This is my favorite store of all time. It's so exciting to get giftcards as gifts and then get coupons in the mail! I ended getting my favorite candles/lotions/plug ins/ soaps for free or cheap. Customer service is always great. They are usually very helpful in helping me find what I want. Shelves are always fully stocked. It's nice to see that they roll out new scents all the time. But sucks that sometimes favorite scents retire. I have found some of the retired scents on their website or their outlet stores. BBW always has some type of sale and I am so glad they always allow me to use their mailed coupons on sale items too. This will always be my forever favorite store. Bubble bursting: Take a 'dish soap factory' otherwise idle and create a line of body soaps using ONE lowcost formula with dozens of varieties of cheap scents and dye added. With essentially no difference in quality/formulation, pick the scent that you like. It will be THE SAME bottle of cheap dish soap with a different label and scent. 'Dawn' from Smart and Final is a better deal... Got a problem with that? Just slap a label on it and call it 'Calm' or 'Mist,' charge 20 times as much and you're good to go! A higher end product, with actual variations in formulations/botanicals can be had through Whole Foods or even The Body Shop. BBW is a knock-off at the very bottom of the market with cheap products designed to elicit an emotional response from an uninformed clientele. But when you 'peel the label back mentally' and realize it's just cheap dish soap, you may want to shop elsewhere. -G read more

Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming! When you first walk in the door, they have hand sanitizer for you and shopping bags. I had placed on online order on cyber Monday and oh, what bargains I found! I ordered several hand sanitizer sprays, "Sunshine and Lemons" for only $3.90 each! When I went to the Fig Garden location to pick up my order (save on shipping costs and no worries about porch pirates) I found little pocket size sanitizers in the same fragrance. 5 for $8...score! I'm starting to see a theme here for Christmas this year. "When life gives you lemons...". Anyway, back to my visit. The store wasn't busy, I didn't have to wait for my purchase or pickup and did I say how nice everyone was?! Keep B &BW in mind for your holiday shopping this year. I have no idea why, when I'm in Fresno, I have to make the trip to this B&BW and stock up on pretty smelling things. When I'm at home (in the South Bay), 100% of the time I shop online for B&BW products...but for some reason every time I'm in Fresno, it's like it's a new thing for me: I must shop at B&BW. I'm a sucker for the Buy 3-Get 3 deal - you should see my bathroom storage closet - perfect rows of all things B&BW. I get a kick out of replenishing the shower gel with a new fragrance - imagine that? Room fragrances, candles, shower gels, body lotion....I love it all. Pillow mist is my new favorite - Sleep is the one I like best, Stress Relief is a little too masculine for me. One thing I miss are the "scratch and sniff" mailers that used to circulate now and then - it was a great way to get me to try new fragrances. I can imagine those campaigns are likely costly and like most businesses these days, many are looking to save money where they can, but this is true: those fragrance mailers were a treat and more often than not, got me into the store! read more

Bath & Body Works is a chain and they do a good job to make sure all their stores keep up the same standards. The things that differ are the employees and the retail space/location. This is probably my favorite and best location in the Fresno/Clovis area. I love the vibe in here. It helps that the Fig Garden Village is a nice place to shop at and the overall atmosphere just rubs off in the stores. This place has a more quaint feel. More calm and old school Bath & Body Works feel. The mall locations and other strip mall locations around the state are going for a more hip and modern feel. I prefer how things are here. It seems a lot more calmer to shop here than Fashion Fair location. Fashion Fair is obviously more foot traffic so it gets more crowded. Sierra Vista is dead and just makes me not want to shop when I'm over there. River Park is probably my 2nd favorite next to this Fig Garden location. Staff here were great when we went shopping during Black Friday after Thanksgiving. In general most Bath & Body employees across CA are the same way, but the staff here seemed the nicest compared to the other close by locations. Their inventory is stocked well. Out of the 3 locations in town (Fashion Fair, River Park, Figarden Village), this one is my favorite. I like the setup better and it's not usually crazy busy. When you go to a store at the mall you have to deal with other people at the mall and that one is usually pretty busy. I don't like trying to maneuver around a bunch of people while I'm trying to shop. I almost did go to that one when I was at the mall, but it was being remodeled and temporarily relocated near the food court, but I wasn't about that. Upon entry like usual I was greeted and while I was shopping one of the employees pointed out some new scents to me. I do like this place because it's always well lit and it's so colorful and bright. It puts you in a good mood. Unless of course you're sensitive to smells and/ or someone overdoes it with sampling the fragrances. The best time to shop is when they have sales and/ or you have coupons to use. I needed more hand soap so they had a sale 6 for $24 or 4 for $20 I wanna say so I stocked up. They semi recently redesigned their hand sanitizer to a more streamlined packaging but I held off for a while since I was still using up all my old bottles. Hand sanitizers are 5 for $6 and the cheapest keychain holder was $1. They had a much simpler holder that was just a silicone band that fits between the bottle and lid, but they "blinged" it out with charms and stuff so it was $3.50. I wish they'd just sell the simple band holder for like 50¢ since it would be more attractive and minimalistic than their current basic holders. Sometimes less it more, but Bath and Body Works usually opts for more. I had a coupon for a free travel item and 20% off entire purchase which was really nice and practically made my hand sanitizers free. read more

