones that'll help you relax in bed, ones that'll add that clean, crisp smell to your bathroom, etc. During my visit, I was greeted by Ms. Eugenia. She was very nice, personable, and knowledgable. I had a few candle scents in mind that I wanted, but also sniffed a few of her suggestions. Everything in the store was neat, clean, and organized, and having worked retail in my day, that's very important. Who wants to shop in stores that look like chaos erupted? I left out of the store with 8 candles ( yes, 8. Don't judge me ) and quickly saw that I'm developing into quite the candle person. I was given coupons and a survey at the bottom of the receipt to explain how my service was. I gave Ms. Eugenia great scores, and it doesn't hurt to take the survey when you get a $10 off coupon for taking it. One thing I would suggest is having coffee beans for people like myself who go around smelling so many things that they all start to smell the same at some point. That would be a plus. Great customer service. Candles really are strong and worth your money! Love their semi-annual sales where you can get full size products for as low as $3!!! I stock up on these and give them as birthday/Christmas gifts to friends! I have never written a review, but I must say that I feel the need to write one on this company. The customer service was great. The staff were very nice and friendly and seem to always be available to assist. I even arrived at the counter and the cashier explained about their sales that I was not aware of.
