Horrible service. I went with my four year old around Christmas to get a weed eater for my wife for Christmas, that's what she wanted and what our daughter wanted to get her for secret Santa. The employee treated us like we were trying to steal it. He leaned on it the whole time and got in my personal space when he finally did let me hold it. He treated us like we were going to steal it because we couldn't afford it. Also he didn't believe me when I asked about a military discount. If it hadn't been so close to Christmas and had of had time I would have went somewhere else. I will never go back there unless I just don't have a choice. It made me feel humiliated. Heck I even worked for a Home Depot in clay when I was younger so... nostalgia, but nah no more. I wish I remember the employees name but unfortunately I don't. I went there today to try and get a little bit of information about the cost of kitchen cabinets. I wanna redo my kitchen, however unless I was buying them right there at that moment they could not tell me the prices of cabinets. I just wanted to look up cabinet so I could know how much they cost, and the person was incapable. She was the kitchen designer and the manager came over and she was even worse. I asked an employee where the graphite lubricant was and he walked away from me saying he was going to look for it. He had no idea what I was talking about. I found it myself. I had paid online for something else for pickup. I have never done this before. I asked the employee at the door about it and he acted like I was stupid for asking him. I placed a $100 order for supplies which advertised next day deliver. The items WERE NOT delivered to my apartment. Their proof of delivery photo shows the items were randomly placed (no bag - just a taped receipt) at the entrance of some building under the fire alarm. Not even my building because our exterior walls are not flat. After the phone rang for 4 minutes the customer service representative picked up then hung up the call. When I called back, the phone rang for another 4 minutes, the representative placed me on hold. After I was able to explain the reason for my call, he said they have to reach me via the number on the order. The delivery Service just dumped the products rather than deliver them and the store makes it impossible to resolve the problem. i will shop at Lowe's where they don't treat their disabled veterans like an annoyance. read more

At this point, Home Depot just expects for you to do their bidding. Home Depot does not carry any off sizes like 5/16 they carry only standard 1/2", 3/8" 1/4", that's it. No ABS just PVC. You will buy what we tell you to buy and that is all. People that work there aren't very smart -they seem to be stupid except for their specific section and take no ownership when you ask them for help; they just say it's on aisle 18 but I don't know. Waste of time to go to the store - save your money, go to Lowe's. They are much much more helpful, carry many more sizes and are just overall a better store all the way around. read more

Worst customer service I've ever had. Purchased over 6k in new appliances only to have to cancel the order. They said the delivery people was on their way and when we noticed it started to get late, we started calling. After several calls and lies, we drive to the store to see what was going on and they said their delivery company is out of Orlando and they couldn't get to us, so they would come back in two weeks! Went to this location made an appointment to have our kitchen cabinets redone no call no show then we had to call them to ask what was going on! They made up some excuse, rescheduled. Person coming out reaches out complaining about how far he had to drive and then responds with a crazy estimated number to redo the kitchen cabinet faces intentionally in my mind just so he didn't have to come. This is a joke of a business and ur customer service is below sub par, shocked that you treat customers like this and baffled that we got a text from an employee complaining about coming out absolute joke ! read more

Carpet measurements service is a scam. They do in fact come to your house and measure the rooms to be carpeted. But they won't provide you with the computer copy of the measurements! They have the diagram but won't give you a copy! Since they use the measurements for their own ability to quote but won't provide you with the diagram why the hell would anyone pay them for the "Service". Spoke to "Herman" who claimed to be the manager who said he wouldn't provide a copy of the computer generated diagram. Guess they don't want Lowes to have it either cause that's where I'm doing business now! read more

My mother ordered lots of new appliances from here recently. The refrigerator was delivered dented. Fortunately, the delivery guy spotted the dent on the door and suggested we refuse delivery of it and that they would be back in touch within a day to arrange for delivery of a new one without dents. He was also supposed to hook up our washer and dryer but didn't hook up the dryer. Given that it was Labor Day weekend, we waited until Tuesday to go back to the store. The soonest the delivery/hookup people could come over was on FRIDAY. I said it was unacceptable and that I wanted them to just come get all the appliances and I would return them to the store. Carmella asked me to wait a moment. She managed to get one of the employees to come over to our home the next morning and get the dryer properly installed. :) They couldn't get the refrigerator we originally ordered until two more weeks. That wasn't good and I asked for a refund. They hemmed and hawed for a moment then started making phone calls. It was more than an hour of waiting until they could process our refund but they got it done. Big thank you to Carmella and to Robert for getting things right with us! read more

