Good experience at b&bw on Saturday morning. I grabbed some lip balms, scrubs and mask since they were on sale. They also had great deals on candles (mine was $6.74) and some foam washes were 75% off. When I got home i noticed my receipt didn't include the 4th item free from the buy 3 get 1 free for the lip products so I called the customer service number. They were so nice and said they would send me a 10 gift card. So awesome they corrected it quickly! read more

I have been to this location several times and truly haven't had a single issue. I definitely can't say the same for other locations so they are getting the full five stars. You are greeted by a friendly soul upon entering the store and if you need assistance it's available, but otherwise you are allowed to shop and browse in peace. My family and I went to the Bath & Body Works San Tan Village after viewing a movie. We typically shop at the Queen Creek location but decided on this location because of the convenience. We just wanted to exchange body butter, as my daughter was informed during the sale a couple of weeks ago to get any scent and bring it back the following week, as they would be receiving a new shipment (this was suggested so she wouldn't miss out on the sale). We get into the store, greeted with a smile but was immediately told we needed a receipt for an exchange. I even asked if they could look up the transaction in their system but was told no. My daughter suggested we go to Queen Creek where we normally shop & she was right, all we needed was an ID. No matter how convenient, I don't think I'll be back to the San Tan Village location anytime soon. The quality customer service is lacking. The scents/fragrances are cheap and smell like shit. There are higher quality products out there that are much healthier for the body and the environment. When I first walked in, I was shocked. This was the first Bath & Body Works store I had been to in probably 10 years that wasn't ghetto and wasn't blasting music like a nightclub. This store was very clean and well organized. The product was displayed nicely. It seemed like it was going to be a pleasant shopping experience. There were only a few customers in this store. The sales people asked if I needed any help and made themselves useful. Then, there was a family that came into the store. A mom, dad, and a few kids; one of the kids in a stroller. They knew one of the sales people and started chit chatting away about these kids. Gradually this conversation became louder and louder and just plain obnoxious. The mother and the sales lady of this store were laughing and carrying on so loudly, it was like hearing a pack of hyenas. Good grief! Nobody shopping in this store wants to hear this and/or cares about whatever it is you are talking about. Also, employees should not be inviting their friends to the workplace to socialize. Yesterday while trying to order the beard cream online, I was alerted that it was out of stock within minutes of adding it to my cart. So I changed the store pick up location to the San Tan because it showed the beard cream in stock. Again, within minutes, online alert said it was out of stock at that location & all others in the area. I deleted it and just continued with the rest of my order. Today, when I went into the store to pick up my order, I saw a multitude of the beard cream stacked on the shelf!!! It definitely was NOT out of stock!! I told the salesperson about what happened & she said that the website is not always accurate & that it's a problem. Then I asked the associate if I could get the beard cream at the sale price from the previous day since it was clearly not out of stock. She told me that I would have to prove that I tried to order it online for them to honor the sale price ‍WHAT?? First of all, WHY would I lie about it?? If I could have ordered it then I would have!! Second, there is NO possible way for me to prove that the website was saying out of stock. Thirdly, if the associate knows about a problem with the online inventory being inaccurate then why would I still have to prove it to them??? Store lost my sale because they just didn't want to actually provide customer service!! read more

I am writing a review since I want others to know my experience during Candle Day. I was overcharged. Candle day price was $9.95 but when I purchased, even though I entered the Candle Coded, Bath and Body charged me $24.50 for each candle. The payment glitched and went back to the original charge. They were supposed to credit me the difference after the candles shipped, but I was still slightly overcharged. It took me multiple chats for them to do the credit, and when all was said and done, I was still overcharged. I am done chatting, I am done taking time out of my free time, I am done buying from Bath & Body Works. Just be very careful when you buy... they obviously do not have servers that can handle the influx of purchasers. read more

Yesterday me and my dad went to go buy a gift for my mom for her birthday. We went right after opening at 8/24. We got to the counter and I saw that they had gift wrap so I politely asked if I could get them wrapped. The lady agreed to and asked if I wanted them all together. Wasted 30 min shopping. Had an order placed online and found out there was a sale when I came in. I asked if they can still use the coupons I used on the online order, in person if you cancelled and I purchase now. She said yes and then at checkout she denied agreeing to that and said it takes 72hrs for the coupon to come. Manager was useless as well, she knew what was going on and said she would offer the discount for the coupon nonetheless. I am extremely sensitive to scents. There are some stores that I can't walk into without getting nauseous or breaking out in a rash. I don't have that problem in this Bath & Body Works. I can spend an hour in there and have no allergic reactions. It's great! It's also one of the few brands of candles that I can use. My favorite is London (Tea and Lemon) which I stock up on when I see them. The employees are helpful, but not pushy. It's always a pleasure to come to this location. read more

