Lilly likes to design in pastels that have prints or patterns and can seem a bit flamboyant. Their fit is usually perfect. I love them because with just a couple of pieces you and mix and match into several outfits. This location the sales personnel are a bit too laid back. I had wished they'd shown me around and made suggestions but I was on my own.

I came in after working a 12 hour shift tonight, as a nurse. Today is Monday, January 9, 2023. I…read morerushed over after getting off work at 7:30 p.m. I still had my work uniform on. I arrived at 7:50 p.m. There were two associates working tonight. (I didn't get their names so I will describe how they looked. One was Caucasian and one was African American. Both were young. The Caucasian girl had really thick eyeliner with the cat eye look). I said hello and the Caucasian girl said, "Hello. Just so you know, we are closing in ten minutes". I said, "okay, thank you". Neither one of them asked if they could help me find anything. I was left to wander the store looking for hair color. I'm not used to being treated like this in a Sally's before. I always get my hair done at a salon, but this time I was going to try to touch up my roots myself. As I stood looking at the numerous hair color, I was completely lost. The hair color did not come in the box like in a regular store. Being that I get my hair done at a professional salon, I was clueless on what I needed to make this work. Apparently developer had to be purchased in addition to the color, but then again, I don't know this for sure. Neither salesperson ever walked over to help me. Feeling defeated and disappointed, I told them to have a great night and I left at 7:55 p.m. I was parked right in front of the store and saw one of the associates lock the door immediately as I walked out. If either one of these girls would have just offered to help me, it could have been a swift purchase with a happy, excited customer. I do not appreciate being treated like this. I will not return to this Sally's.

I walked every aisle and almost had 3 carts full of items ( no judgement zone lol ) Top brands in clothing , skin care and luggage with such good prices. As a woman who prefers unisex-style scrubs, there are not very many brands that can accommodate that, however they do carry Grey's Anatomy scrubs, Blue Label, Cherokee and WonderWink. Anything that they do not have in stock in the store, they will allow you to order (which means I was able to order several styles in petite length) and they also do embroidery. Embroidery takes 7-10 business days but pricing is reasonable. They also have work shoes available. A more accurate rating for the store would likely be a 3.5. I usually do most of my shopping for scrubs online, but it was nice to have the option to use a fitting room. Note that they are tucked away in the relatively abandoned center where Toys' R' Us used to be on the second floor. Also of note, they do NOT carry Blue Sky, Figs or Urbane scrubs.

For a long time I didn't much care for American Eagle, as I viewed them as more or less a…read moresecond-rate copy of Hollister Co, but recently on the advice of friends I've looked into them again and have been impressed overall. While Hollister takes their concept of style from parent-company Abercrombie's ethos mixed with a retro-surfer fashion sense, Am Eagle is more all-American, nearly Midwestern in their approach. You won't find that much real overlap in what types of styles the two stores carry. What I really like about Am Eagle is that they carry men's extra-small sizes in shirts and overall offer a lot more variety in sizes than most stores of their caliber. Also, their website allows you to look at multiple views of all products and to trace their products to see if a certain color and size is availible in a store near your ZIP code. This is such a nice feature, because it doesn't just show if your local store has it or not, but all the stores in a certain radias. So that cute shirt you want may not be availible at the Oaks Mall, but maybe Orlando and that's nice to know in case you'll be down there soon anyways. (Am I the only person who gives this much thought to shopping?!) I don't like Am Eagle's T-shirts or hoodies very much, but their button-up causal shirts are great and they often seem to have good seasonal sales. Several friends swear by their jeans and their girls' section looks impressive too. Also, I've found the sales staff to be very friendly yet not the least bit intrusive. I'm impressed with them now.

I asked a few questions about make up for older skin (I'll be 58 in June) and she ended up basically giving me a makeover.