Very, very frustrated. Purchased the 68" Altura Home Decorators Collection ceiling fan. It wasn't until we got the fan home that we realized the box had been opened. Trusting that the store would not return to stock a defective fan, my husband spent his afternoon today installing this fan. It does not work. Now he is taking it down. I will never leave the store without making certain the box has not been opened again. Wish we could charge back for labor. read more

Extremely disappointed with the service here. Came in to pick up an order and nobody seemed to know anything about it. After checking at the service counter with no help, I headed to the pro counter and they didn't have a clue and didn't offer to help figure anything out. Had to go all the way back to the service counter and they sent me back to the lumber dept. to show them what I needed. 40 minutes of shopping later I finally had my "called in" order ready. Good grief! My Husband and I have shopped our local Home Depot store for, I guess 20 years or more. We have remodeled 2 home's completely and my husband has bought his material for business use (for said years) among several other projects. I noticed with our last interaction in March that things had changed for the worst. We were remodeling our bathroom to accommodate my husband's new handicaps before we could bring him home from the hospital. I was hoping it was an unfortunate fluke with particularly bad timing. We worked through it with the store, in our compromised state there really was little choice anyway. I'm thinking now though that is was not just a "miscommunication" from and among the store employees. We visited your store this past weekend to order new appliances (washer and dryer). We came first on Sunday to compare and shop. It was a struggle to get assistance and we did have to wait some time before we were helped. Our associate was nice and knowledgeable, but clearly juggling our questions along with fielding questions from other customers and employees. Things were too busy to make a final decision, so we decided to come back the next day. After briefly glancing back at the machines independently, I made my choice and was ready to simply order them for delivery. We got in line behind a nice family who shared they had been standing there waiting for over 30 minutes while the 2 associates present were each helping a customer. They mentioned that they were going to leave and just make their purchase on line. The associate stopped them and explained that it was better to order in the store to ensure everything was done correctly and the delivery would not be delayed. They waited about 10 more minutes and then left. We continued to wait for more than 30 minutes, because of what the associate had said. Finally it was our turn. We showed him exactly what we wanted and asked that it be delivered as quickly as possible. He started our purchase and then stopped to go ask a question about which stacking kit we would need. When he came back he promptly took a call from another customer while we sat in front of him waiting. When he hung up, I asked if he was going to need to wait on other people while trying to help us, he was a little defensive but assured me he could now focus on the task at hand and we completed our order. Delivery set for Friday. We received our call Thursday night confirming delivery would be from 1 to 5 on Friday as planned. I had had the laundry room shelving removed, plaster patch work completed and arranged for someone to be there with my husband (still recovering from his stroke) for the delivery. At about 4 I started checking for updates on the delivery and was assured we were still on the schedule. At 5 the message went to "your driver has been delayed, but you will still receive your delivery and you will get a call 30 minutes before they arrive". A truck did stop briefly at our drive way, but made no attempt to come in or talk with us and then just drove away. I called the store and spoke with an associate who put me on hold to "call the delivery people and see what's going on". After a 20 minute hold another associate came on the phone and said he had been asked to put me back on hold while the first associate "finished up with the customer she was helping" - I protested, I thought she was helping me! A third associated came on the phone explaining - she's multi-tasking, she's on hold with the delivery company. It was 6:30 by this point. I asked to just cancel the order and credit my card. The response was, we'll have to verify that the delivery company still has the product. Okay, what ever. A little later a very nice manager called to say they likely would not be able to reach anyone at the delivery company and that it looked like the earliest he could get the machines to us was next week, but he would call me in the morning to update me and I could go from there. I feel like I am a disposable customer, of no significance- associates are working hard to do just enough to keep the customer strung along. Who enters into a contract with a delivery company and doesn't have an after hours number to contact when drivers will be late with deliveries? Or recourse to correct matters quickly when promises are broken? Well, that would be Home Depot Update: I did not receive a call back and had to contact the store myself. The day manager had not read the message from the night manager apparently. Robert looked into it, no idea where the merchandise is, but he can get it to me next Thursday. No thank you. One son took off work this week to remove all the cabinets and shelving from the laundry area, another took off work to do the patch work on the walls and my daughter took off to be here yesterday from 1 to 5 to accept the delivery. So, all the time and energy I spent working with Home Depot was a waste. read more

