We ended up buying a few items before heading out. The shop is conveniently located right on the main strip across from the castle, making it easy to stop in while exploring. As a bonus, right after visiting we ate at the Gourmet Garden Indian Restaurant nearby, which was also excellent. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Talking with her, you can feel the heart behind the place. It's a small family business she and her husband have run for a couple of years, with their son(s) helping out in the shop. From start to finish, this was an incredible experience. This was our first time making our own candles and the owner was there to guide us and explain the whole process. We got to personalize our candles from the scent to color to decor and the best part is we did it all ourselves. Since it was a Tuesday morning, it was pretty quiet in the area and we had a private class with Chris. Chris was very thorough, starting with candle and fire safety. He took his time showing my daughter the process, from pouring, mixing, balancing the smells and everything in between. He knew a lot about scents and what goes well together. The shop itself was really nice and tidy. Bonus points on the "secret" room that had some gaming stuff like pool table, mini arcade area and some board games. I say secret because the connecting door is hidden as one of the shelves. He let us take our time in the room that is actually an adjoining room to his shop that has its own entrance/exit door. We could have also bought food from next door and the shop offers drinks. They have different events every month. Really neat shop, close to lots of other neat businesses like coffee and ice cream shops.

The salespeople are usually pretty pleasant, but on occasion you'll get the one who is more interested in talking to her boyfriend than helping you or checking you out.