Fantastic Products, Deals, and Staff On Wednesday morning, my mother and I decided to have a much needed "girls day" at the Santan Mall. Our first stop was Bath and Body Works and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience and service we received. The store was clean and well organized making all the products easy to find. My new favorite scents had come into stock! All the brand new fall scents were neatly displayed at the front to showcase that fall is here. All non-fall scents were displayed around the edge of the store just as neatly, which looked just as inviting. The store looked very organized and I could tell they took pride in making the store look professional. As for the service, it was amazing! A worker on the floor was always easily accessible and approachable. One even assisted my mother to help her find the perfect fall soap! They constantly reminded us of on going sales and how to save the most money for your overall purchase! They were all extremely friendly and make our visit to the store very pleasing! Even at checkout, I was reminded of a money saving deal! I ended up saying $10 at checkout. I most definitely will return due to amazing deals and friendly staff! read more

I love the newly updated Bath and Body Works store in this location. I'm a big fan of this store and the remodeled and expanded location just makes me want to go there even more. The new store carries much of the White Barn lines of candles and accessories such as candle holders. With this updated location, they now are selling the wax melts that can be used in wax burners such as "Scentsy" or burners they sell there. Another difference with this new store is you can buy everything in the store meaning if there is a display basket with candles, you are able to buy the basket. This store for me is like I candy and I love how they display different items. I look forward to seeing all of their different seasonal displays in the future at this new store. Not my idea of a good time but I need to visit this place from time to time for those essentials to make my lady happy. Today just happen to be super special candle sale day. That's when I get all crazy and buy Costco quality candles so that I don't have to buy them for three or four months until the next super special candle sale day. This location has really good employees, they're always happy and family to help. It's a busy location so the line is always 10 people deep. My advice is have a husband or boy toy wait in line while you snag all your favorite scented candles and other reduced marked down items that way when you're ready he's almost to the front of the line. 70% of the time, it works every time read more

It has been a pleasure for me to come to this shop and be helped by a young lady named Zoe. She's knowledgeable, helpful, kind and honest and always has a smile on her face. I end up buying much more than I came in for with her help, lol. She's AMAZING! One day I walked in the store and I heard Zoe speaking but I couldn't see where she was. I looked over to the wallflower refill section she was on the floor cleaning a spill. She was cleaning, answering customers questions who were around her, recommending products while cleaning and smiling at the same time. She's an AMAZING asset to this shop and I highly recommend that you ask for Zoe when you visit as I already have to my friends and family. read more

I visited a lot of places yesterday and have to give this store a positive. I went in because I love the scented body sprays-- like perfume but super light and non headache inducing! They were on sale "buy three-get three free." That got me in the door- amazing selection and friendly from the get go. Greeted then asked if I needed a bag-- gal told me buy three of any scent product, bath gel, lotion whatever and still get the buy three get three deal. Easy check out, efficient and a big fat sincere thank you when I went out the door. The service at BBW has been consistently good for me, and consistently similar. I had shopped for candles on December 1st (only the most exciting day ever since three-wick candles were only $8.95 ). So you can say I stocked up when I was at the Chandler Fashion Center mall. I knew I had some coupons that I had left at home, but she insisted that I can bring the receipt back to any Bath & Body Works, and they would just do a price adjustment. I ended up going to the location at San Tan Village and Josh helped me at the counter. Not only did he do EVERY THING POSSIBLE to provide great customer service and do everything that I had asked from him, but he did it with a smile on his face. ....and let me tell you, trying to do a price adjustment for 20+ candles that I bought, was NO easy task with the software that Bath & Body Works uses. This stores service depends on the day and who is working if you get good service or not. No consistency when it comes to sales . I've shopped at this location many times and have never had a bad experience. The staff has always been super friendly and incredibly helpful. Every time I've asked for an item I couldn't find, they go out of their way to locate it for me and always offer to check in the back of it's not on the shelves. They've done this even when they are super busy. The sales have always been clearly marked by the signs so I've never had any questions on what's included or not. They always greet me as soon as I walk in and answer any questions I have from the start. I haven't had as great of service at any other location. Even when customers are grumpy and rude, the girls there always treat them super sweet too. I would give them 10 stars if I could. read more

Previously came here for soaps less than a month ago and walked out without purchasing a single item because the store would not honor any coupons. My friend and I decided to give this store another try for the annual candle sale. I called and spoke to Tanya and asked if coupons were accepted with the candle sale and she said yes prompting us to return with hopes of a better outcome. During my checkout Tanya approached me and asked if I was looking for anything else and she helped me find an item I needed to complete my purchase . She was extremely helpful and kind. Also Katrina was so accommodating in finding two of the last the frosted cranberry candles from another associate. Bernice at checkout was quick to check us both out and was very professional especially with the long line of people behind us.