This is the worst home improvement store that I have ever visited. The only good thing about this location is how close it is to where I live. However, most of the time I drive across town to go somewhere else because the level of service at this place is absolutely terrible. On one occasion I needed one piece of strand board cut to the size I needed for a project. Before visiting the store I checked their website to make sure they carried this type of board and if they would cut it for me in store. According to their website they do cut this type of strand board. However, when I finally went to purchase the board at the store the workers I found to help me said, "we don't cut this type of wood" because it is unsafe. I told them that their website says that they would cut it for me. They refused.. I went to Lowe's and got the same piece of would happily and safely cut for me. Today I went just to quickly pick up some extra paint rollers and a gallon of paint. The aisle I needed to access was closed with the safety fence and a fork lift machine was parked in the middle of the aisle. I waited several minutes for someone in the paint area to show up, but no one did. Could not find any workers around the area. A woman approached me while I was looking for someone who worked there and asked me if I had a moment to give a brief survey. I told her that I would rather not, I just need to quickly grab some paint on this aisle that's closed. I asked her if I could just walk down the aisle and grab the paint. She said I couldn't do that "for safety reasons." I asked her why there is no one working in this area, and she just stated that I "should find someone wearing an orange apron to help me". I sat down the items I had already selected and intended to buy, and I left the store without buying anything. Every time I visit this location, whether I need help or not, the employees seem to avoid me like the plague, except for the ones who want to give out surveys. No customer acknowledgment, no greetings, and when they see you coming they turn and walk the other direction. Normally I don't even care about these kind of things because I just like to get in and out quickly, but they seem to have no culture of customer service at this location whatsoever! And their policies from the website to the store are inconsistent. It is extremely disappointing! I will probably continue to visit this location just for simple things because of the close proximity to my home, but for large projects I will just continue to go to the competitors across town because they actually seem to like helping me.... read more

This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Before I moved here, I wanted to get all of my flooring done so my house would be ready. After multiple phone calls, we set it up to where they said that they could get it done a few days before I even came into the city. It has been over a month, and they still have not done anything. They dropped off the materials 3 weeks late, and when the installer came in, they said that there was something wrong with my floor even when they took a look at it a month ago. They are unresponsive and unhelpful on the phone and in the store, and I will never use them again. read more

Letter to Mgr and several phone calls to Customer Service no response in 2 weeks. In response to HD comment I have emailed customer care they told I have to deal with the store. My husband and I are using their flooring dept only bc they are the only ones who carry the pattern we want. Otherwise we wouldn't because this has been some of the worst customer service we have ever received . We picked out exactly what we wanted, did our research and even estimated the pricing (we well over estimated the area of flooring we need). It took about 30 min to get someone to help us while we were there. We got a new guy who was very nice but didn't know much. We set up a day and estimated time for someone to come by and give us a better estimate. Not only did no one show up that day but when I finally called and asked why no one had come (this was after three calls and about 45 minutes on the phone) I was told that we should have paid in advance for the estimate and we had been told we paid for an estimate WHEN they did it. No apologies and I felt like they were implying I should have known better. The estimate was finally done and we were told we would get an itemized list of how much everything would cost. Two days later we got a cost estimate that averages about $2,000 more than we expected and it isn't itemized so it appears to be very dishonest. I know unionized government employees that are more interested in working than these people. read more

Shelves are never stocked correctly and items are out of order. This store is very poorly lit. Overall layout makes no sense, for instance Electric is in two separate areas. After 22 years of marriage and 3 homes, we bought all mew appliances for the first time. Our first stop was Home depot we spent two hours looking at every Fridge, stove and dishwasher. After we narrowed down our likes Mary went online and checked the reviews and we settled for nothing less then 4 stars. Like any big purchase we would not buy the first thing we saw so we took down make and model numbers and compaired them with other appliance stores. We went back the next day and Mary gave us the the free haul away that lows had on ad. The next day I went on line and I saw the fridge was $100 cheaper home depot credited my account the price difference with no problems. Four days later our appliances went on sale for a lower price. with no questions asked they refunded me the difference. I am all about saving money and when I am looking at spending $6000,00 I want the best deal and Home depot gave it to me. great job guys thank you read more