Extremely friendly and helpful employees. Clean and welcoming store. I didn't know there was a bath & body works in this area. I stumble upon this place by accident. The area seem to always be busy. There are lots of other boutique store, restaurants, drug store and grocery store nearby. This place is lovely. I always come to this particular Bath and Body Works store because I live around the area, making it more convenient to come here. I have always received great customer service. Today, no one greeted me at all but seemed to greet everyone else and no one ever came to ask me if I needed help but helped everyone else. Also, when it was time to checkout, the cashier was so warm and friendly with the customer in front of me. She asked her if she received any emails for the 20% off and asked her for her phone number for her rewards account. When it was my turn, she rang me up, didn't say much and didn't mention any of those things to me at all. So, I just pulled out my phone and asked her to scan my rewards and coupon codes for me. If you are colored beware! This place is a total joke and caters to white folks but we know that already! I do love my dollar gel that I was able to get. So maybe one star is unfair as we were stopped at the entrance "because they were closed" and were not given an opportunity of shop. Although there were people still shopping and it was 6:45 ( closing at 7:00) I needed a couple of hand washes which would have taken a few minutes to pick up and pay for. I've been going to this bath and body works location over the past 15 years or so. This evening I decided to stop in to buy a few wallflower refills. Upon entry, I wasn't greeted by the staff. I usually don't mind, and in this instance the employee near the door was speaking to a customer so I totally understood her not wanting to greet me or simply not noticing that I had entered. I started walking around near the employee and the refills, and was still not greeted or asked if I needed help or about that day's sales, etc. After about a minute, at least 5 other customers entered the store, each being greeted by the same employee that hadn't yet acknowledged me. By this point I was definitely feeling a bit ignored. I'm always so used to the usual helpfulness of bath and body works employees. So, I gather a few refills and put a few other items in the b&bw bag. I was relieved the employee who rang me up was super nice. As I left the store, two employees were surrounding one customer, and I thought that seemed a bit much since there were definitely at least 8 other customers in the same area that could possibly be helped. This location is the one I visit the least amount of times, and I'm beginning to see why. read more

I'm not a fan of too many places in Fig Garden but when I go into this store I almost forget where I am. No snooty better than thou attitudes here, just friendly helpful employees who want you to be happy with your purchase. It's my go to spot for personal items and for those times when I need a gift for my ultra girlie friends. Who doesn't love stuff that smells good right? It's way more convenient than their other Fresno locations and it doesn't hurt that it's right next door to La Boulangerie either. read more

The Fig Garden location is the worst bath and body works I have ever went to. I placed an online order about 2 weeks ago and wanted to return the products last week at this location. There were 2 women helping me. The first one didn't know what she was doing so she called an older lady who looked to possibly be a manager. The older lady looked at me and gave me a stare down and possibly looked to have given me a racist scowl since I'm not Caucasian. She then proceeded to ring my return which I had the receipt for and it showed the last 4 numbers of my credit card on it. She told me she can only give me a gift card or I had to exchange the products. I told her that I paid with my credit card not less that 2 weeks ago and I can return it for a refund to my card. She said that I had to ship them back and pay for the postage to get any money back on my credit card. She then pushed all my stuff back over he counter and said she can't help me unless I exchange the products. I then went to the Fashion Fair location and within 5 minutes had them refunded and with a receipt to have the money back on my card. It's so sad that a "high end" bath and body works could treat a customer let alone a human being any less because of color. In the end I did recieve my refund but I will no longer be shopping at a place that can employ such people. I wish I could give a 0 star but that's not even an option. read more
