My boys are into Pokemon and dumplings. We happen to be going to Barnes and noble and saw a sign that said both were sold there. So we stopped by for the first time in ages. The place is well organized with gifts to please anyone. They have a nice selection of Christmas ornaments, cards, baby stuff and plenty of toys. My boys were in heaven but not my bank lol. The old lady with the shaved head is soooo rude. I asked about needohs after browsing the store and the lady said "there is none, the sign on the door told you that" first of all there is like 4 papers on the door how do I know if they are OLD? Plus there was another one that said something about 'needoh lovers' IMMA BE REAL WITH YOU. I AINT READING ALL THAT. Put the sign near the squishy section or even at the register but to act bothered like people arent gonna ask is crazy. Pick a different job if you hate yours so much. As a years ago by some of the Halloween holiday decorations got broken. They required to be replaced and that's why I decided to visit Hallmark shop to see what they have. Personally, I like the Star Wars and the Peanuts themed and decorations or ornaments. They have a wide variety selection for you to choose from depending on what theme or genre that you're looking for. I will be definitely be trying to get some ornaments and Christmas cards. The clerks are always friendly and helpful. Someone greets you as you enter the store. There is a huge selection of cards and a large variety of things to buy as gifts. The prices are reasonable. read more

Didn't realize there were still Hallmark stores open. Happened upon this because it was nextdoor to Barnes and Noble where I was taking my daughter. Of course I had to go inside! Employee greeted me right away and asked if i needed help. At checkout she was super engaging and kind! I only wish it was closer to where I live....or not because I'd be in there all the time lol. I was disappointed with the service at this location. The employees seemed to be avoiding me and asked everyone but myself if I needed help. I went it looking to purchase a few items but felt unwelcome and unwanted. I love the Visalia location but will definitely not be back here. read more

For Xmas I was gifted a $50.00 gift card for Tjmaxx that was purchased at Hallmark receipt on hand. I've tried to use this gift card several times at Tjmaxx, sister stores HomeGoods and Marshall's with no luck the gift card is dated and not compatible to their registers. Hallmark confirms 50.00 is sitting on the card but they refuse to exchange the gift card with an updated card. Never did we ask for a refund just a gift card that works. I do have the receipt! 4 months later no luck. I've been a Hallmark rewards customer for 30 years and now I realize they do not value their customers. Love this store! I try to avoid the River Park area if I can, but I was in need of a card for a specific situation and I knew a Hallmark store would have what I was looking for, if anyone did. Score! I was helped by a super nice clerk at the store, Lori, and she took me right to the appropriate area. She even showed me a couple cards, and suggested maybe something upbeat and positive, instead of anything with the C word or serious illness. She then left me to browse through the options. I found the perfect card, caring and upbeat. I'm so glad she suggested that to me! There was a line at the checkout, but with multiple cashiers, the line moved quickly. When it was my turn, the girl asked me if I was a member of the Hallmark Crown Rewards. I wasn't, so she signed me up and even let me choose a FREE card! Then today I went back to get a specific Christmas tree ornament, and I got $5 off my purchase! So much more than cards and ornaments there. Lots of gift items and such. read more

I absolutely LOOOOVE looking around in Hallmark stores. They always have the most random coolest stuff ever. I found two birthday gifts I might go back for. I love wearing a nightmare before Christmas hoodie and my beanie to keep my head warm. So when I go into a store comfortable- like I did today- I shouldn't have someone like the associate with Red hair who's name I did not catch- and be watched by just looking around and BUYING a birthday card for my mom. I loved the two other gift for my niece who is a new mother and sister in law I wanna go back for- but just because I don't look proper for her - I shouldn't feel UN-comfortable looking around. Let alone my husbands wallet was VISIBLE in my hand the whole time. Super disappointing of the customer service today! read more

A Hallmark store is a treasure. A true treasure and this location is fantastic. Wonderful staff. Kind, courteous, and helpful. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Madelyn and Lettie, two shining stars in my opinion. On a previous visit I had bought a second ornament that I forgot I already had, so decided to return one. I wasn't planning on purchasing anything. Just a return. Well that didn't happen. I ended up returning one and purchasing two more. And stock being what it can be, you don't wanna miss out. Yes. Absolutely AMAZING customer service. Very attentive staff who knew their inventory well, and showed genuine interest in the needs of the customer!! Guided me to exactly what I was looking for, did not rush me (although it took me 20 minutes to pick a card, lol) and were very friendly overall. To TOP IT OFF when I asked if one of the associates would be kind enough to help me wrap my present, as in, bring the gift item into the shop from my car and have them wrap and bow it for me, she graciously accepted. The kind staff member went out of her way to ensure the packaging was perfect, even adding some extra tissue paper not included with the purchase, in order to give the item the right angle of presentation when the box was opened. The dedication of these employees is visible in their work. They deserve commendation and should be praised for their professionalism and cordiality. read more

I miss my job at hallmark :( before new owners took over and basically didn't keep any of the old staff or some left I miss working here. But I know it's not the same "home feeling" environment I even felt a change when I walked in one day to look the vibe was totally different. But I'll still give a 4 star read more

First of all I think people need to know this Hallmark store in Villagio has changed ownership so it's a brand new store. The entire store has been upgraded, it's not cluttered & overwhelming the sense's like the old store was. The layout is much cleaner looking, the inside has been redone so it's clean & fresh looking & the new sales staff are courteous & helpful. The selection of items is also much better than before, there are still the stand-by regular items but also some unique & different items worth perusing. All in all beautifully redone with exceptional items & staff. Oh and by the way for the person advising going to Hallmark in Fig Garden good luck with that, it closed months ago! read more

I walked into this store right when it opened Thursday morning, I had been waiting in my car for it to open.. The lady opens the doors with no smile no hello back or nothing! Completely rude, and then gets on the phone the entire time.. I'm in the store and had a question and was patiently waiting for her to get off mind you she had more then 1 call and I know one was not regarding work.. The fact that I was waiting and she didn't say one word the entire time pissed me off .. And I put back what I was going to purchase! She was so sweet, probably the best customer service I have ever had made me actually feel like I had to buy something to thank her for being so kind. So I went into this Hallmark store on Mothers Day with my wife. We were looking for a Mother's Day card for our daughter. After about fifteen minutes of looking, we couldn't locate a card from parents to their daughter on Mother's Day. I asked Miranda for help, after a half hazard attempt at looking she quickly said we must be out. I found that to be extremely odd for a Hallmark store to be out of cards. Miranda also told another lady they were out of "mother to be" Mother's Day cards, which I knew was wrong because I saw them on the rack. I helped the lady find the "mother to be" section and she located a card. We continued looking for a card from parents to their daughter who is a mother because we just couldn't believe Hallmark didn't carry the card or was sold out of the card. Another store clerk asked if we were finding everything okay. I said no, and explained what we were looking for. She took us to the right isle and there were plenty of cards to choose from. Miranda gave two customers bad information, which prolonged our time at the store that we didn't need to spend there. The store nearly lost two customers. read more

Customer service at the Blackstone store is the absolute best.. I am a regular customer, and I am always greeted hello as I enter there beautiful store, I am always asked if there is anything they can help me find. Every employee has been more than willing to help me find what I'm looking for and or call another location to see if they could find what I am looking for. The products are goood but the customer service could be better. They did not put all my items in my bag and I had to drive back after getting home. They did not even apologize.
