There are candles, sugar scrubs, body lotion, hand soap, room spray, reed diffusers and wax melts. Then you sit down and the staff gathers your scents and lets you smell them together and makes recommendations for which ones go together best but ultimately it is your choice. I made a body lotion. I tried it today. It's light and absorbs nicely. You can definitely smell it but I wouldn't personally cal it overpowering. It was a fun experience. Note that this is not a "class". They don't teach you to make the candles and whatnot. They help you come up with an individualized scent for them and then you do get to mix it all together.

Talking with her, you can feel the heart behind the place. It's a small family business she and her husband have run for a couple of years, with their son(s) helping out in the shop. The kids had a blast browsing all the trinkets and picked out a few toys, the 3D-printed dinosaurs/snakes were a hit. I grabbed some shea butter ($10) and was honestly amazed by the soaps, candles, and all the eclectic finds throughout the store. Super cute shop. Definitely worth checking out.

From start to finish, this was an incredible experience. This was our first time making our own candles and the owner was there to guide us and explain the whole process. We got to personalize our candles from the scent to color to decor and the best part is we did it all ourselves. Since it was a Tuesday morning, it was pretty quiet in the area and we had a private class with Chris. Chris was very thorough, starting with candle and fire safety. He took his time showing my daughter the process, from pouring, mixing, balancing the smells and everything in between. He knew a lot about scents and what goes well together. The shop itself was really nice and tidy. Bonus points on the "secret" room that had some gaming stuff like pool table, mini arcade area and some board games. I say secret because the connecting door is hidden as one of the shelves. He let us take our time in the room that is actually an adjoining room to his shop that has its own entrance/exit door. We could have also bought food from next door and the shop offers drinks. They have different events every month.
